Prestige Services 'Emergency Water Removal'

Description of Work: Came home from dinner on a Saturday night and discovered the washer had overflowed, resulting in 1/2" of water throughout the first floor of my daughter's house. We called Prestige about 8PM and they arrived from Summerville, SC about 9:45PM. While I had swept out the majority of the water, Kent (President) and his crew of 2 ,used Infrared imaging equipment and moisture readers , to locate the extent of the water seepage in the walls and carpet in closets, master bedroom and bath. They used a high powered motorized vacuum device, which they rode, to remove all water in the MBR & closet carpet. They removed all baseboard molding, drilled holes through the cabinet bases, and installed Heated, high pressure bellows powered by 7 fans. This remained in place for 30 hours, heating up the downstairs to about 95 degrees, thus drying out the walls, and behind cabinets. Kent left phone numbers and emails where he could be reached. They did not leave until 4:30 AM. On Sunday, they came back and took followup moisture readings. On Monday, the contractor and crew came in and removed all the warped engineered wood flooring, throughout the first floor, so that the concrete slab could properly dry out. Prestige then provided a recommended contractor team which would replace the flooring, baseboards, and one ruined cabinet. Kent was thoroughly professional, explaning everything they found and were doing, They were sensitive and considerate of the stress in our family, and went out of their way to console everyone. The follow-up on Sunday and Monday was outstanding. They treated us like family.
