When we purchased our home, the sellers had "refinished" the bathtub and it looked nice (have no idea if they refinished themselves or had a company do it). After a year, we noticed the finish started to flake off and peel away from the tub. We were gonna try to refinish the tub ourselves, but after reading what went into it...decided this wasn't a job we should do on our own. I looked on Angie's List and I read a bunch of reviews and decided to call Long Life. Tony was very helpful and said he could come out the next day. He gave me directions on how to get my bathroom ready for him to come out and refinish the tub, which was basically just clean from top to bottom and clear out everything. He said it would take anywhere from 4 to 5 hours. He came to our house when he said he would and got straight to work. It was $75 dollars to scrape the old finish and $240 for the refinish of the bathtub. When he was done (4 hrs), he had us inspect his work (which was great) and then he gave us some tips on how to take care of our "NEW" tub. Our bathtub looks brand new and you wouldn't believe that its 60+ years! Call Tony...you won't be disappointed!

So far, they have held up. I’ve had these bathtubs refinished before and they started peeling soon afterwards so I was skeptical about trying again. I am very satisfied with the job. They gave me instructions about not getting it wet for a certain amount of time and everything has worked out. He came when he was supposed to and everything was good. I had one tub done and then the second one about a month later so he gave me a discount on the second one. I called around a few placed and I think I got the best deal.
Description of Work: I used Long Life Refinishing for two bathtubs. He stripped them down, lined them, painted them, and caulked them.
