Description of Work: My wife and I purchased a Sundance 880 Spa from All About Pools and Spas, LLC.

Description of Work: All About Pools and Spas, LLC. They replaced liners, they replaced everything for the pool.

Description of Work: The Pool was ordered on May 21, 2012. Deposit was made for $3,700.00. The material for the pool was delivered on June 26,2012. They started digging the pool on Friday P.M. They would work only about 4 (four) hours a day. I was told that the pool should be finished for a July 4 party when I signed the contract in May. The week of July 4, they worked Monday, Tues., Thurs., and Friday. The 4th was on Wednesday. If the company had worked regular 8(eight) hours on these days, the pool would had been finished. On July 9, the pool was ready for inspection. The rest of the week, it rained and messed up what they had done. They had to put a pump in the pool to get the water out on July 10. No one came out to check on the pump. I stop by their store on July 11 to talk to Billy about the slow work. He tried to explain that things are done in stages. I understand that, but some things could have been completed in 1(one) day, took 2 (two) half days. They had two week of dry weather and could not finish my pool. It is now July 23 and it is still not finished. The liner is in, the water is in but we cannot circulate the water because they have not finished the electric work. They say that it will be two weeks before the cement can be done. The men that were doing the physical work were doing all that they could do, but Billy would not let the stay with the job long enough to finish in a reasonable amount of time. If I could do this over again, I would make sure I have a schedule of what they plan to do. The price of my pool is $18,500.00. I have paid $ 14,800.00 so far. I am suppose to pay $3,200.00 when the water is in the pool. I don't know if I can trust them with any more of my money. I really don"t know what to do at this point.

Description of Work: The female owner went over the pros and cons of the different types of above ground pools we could purchase i.e. chlorine, salt, and baquacil. We also talked with her husband, Billy, and they told us once the pool was setup they would educate us on how to maintain the pool. All About Pools and Spas, LLC, requested a deposit of half the cost of the above ground pool up front. Billy said the schedule for installing pools was about 2 weeks out and he eventually scheduled to install our pool on a Friday but came out on Thursday instead. He said the store should have called us on the schedule change and they did on our answering machine about 7 minutes before his workers came to our house. We just happened to run into them in Lowe’s when he told he was going to our house right then. He mentioned about us getting a building permit for the pool about 3 days before the pool was to be installed which was an additional cost of $50.00; this was never mentioned during the quote of the pool until after we already paid them the deposit. When the workers came out to setup the pool they removed the grass at the site for the pool and told us it was our responsibility to get rid of it. The owners never mentioned to my wife and I during the pool consult we would be responsible for the grass removal. The skid loader they used created ruts and ruined a good part of our yard. The workers said they would be back the next day once the pool was a foot and a half deep. When I did not see the workers the following morning I called All About Pools and Spas and spoke with their manager to ask when they would be coming back to finish the pool setup. We had horrible customer support from the manager of All About Pools and Spas; she told me “they would be out whenever they could fit me in”. Couple of the workers came out later on in the day to cut-out the skimmer opening and to fix some of the components on the pool itself. Billy came out on Monday to pick-up the remaining balance of the pool, drop off pool ladder, and add chemicals to the pool. He said he was not as familiar with the baquacil product as his wife was which did not seem right when he is one of the owners of the store. He installed pool vacuum and water fountain to pool and said to bring a sample of the water to his store to see if I needed to add anymore chemicals.

Description of Work: put in a in-ground swimming pool it ok to say that you are only licensed contractor in town that you as a contractor may well do a good job but the problems start when a "licensed contractor"hires under trained staff to do his work leaving the job site unsupervised cause nothing but problems it real bad when you see your staff doing the job wrong and you have to go out side to tell them to stop.then you call the "licensed contractor"to come to the job side he shows up 3 hours to late because cantilever( bull nose) around the steps was pull apart before the concrete was set leaving a real ugly edging which you refuse to fix not to mention other problems what accrue after the pool was finish like the liner leaking had to replace at my cost $2700.00. the light when bad because of the code violation what wasn't meet by current national electrical code article 680-22 i had to replace at my cost $700. if the ground wire didn't work and cut the main breaker off everyone in the pool would of cause electrocution resulting death.when replacing the pool liner we found several hole as big as your fist this is one of the reasons the liner was leaking and the simmer want seal right along with the concrete cracking and one of the panel didn't have dirt behind it one code violation also the step at the shallow end are not pack in all the way .the liner track is coming away from the concrete list go on would you want this contractor to do work for you? i made a big huge mistake using this company the bad thing is he down right refuse to fix his bad work and you have to chase him down and as result i have to do this on angie's list to get his attention!

Description of Work: I had them install a concrete pad under my pool pump(the cheap plastic one that Water works installed along with shoddy pvc pipe install had to be replaced). The professionalism and quality is by far superior to any other POOL company in this town. I would and do recommend this company to anyone who asks,period!

Description of Work: We used All About Pools and Spas to replace the whole motor system for the pool because it was hit by lightning.

Description of Work: I purchased a Doughboy pool from All About Pools and had them install it for me. This was a mid-level oval pool (16' X 33") with an expanded liner (one end of the pool is 7.5' deep)
