We hired them for the work because my husband knew about them. They were professional and cleaned up well. Everything turned out great!

At the time Paul Lawton Construction came out we thought his quote was reasonable until we had another company come out. We thought his quote was realistic. I would get a quote from him in the future.

I thought Paul Lawton Construction's price is decent, I was pleased with his fee. He's been in our community for a long time and I haven't heard anything bad about him.

Do plan to schedule you appointment in advance. It was a little over a week before they could get over measure. It was about another week before my estimate was emailed.

While I did not hire this company I would just like to pass along input from my experience of just obtaining a roofing estimate.Mr. Lawton took the longest amount af time in just returning my phone call, 3 days (maybe he had too many other jobs).The main thing however was he brought NO paperwork, the other contractors I interviewed all brought samples of the shingles that they use and provided written estimates and the one I hired even brought insurance documentation. I felt that Mr. Lawton did not seem to care whether or not he got the job which to me is an indication that he would not care as much about the quality of the work either.

Crews arrived at 4:30 AM - worked quickly, efficiently, and congenially - a real team of 5 young men who love their jobs, are really good at them, work as a beautifully coordinated, well mannered, considerate, Christian group.

We were not thrilled with working with this company. Service was slow, communication was not easy, and what should have been able to have been completed in one week dragged on for about a month. There was little coordination to work with our preferred HVAC contractor, and this delayed our getting heat restored to our home during the coldest winter we have had in Charleston in years.
