Washing machine: We had some trouble learning to use the washing machine. They are just so different now from the previous one we had. Ard's hung in there with us until we got it figured out. We received a good price and good service. In fact, Ard's went out of their way to help us get it in a timely fashion. It was an emergency, since we had a patient in the house and had lots of laundry to keep us with. The recliner has been very useful. Just the thing. Again, Ard's took great pains to get the chair to us in a timely way and the price was good too.

They are excellent.

We came home from a weekend trip and found our refrigerator had stopped functioning. So we needed to buy a new one fast. After going to two chain stores and receiving less than stellar service we found a good local store, Ards. They are family owned and have been in business a long time. We went in the store at 8 a.m. Friday morning as soon as they opened. Talked to a gentleman and picked out a model we liked. They did not have the model we wanted in stock so they had to order it from the factory, but they gave us a loaner refrigerator. They brought it and set it up that afternoon, hauled off our old one and we were ready to rock and roll that afternoon. It was probably in the 90 degree range that afternoon and the gentleman who did that worked on his own and had it set up and the old one taken out within two hours. This was all at no charge. The new one came several days later.
