contractor came to our home to review scope of work. He said he would get back with us by the end of the week. He would not return phone calls or texts. Was finally informed that too much work out there (what a blessing) and our job too small. Would have been nice to know this from the beginning.

Owner & roofers showed up on time as promised. The owner was on our job checking on the workers on & off all day. Roof was installed in 3 days. Clean up was good. Guarantee was given they would return at no extra cost if there were any problems with the new roof.

The work was excellent and the owner came to make sure that we were satisfied with the new roof. Those putting up the roof were very polite and professional.

They came out and gave an estimate that was more in-depth than the other companies that came out. The quote came with upgraded felt and water barrier that other companies were charging extra for. They also included all the plywood at no additional cost. When they came to preform the work they were on time and completed the work in one day. When they left the only sign that they had been here was a new roof and sign in the yard. All trash had been removed and they made several passes all day keeping it cleaned up.

Billy Martin showed up right on time and got to work with his crew. His workers all showed professionalism and respect for our house and ourselves. They removed the old roofing materials and replaced 7 sheets of plywood that was compromised by water damage. We bought this house in 2014 and it was built in 1999. The roof HOMEWERX removed was the original one. Of the four estimates we got, HOMEWERX was not only the best quality for our buck but the only company that would replace (as part of the roofing job) any plywood for free. The job was completed in one day. Very impressive. Frank Speck, who represents HOMEWERX and came to our home to talk about an estimate showed up to see how it was going. Billy Martin, the owner, also was here most of the day. He was even helping his crew on small things. It was like a company would have been run in "The Old Days." My wife and I would highly recommend HOMEWERX for a reliable job. They are top notch people that represent a top notch company!

Approximately 8 yrs ago Billy Martin's Homewerx crew replaced my roof. I have a very steep roof on the front of the house with a shed roof in the back. They did a very very good job including heavy protection around the fireplace. They came when they said they would, did the work and cleaned up afterward. They swept the yard several times with magnets to be sure to get any stray nails up. Now it is 8 years later and a couple shingles came loose on the front very steep roof. Billy came out and replaced those couple and a few more that were not so noticeable as a preventative. ALL WITH NO CHARGE as part of his warranty. I would never have anyone else do work on my roof as I know I can trust him to be an honest businessman.

They were great to deal with. I had no issues whatsoever. The sales rep was really nice. They're prompt.

He is very good. He uses the best GAF machines and he is reasonably priced. He has been in business since 2003. I think Billy Martin is the owner. He sent one of his estimators out to give us a price. He gave us a price and a big discount. I got a good price on the shingles and did it all in one day. It’s the best looking house in the area. After the job was complete, he knocked on the door and asked if he could talk with us for a little while. He got to be a good friend and asked permission to put his son in the yard.

It ended up well but here is what I didn't like. I talked to the owner Billy, who sent Frank out to do the quote and get the job scheduled. No problems there. On the day of the job I saw Billy in the morning and gave him half down, then the Mexican crew went to work. I feel it's fair to mention that they were all Mexican, we prefer to buy and hire American. Frank came out that day and assured me everything was fine but I was very unhappy that he told me I had to calm down and asked if I had a bad experience with another contractor in the past (which I did) and he told me I had to stop and was annoyed (I was asking if things were going they way they should be as I didn't see them ripping up all the old paper as was explained to me, but rather getting the white paper down quickly). I felt very upset when he said that because where I come from the customer is always right. I called Billy but did not get an answer back and even texted Frank to see about getting a price on a couple windows. and I was told that he "would get to me" , well bless his heart. He never did contact me back again for the windows and we don't want them back out here when they treat people that way. Maybe it's because I'm a woman, who knows, but women DO talk to their husbands, and many, like me, make the hiring decisions.. and write the ratings. They did clean up most of the nails very well, we only found a few. GAF was late inspecting the roof (2 months late ~that was not communicated to us) Nice looking roof if you can stand Frank and don't mind hiring Mexicans. I really have nothing personal against them I will always ask on large jobs going forward. So, in short, the roof gets an A and the rest is just disappointing.

Frank Speck, representing Homewerx, came by promptly after our problem started shortly after we arrived in our home in Summerville, SC from New York State. After the estimate, Billy Martin stopped by with three workers and replaced and sealed two vent boots. About three weeks later during a big storm, the leak reappeared. We called and told Billy Martin the leak returned and he came by again at no charge to find and fix the problem. The second time seems to have stopped the leak. It is a roof that in a couple years will need new shingles, but Billy and his crew genuinely cared about getting the problem fixed. At this point, the leak has stopped. Mr Martin told me that if there's a problem to call him and he'd take care of it. He is a good man of business and we're glad we chose Homewerx to fix the roof. I'd highly recommend Billy Martin and Homewerx for anyone needing help. Free estimetes and they were there when I needed them. Other calls were either unreturned or the job would not be done for days or in some cases, weeks. Homewerx worked for us!!

