ZERO STARS FROM ME!!!! Called on Monday for an appointment on Wednesday. Took the day from work. No email, phone call, or text. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! I scheduled an appointment from a much more reputable company and immediately received an email and a text confirming the appointment. SMH!!!

On Friday 11/20 I called and spoke with a lady. I asked her if she could schedule me sometime Tuesday the 24th. She replied that she had not set her schedule for next week yet and to call her back Monday morning. I asked her if I could not go ahead and schedule now- rather hesitantly she said that she would check her schedule and call me back later in the day. I did not get a return call that day On Monday I did not hear from her first thing so at 9:45 I called and left a message regarding Tuesday and would she please call me back. It is now 7:20 PM and I have yet to get a call back. I also mentioned that I am a referral from a current customer. I guess since she didn’t have any room for me in her schedule she decided it wasn’t important to call me back. Very unprofessional.

The gentleman was at my home in 2.5 minutes from his call. I showed them that the hot water heater was located on the was outside. They immediately went to work. I felt like the pilot light has been blown out by a storm we had several days ago. He immediately checked the pilot light and sure enough it was out. He pushed some buttons and the unit relight itself. This was the second time in several weeks that workmen came to my home. We had a new dishwasher to be installed but first some fixtures had to be added under the sink to enable the dishwasher to be installed up to code. This gentleman was very quick and was very courteous along with his apprentice. I would recommend Melfi Plumbing without hesitation to everybody as an "A+" company for your Plumbing needs.

Prompt Response to initial phone call. Complexity of the job was too much for first plumber and available time. Failed to show or call for the 2nd appointment. When "I" called them was told that they were not able to make it that day. We rescheduled for the next day. 3rd day they were early and very professional. I was kept advised of the status of repair at all times. I was given excellent information to make the necessary decisions to progress with the repair. The complexity could have required removing the light fixture from the kitchen ceiling and then ceiling removal. Due to the skill of the lead plumber this was not necessary. I was thoroughly satisfied with the caliber of the plumbers and the quality of their work. I felt the price charged was very reasonable and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for further plumbing work.

When I found my water tank erupting, Melfi was there in no time - extracted the holding tank, cleaned up all the water, and helped me find a new tankless water heater that could be purchased & installed the same day. The "big box" stores couldn't get one for 4-5 days. I couldn't be more pleased with the quick and thorough service. Altho' I live in Charleston and Melfi's HQ is in Summerville, they came in record time & they'll be the ONLY plumbing service I'll ever use. Five stars for sure! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

They came within two hours of us calling them and had the problem resolved within 5 minutes. Very nice!

Called Melfi Plumbing on Tuesday, April 28th, for an appointment on Friday May 1st after 1:00 P.M. I called several days ahead so that I could guarantee I had a plumber on that Friday, since I would not be available at the home until 1:00 on Friday. I thought all was setup. To my surprise I get a call my elderly Mother saying somebody showed up and was escorted upstairs. I asked who it was and my Mother said she didn't really know. The female companion with my Mother had let the Melfi Plumbers upstairs to work on the toilet issue. The problem was it was NOT Friday at 1:00, instead it was Thursday at 2:45. I did not receive any call from Melfi saying they were on their way an entire day early. It wasn't until I could get one of the plumbers on the phone that I realized who they were. While on this phone call I could here my Mother screaming that ti was raining in the kitchen from upstairs. I asked the plumber if they flushed the upstairs toilet and they said yes. I pointed out that if they had come when expected I would have been there to warn them that we had already flooded the kitchen with dirty toilet water once already and to NOT flush the toilet. The toilet not only was badly plugged but it had been installed incorrectly a week before and when flushed it leaked badly around the base and onto the floor and down the wall into the kitchen. It had taken hours to clean up the kitchen, with bleach, the first time. The plumber from Melfi apologized and promised they would be back at !:00 the following day. I waited the entire day on Friday and they never called nor did they come back. Very unprofessional.

