They were excellent! They speeded up the service date to help us with this problem. The technician was timely, very professional, very friendly, and fixed the problem -- which involved substantial disassembly of the dryer to access the faulty part. He then checked for venting clearance -- the most likely cause of the failure.
Description of Work: Our dryer stopped giving out heat. It worked fine otherwise. It was still under warranty, but Samsung was so unhelpful that we called in RAM.

RAM Electric & HVAC LLC is terrible. After three failed attempts to repair my fridge by RAM Electric & HVAC, I had no other choice but to buy a new one. Each time the fridge was supposedly repaired, I filled it with fresh and frozen food, only to have the fridge fail again after only 4-5 days. Each time I lost all my food! Unfortunately, I was never reimbursed for all my lost food that thawed and spoiled. I will never use RAM Electric & HVAC services again! Yes, my insurance gave me a little money to buy a new fridge, but I had more out of pocket money to replace my old one. If you can't fix it, tell your customer. Don't do a half a** repair that lasts for 6 days. Also, not once did RAM Electric & HVAC LLC ever contact me. I had to call them each and every time to find out the status of my repair. Very unprofessional, and not customer friendly. WILL NEVER USE AGAIN!!
Description of Work: My (out of warranty) year and a half old Kenmore refrigerator stopped making cold air. My home warranty company sent out RAM Electric & HVAC LLC to repair the problem. I paid a $50 deductible for the service call, and my insurance paid the rest to RAM Electric & HVAC.

Dear [Member's name removed,] I am sorry to hear that you are holding us responsible for the failure of your Kenmore refrigerator. As you stated, your unit was rather new. As you did not state, your home warranty company sent Sears Appliance out originally. After having them out several times you asked for someone else to come out and take a look. They refer to that as a second opinion. Your home warranty company was told on our first visit that we felt that it should be under warranty as it was a newer unit and the problems should be covered under the manufacturers warranty. At that time they took the work order away from us. A week later we received the work order again saying that you did not want Sears out and that you requested us. Again we told them that the unit needed a new compressor. Since it was not under warranty from Kenmore, unclear why, your home warranty approved us to replace the compressor. It worked for a week and then you called it back in. Your home warranty company sent us a new work order which did in fact have a service fee of another $50 due to us if something new was wrong with the unit. The compressor was not the issue this time therefore you were supposed to pay the $50 service fee. However, we did not charge you. We felt that this situation was becoming increasingly frustrating for you and we tried to accommodate you in every way we could. After not being able to clearly determine what the problem was we contacted your home warranty and told them that we have tried everything we knew to try and felt that they should send someone else out. What you also failed to mention is that your home warranty company replaced your refrigerator or gave you money towards it. We did not put you in a situation where you had to purchase a new one out of pocket. I can appreciate your frustration but I think that is misdirected. Kenmore should have stood by their product in my opinion, as it should have been under warranty to begin with. Sometimes products are just lemons. Thank you for your business.

Roger came to inspect my furnace on a Friday when it wasn't working properly. He discovered that there was a needed part and realizing that he didn't have easy access to the part and that it was a Friday afternoon, he recommended another company that he felt could provide quicker repair. Due to the limited time available to us, he made the call to the other company for me.
Description of Work: Roger has done electrical installation and serviced my heating/air conditioning.
