STACKS NURSERY

We hired Stack's to expand our patio by 4' along approximately 30', using brick pavers. Stack's Landscape/Hardscape Designer, Anna, worked with us to design a beautiful layout. Her Hardscape/Landscape Crew showed up right on time every day of the project and did excellent work, paying attention to the smallest details. The quality of the job was outstanding, and we are very happy with the results. Anna stayed in touch with us through the planning phase and then every day of the project by email, text, or in person, making numerous visits to our home to ensure the things were going as planned and on time. Without reservation, we highly recommend Stack's for projects of this nature!

System was installed and properly working and cleaned up after words even with all the rain trying to create havoc! Great job guys.

The experience was good. It was probably $5,000 or $4,000. Their price is average, it’s whatever the grading scale. It’s not an “A” or an “F”, it’s average, it’s comparable to the market.

We have purchase two holly, one weeping willow, (2) Tulip Poplars and one Florida Red Maple. They have planted these trees and in the case of one tree that had a problem dealing with the wet nature of our soil, replaced the tree. They have moved a Live Oak for us into a better more conducive environment for the tree to flourish, which it is. John, Andrew and Mike are knowledgable in the LowCountry and what will do well and were. I have brought in leaf samples, dirt samples and they have set us on the right road to which feritilizer to use and how/when to employ it amongst other things...Andrew and John created the basic template for our front and back yard and we modified the plants under their tutelage (never tried to force us to use their product guidance. They even introduced us to our new electrician, these people are a fixture here in Summerville, another reason my wife and I (family too) love it here in the LowCountry. If I ask the folks at the nursery a ? and they aren't sure or don't know and start an argument about it, they will go find one who knows the answer. Whether I bring them a picture on the phone or a sample in a ziploc- they know.... Like other mom-pop organizations in this area, they are experts who wouldn't try and rip you off. I have lived in CA, WA, NV, AZ, VA, FL, IN, TX, MA, VA, KS, MO and I have to say, this state and the work ethic, pride and professionalism in business is second to none- Handshakes set deals and, believe it or not, Angie's List has helped us find these people and now that we know them and they know and trust us, it is not hard to find that right person for the job we are looking to get accomplished, and so far, we have not been let down with anybody we have found on Angie's List or that those we have established a raphor with. Maybe messed up with an exterminator who promised something and is not following through- coming soon?

We were not happy with the initial placement of the palm. We contacted the nusery and they immediately, the next day, sent the crew back out to move the palms to a new location at no cost. They are excellent at what they do and provide. The palm trees are of excellent quality. We have purchased palm trees from Stacks prior and they were just as accomodating then as they were for this most recent trasaction. They are located in Summerville and we live on Daniel Island and will drive the extra miles just for the quality that is provided.

Work was originally done June 2013, They were to return to finish a small area of laying sod. It was never completed. After hearing of the situation, the company has taken care of it and we consider the job completed.

It took quite some time for the fencing materials to arrive and communication could be have been better, but all of the work was done with close supervision and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. It is beautiful.

Stacks did a tremendous job and the result was exceptional. The person who ran our job was Daniel Peek. Daniel was professional, honest, responsive, hard working and answered any and all questions we had as the job progressed. He explained everything clearly and was a pleasure to work with. The crew at the house showed up on time and ready to go from day one and did not stop until the job was finished. They worked extremely well with our contractor coordinating with him on other work being done. I would highly recommend Stacks for any landscaping needs.

I was referred to Stacks by my pool guy because of the planting beds I had installed beside the pool. He was concerned that if a drain was not installed, the planting bed material (mulch/dirt) would float into the pool. Understanding and agreeing with his professional concern and advice, I contacted Stacks for a quote for the drain lines and other landscaping issues. Stacks had someone come right out. I met with a young man who was very polite, knowledgable and well groomed. I explained what I needed. He took measurement and then called/emailed the quote for the drain lines. The price was average, but fair. The selling point for me was that they were able to start immediately (like the next day if I remember correctly).

Stacks is located just down the street from my house. They've done a lot of work for us. They removed a stump, and installed landscaping and irrigation. They've also done grading and sod. I thought they were professional, and responsive. I definitely use them again.