Original request for service was sent through Angie's list message, but got no response, so called Melfi by phone, and got an appointment in 2 business days. Crew showed up on time, worked quickly, but carefully. No mess left behind: soil dug up to find leak was later replaced. Charge was reasonable for the work. This is the way plumbing repairs should be. I recommend this crew.

Had an emergency at another house and called to ask if he ( Nick) could come a little later, which was fine. Very polite and thorough and knowledgeable. Highly recommend

Arrived within and hour of the telephone call. Unstopped the sewer , Examined the line with a camera and replaced the damaged pipe. I have used Melfi Plumbing several times and have always been pleased.

Tommy Melfi and his staff and employees were absolutely wonderful to work with!! They were there when they said they would be and went above and beyond to provide outstanding service.

This provider has an excellent reputation locally so I was disappointed they couldn't do the work I required. I would definitely call them again if I had plumbing problems.

Definitely will call this company again when I am ready to replace toilets,etc... Tech was courteous, explained all, cleaned up after himself.. called at 9:45, and the tech was here by 12:30 and finished up at 3:30... Mr. Weathers was a fine representative of his company.

The two professionals Tommy sent out was Nick and Mike. They did a great job. They were very professional, they scoped out the problem and went straight to work. What a relief to have our water back on . You don't know how much you miss it until it is gone. These guys do a good job, if you need any plumbing done give them a call. You won't go wrong. We would like to say Thank you to the staff at Melfi. What a great group of guys.

Melfi Plumbing has done a lot of minor plumbing repairs over the years for our business. He has always been prompt and courteous. They have always completed the job quickly and for a reasonable price.

Tommy Melfi was extremely accommodating and punctual. He gave us different ideas for the counter top and where the best savings would be. His crew was right on time and very friendly

Great. I did not have to stay with them constantly. They did a thorough job and cleaned up after themselves.

We were so pleased with them. We downsized and bought an older house and they came and did several things for us. They did a great job. I am pretty sure that we got them from Angie's List. We were very pleased with their price. When they finished putting in the dishwasher, they even put a strip of hardwood in front of it. They said that it will finish it off and it looked beautiful. They did not have to do that because that was way beyond their work. They had also done hardwood floors for us before. They are really good and their price is reasonable. Their price also included the toilet. They were here pretty much for a day and that was good. I will call them again in the future. I see them out here and I think that they are well known in the community.

The line to our water heater broke and we had a major flood. They came the very next morning and repaired the pipe and replaced the water heater. Very professional, changed out the pipes to help avoid any future problems. Did the job quickly to get our water back on. Will. All on them again with future plumbing problems.

They deserve an excellent rating. These guys when they went and put it in, one of the heating vents got disconnected and the guy was up there. I have a maintenance company for the heat and I called them up right away and they said they would not fix it because it was disconnected, it was crushed. I called the company up and told them this and they said we'll get somebody out there right away. They did, they reconnected the heating system and on top of that they paid the $75 dollars service call from the heating company. You can't get any better than that. They reimburse me for the $75 the heating company charged me for the deductible. They paid the bill for it because it was their technician crushed the heating thing. They had a guy go out there and fix it. They took care of that charge and reimbursed me the $75 service fee that I got charged. I was very happy with them, I will use them again.

Work was performed the next day due to emergency type of situation (they pushed back another job that was scheduled for that day). The one thing I did not like was they told me I would have to do my own sheet rock work after they were already cutting holes in the wall! Other than that they did a very good job getting the work done in a timely manner.

I have used these guys numerous times since moving to South Carolina in July. This house has had number plumbing issues. The employees are very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I always enjoy their upbeat and we can fix it attitudes. The bill is never a heart stopper and they never make me wait to get someone here to fix the issue. The office staff is wonderful too, they are professional, kind and never rude when you phone in. I wish we could take them everywhere we move.
