They were not pushy like one of the companies. Very down to earth. Were willing to work with me on the price as well as speak directly with my insurance company. They were professional, on time and polite. I would recommend them to those who need a new roof.

David Hixon was kind, courteous and on time. He went above and beyond the call of duty. He replaced some of my shingles that were blown off during a recent hurricane. While he was up there, he inspected a (and secured) other loose shingles on the roof. He was out in about 1.5 hours. Steep roof on a three story building too. I recommend him highly.

We had roof damage from the hurricane in September and got a horrible adjuster and insurance settlement. David helped us get a second adjuster out, even made some of the calls to our insurance company and met the second adjuster at our home to point out where the problems were. We got a second adjustment check that was more than the first thanks to David's help. David Hixon is very customer oriented and was refreshing to work with.

Did what was required to correct problem

Well I had a very stubborn leak around a vent pipe. Without going into a lot of details. This was a very trick leak, that would not stop no matter what we tried. Hixon Roofing however would not give up until the leak was stopped. They had to make several trips but in the end. They were very affordable, quick to respond, and determined to ensure that the job was completed successfully.

Very prompt response to my request for a fairly minor roof leak repair. In the course of the repair, David found several other points of roof leakage and sealed those. I will be considering Hixon's when the time comes to replace the roof.

Hixon's Roofing responding quickly to my request for an estimate and, ultimately to replacing the roof. David's crew was prompt, courteous, and, most of all, efficient. They cleared the shingles of the old roof, put in new flashing where there were leaks, replaced outdated exhaust vents, and installed shingles in 2.5 days. They could have been finished earlier except for the extreme day-time high temperatures. When finished with the roofing they cleaned up the surrounding area and only missed a few nails and clips. Overall a very professional job and I would be happy to recommend David Hixon to anyone who needs a roof repaired or replaced.

David patched my roof in 4 or 5 places. He was very prompt in calling me and in setting up an appointment after I decided to hire him over others. Just have to wait till the next storm to see if the shingles remain in place.