Frank came to my house to give me an estimate for repairing my roof where a raccoon had opened it up. He called me right back, came out within a couple of days of calling. Even came a little bit early, but called first to make sure it was ok. very pleasant. I didn't go with him because of the cost of his estimate.

Arrived as scheduled and completed as agreed. GREAT JOB! Prompt and very professional. We love the color coordination. My neighbors have given compliments. We've seen two persons copying information from the Homewerx sign in the yard. Job well done!

They were nice, they were efficient, they got in there, they got it done and they have women in there crew. They were good, they were very expensive but he did a very good estimate, they told me exactly everything he were going to do and gave me a written proposal and he's the only one who did that. They did a couple of things we didn't agree to do because the tree in my house fell and they repaired that without charging me.

We spent $8000. The quality was good and the tiles had a good housekeeping seal. They were not the cheapest but they were in the mid range. I felt like the quality of their product was added security. The owner was a jerk one time when he came out. Because the house was old and there was a lot of people working here we had some issues where the ceiling cracked and came off. My husband mentioned it to him and he gave him an attitude and threatened not to do the work. I wasn't here.

Done great job area cleaned up roof on looks great. A year ago they done my house roof also great job, this is why I called them for the shed.

I called Homewerx because of their A ratings in Angie's list and I wasn't disappointed. They returned my call promptly. Looked at my roof and gave me an estimate within 2 days. On the scheduled date for repair, they arrived on time and completed the work in one day. I couldn't be more pleased with their quick response and professionalism.

I called and within an hour he came and checked for the problem. There was water on my window sill and he didn't think it was a roofing problem. Might be due to wind direction and clogged leaf guards. He said to call him if it continued. I will definitely use them and refer to my friends.

They arrived on time and had the job completed early. They did a great job! They cleaned up everything and made it a very easy experience.

The owner returned my call within hours. He came out the next day to take a look. He gave me a quote on the spot. Within a week, they came back to fix the issue. It was a pretty simple job. They were done in about 30 minutes, but it was worth the $300 not to climb up on the roof and risk breaking my neck. When I asked, they also gave me a ballpark estimate for roof replacement and an idea of how many years I had left in my current roof. I appreciated this because I think many companies could try to pressure you into a roof replacement right away. When it comes time to replace my roof, I'll definitely call them.

I was very impressed with Homewerx. Mr. Frank Speck gave us detailed information and spent time going over all the particulars of the roof replacement. He was very professional and helpful. We decided to use Homewerx over the other roofers we got quotes from mainly because of their up-front pricing. The two other contractors we got quotes from charge for additional plywood so the final cost could have been more than what was quoted. We had no idea how much plywood would be needed as we had a leak in a couple of places. The roof replacement went smoothly and the workers completed the work on time and despite some rain. They worked really hard and did a great job cleaning up after. They even took care to move my plants and feeders so they wouldn't get damaged. Mr. Billy Martin went over the work with me after it was completed and I thought that was very nice. The price was as agreed and I was very happy with the whole experience.

Billy Martin, the owner, showed up about 7:00 AM and set everything up for his crew. His crew showed up shortly after he did and immediately went to work. I have never met a harder working group of people in my life! Mr. Martin stayed and worked with his crew all day long! Frank Speck (my salesperson) and Dan Edwards (foreman) were here most of the day too. The price was an all-inclusive price so there were NO hidden charges. Their work was impeccable! They worked until the job was done. After they completed the job they all cleaned up every speck of debris and went over my yard at least a dozen times with magnets to ensure there were no nails left behind. I cannot say enough GOOD about everyone that was here today INCREDIBLE work and business ethics. I would not hesitate to recommend them! I will have them back to do more work at my home. We have been very happy with everything from start to finish. We had received 4 estimates with different companies and although Homewerx was a little higher then the lowest estimate, it was the professionalism and knowledge we received in the beginning that made us decide on them. Dan sat down with us for at least 20 minutes to go over every detail and products that would be used. They called a few days later to set up the time to do the job even earlier then the original date and did a superb job. They had a clean up crew that kept our yard and porches spotless from any nails or trash. We are so happy with the whole process and highly recommend Homewerx.
