Description of Work: We need an aluminum fence repaired. It required one section to be replaced. The job was small but Ross treated us like we were hiring him for a large job. He was professional, friendly, responsive and his work was excellent. Ross has great work ethics. We would recommend him highly.

Description of Work: Ross stained and waterproofed our fence. I thought the cost was reasonable after getting a few other estimates. I guess everything costs more than we think it will; but I must admit that it was a much more labor intensive job than I thought it would be, after I saw how it was done. He worked diligently and kept me informed until the job was done. I plan to use him for other projects.

Description of Work: We found ourselves in an emergency situation after one of our rental houses was broken into. I called after regular office hours and Ross repsonded right away. He made time in his schedule the next morning and was kind enough to meet me at the hardware store to pick out the door and supplies for the job. He did an excellent job installing the door, door knob, and deadbolt and did it in record time. I've dealt with a lot of contractors and I was really impressed with this company's professional and attention to detail. When he was finished he checked everythng again, cleaned up the mess, hauled away the old door, and even killed a few spiders for me. It just doesn't get much better than that. I can guarentee you that his handywork will be my go-to company from now on.

 + -1 moreRoss of HIS Handiwork prepared each room area for painting. This included proper drop cloths, ladders and scaffolding (as needed). We purchased the paint even though he had the opportunity to buy it and add his overhead. He worked alone, quietly and focused on the task at hand. He showed up every day at the beginning of the work day. He worked until the end of the work day with only a break for lunch. He cleaned up every day even if he were coming back to that room the next day. During the job, we added extra areas for him to paint when we saw the quality of his work. Ross is so trustworthy and honest that we frequently left the house while he painted alone. We even gave him a key for days when we would be gone early in the morning. I have recommended Ross to many neighbors and friends. Several have contacted him for painting and carpentry. There are several other home improvement projects that I will be giving to Ross of HIS Handiwork.
Description of Work: Ross of HIS Handiwork painted all the interior rooms in our new home. The builder only used flat white on the walls. We wanted each room and all hallways painted with colors of our choice. Over a period of several weeks, Ross painted each room including the family room with a high wall under a vaulted ceiling. Ross did all the work himself. We did compete his quote. There were some who were cheaper; but they spray painted. We did not want spray paint in our furnished home. His was the best of the brush and roller painters.
