TONY'S TREE SERVICE

I called Tony for a free estimate and he came the same day, was very friendly and seemed honest. He was by far the cheapest, so we hired him. When the workers showed up at our house they were already late and then Tony came to the door asking for money up front so he could go have some tools sharped. Tony left and his brother and two other men began cutting down the trees. The first one went down perfectly, but the next one came down right into the side of our house! What followed from then on was total irresponsibility and lies on Tony's part. He said he would have a friend of his come and repair the hole on the outside( siding, etc..) and have another friend to repair the hole from the inside, drywall, painting, etc. These so called friends of Tony were complete failures and con artists. Tony tried to avoid us for weeks, never returned our calls and never made good on his promises. The siding still does not match, and his painter tried to leave the room with only one coat of paint with brush and roller marks showing through. I would never use this company again. Tony's tree removal is the least expensive, but should an accident happen, he is not prepared and will lie, cheat or do whatever he can to get out of paying for the damage he caused.

Work was done well, promptly and reasonably. We had obtained his name from Angie's List and were very pleased.

I called and made an appointment with this company for an estimate. It was supposed to be on March 21, 2008. They called at the last minute and changed it to March 22, 2008, at 1:00 PM. Fine. Well, they never showed up and didn't have the courtesy to call me.

Tony came out for an estimate the same day I called. He had his crew were here that same afternoon. It went very well.
