Todd Hibbard Painting & Drywall

Todd and Jared came in the afternoon on the date arraigned and on time. I really thought it would take a couple trips to get it done, and they amazed me by getting 3 fairly good sized rooms done in a relatively short time in just the one trip. That included taking paint chip samples of the existing colors to the paint store. They were both very professional, and left no mess for me to clean up. I would definitely recommend Todd Hibbard painting.

He did a great job at a great price. We found him when he came by dropping off flyers. I think at that point he may have been just getting started. We called him, brought him over, and talked with him. We liked what he said so we gave him a try and it worked out well. I would recommend him. The only negative thing that happens a lot when you do exterior painting was he did paint my windows shut. I had to go and cut them, but that is very normal for painters to do that. We were totally happy with him. He was there on time and got done on time. He did not complain with the hard-to-get places or anything. He completed the job in less than a week. As far as I know, it was only him. I was not at the house most of the time.

Contracted Todd Hibbard to replace some cedar siding panels on the front porch and repair some rotting facia boards. Once the old siding boards were removed, it was found there was extensive rotting of the timbers under the house (foundation boards?). The guest bathroom was just on the other side of this outside wall and the commode had been leaking for years; thus, the plywood foundation had rotted out. All this called for timber replacement and taking up the tile floor in the bathroom. While this was an unexpected turn of events, Todd and crew took on repair efforts without complaint. These repairs, of necessity, caused some drywall work inside the house that were on the other side of the outside panels that needed mudding/repainting. While not in the original job request, we asked Todd if he could replace the decking on the front porch. The original decking was treated 2" x 5" boards. These were replaced with treated decking boards. While I know just enough about the building trades to be dangerous, Todd explained in detail what needed to be done to (correctly) make the necessary repairs and, if possible, offer alternatives that might save us money. Hindsight is 20/20 and I wish I had take pixs of the damaged areas so as to have a before/after perspective. Suffice it to say the water damaged areas were bad. All this work was done in a timely and professional manner. Todd and crew are very professional in their work and clean-up was excellent. While this was a major job for both Todd Hibbard and us, we've used Todd Hibbard in the past and I regret not posting his company earlier. Before we were married, my wife used him for interior painting, minor repairs to her house and pressure washing her house. After we got married, we had Todd Hibbard, remove some sky lights in a room that had been leaking, As with the above reported work, he found rot inside an outside wall. The skylights were removed and the roof reshingled and the rotted section was repaired and a large double pane (1") window was installed. This room is now used exclusively during the colder weather. His company also repainted an interior hall, master bedroom and guest bath for us. For work within Todd Hibbard's expertise, we don't even give a second thought as to who we'll call to do the work. His quotes are fair and any work he'd done for us has been excellent. I have and will continue to do so recommend this company to anyone in need of work around the house.
