The technician was very professional and on time for the appointment. I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend Leaf Filter to anyone who wants to stop cleaning gutters.

Gutters were installed in July 2017. The gutters leak. I have contacted them on numerous times to make the repairs. There is a lifetime warranty on the gutters. I have requested 100% refund. No repairs, no refund.

Covers were cheap plastic and gutters leak. Contractors they hire are sloppy.

Work was started promptly (next day) installer did not clean or re-align gutters. leaffilter product did not install correctly due to insufficient overhang of shingles. (13 years old)The salesman never questioned or measured my overhang. installer just installed as rapidly as possible. After stopping installation i was told "thats the way it works". So unless you have the perfect roof & perfect conditions. BE CAREFUL ! It is your responsibility for everything..if it works or not. UPDATE 2-14-18 quickly but very unprofessional , I should have refused to pay or stopped payment on check.I received a call saturday from corp. office, a Mr.William Fields with no agreement. Disagreed with everything i said sitting in a office 1000 miles away. and still no response from the local installer/seller. I paid $25.00 plus per foot for a 2.00 per ft item. I will NOT recommend at all and what good is the warranty if they won,t respond now! much less later if needed.

Contractor has been notified numerous times, at least 5, maybe more. The gutters are leaking behind, between the building/house and the gutter, water is coming out of the ends, water is coming over the top. I attempt to call the phone numbers, now they won't answer my calls, constantly rings. I have changed my plans two different days waiting on someone to come here and make the repairs. NO SHOW. They've lied and said they were coming here twice to make repairs. NO SHOW. One man did come and made attempts to make repairs but the problems are still there. I would not recommend these people at all to do any work. Today, 8/16/2017, almost a month after installation, gutters are useless.

The installer was professional and really took his time to do the job correctly. I had looked at other gutters that claim to keep from clogging but eventually went to Leaf Filter because it was rated #1 in Consumer Reports magazine. This company also installed the gutters in less than a week after I got the estimate. The other companies told me it would be four to five weeks before they could install.

I was repeatedly called following my initial contact and had a meeting with the sales person at my house and we talked about the plan and the price and at first I was excited about the prospects. He claimed that whenever there is a problem they show up within 48hrs to fix it and they always get the job done well. This, it turns out, is not the case. The first installation guy shows up about 2 months ago and proceeds to nearly destroy the gutter on the back of the house, drill holes in the new aluminum facia on the siding, get dark fingerprints all over the clean gutters, and proceed to leave the job not complete. He shows up expecting us to provide some of the pieces for the gutters, which was a ridiculous proposition considering we were paying for the service to be done by the provider. When he leaves the back gutter is not fully attached and within a day a big rain comes and rips it off the house and causes water to leak all inside the ceiling on the back porch. The smaller 7' run that was supposed to be attached to the longer one is only attached by one screw and hangs off the house for the next month. Another guy shows up about a week later and attaches exposed, untreated wood to the back of the gutter on the back of the house to provide something strong to attach to, but is already causing stains from the tanins in the wood on the white siding of the house. After this is done the managerial guys are supposed to come on Friday, about two weeks after initial appointment, to fix and complete the sub-par job that the other worker had done. My wife and I were out of the country with my brother here, and when we return 10 days after they are supposed to be here the gutter is still hanging off the roof, water is entering ceiling and unsealed part of roof, and no messages from LeafFilter are anywhere to be found. I contact them the next day, and more than a week later something actually gets done. They attach the small gutter but, again, the job is incomplete, there is an opening at the end of the gutter with the runoff entering the unsealed part of my roof. This was supposed to be a closed system and the installation guy gives me all sorts of excuses about his work. After further contact with the company and the various people involved they claim that the crew chief and another guy are going to come and finish the job, clean the gutters, and repair the seals and sloppy work. They come and fix the short gutter, and seem to have fixed the holes in the sealant. But, after closer inspection, I see that the filter screen used on the back gutters is completely different from the front ones and is NOT the SURGICAL GRADE STAINLESS STEEL that I was promised when I agreed to the project which is the most frustrating part of this experience. The oak tassles have already gotten into the larger gauge screen and caused problems. I have pictures to prove all of these negative experiences and will certainly never work with LeafFilter again.

They responded to my call immediately because I was in a hurry due to damage caused to my (then new) property due to erosion. I also had overflow issues because the original gutters were not the right type and improperly positioned. I do not recall which office they were from SC or Charlotte NC (I live just over the border in SC. The manager personally came to my house, reviewed the situation explained the options and committed that they would resolve my issues, and have their team begin immediately (on a weekend) if I signed the contract. The included removing all the original gutters, installing new larger proper gutters, fabricating a custom color for a portion of the install, plus installing gutter guards everywhere. They delivered on all promises, did excellent work, and everything works well still. I have very happy with them.

Installer arrived when scheduled. We were told that there would be two installers but only one came. The expectation was that the job would be completed in one day. He was courteous and knowledgeable. He worked hard all day in an attempt to complete the job that day but could not. He had to call his manager who got a room for him in a local motel for the evening. He returned the next day to complete the work but ran out of materials before completing the job. Apparently the job was underestimated. An installer would have to return for a third day of work. When I didn't get a call from LeafFilter after two days about when they would return, I called them. An installer came the next day and completed the job. The job was done cleanly with no damage to our landscaping. We have not had a heavy rain since the installation and most of the leaves for the season are already down, so it will be hard to judge the effectiveness at this point but we believe this is a quality system. Our only issues were with the installation experience.

We got price quotes from the major "leaf guard/gutter helmet" type companies and went to the Columbia Home Show at the SC State Fairgrounds to see the demonstrations to determine which product really worked best, because we were tired of having to get the gutters cleaned all the time (expensive and/or time-consuming, dirty and dangerous). LEAF FILTER's demonstration and quality (stainless steel mesh) proved to be the best by far and their quote was on par with the others. I did think it was expensive since they just install the covering to our existing gutters, rather than replacing the entire gutters, and the whole job just took a couple of hours, but we've gotten a lot of really heavy rain this summer and the gutters seem to be working well. There is one place where the water flows over the gutter, but it's in a corner that has lots of water channeled to that area, so really nothing will prevent that from happening during a very heavy downpour. We had to wait for other work on our home's exterior to be completed prior to having this work done, and Leaf Filter kept in touch regularly to see how everything was progressing, and as soon as we could schedule the work, they came right away and did it quickly and cleanly.
