Hernandez Concrete Design

Called for estimate and Mr. Hernandez showed up very quickly. He took measurements, asked some questions, and gave me a verbal quote. This was followed up by a written quote via email at my request. Work was scheduled and forms were put in on the date and time specified. The work was delayed due to rain and some minor changes were made at my request. Cement truck showed up at 7:30 am on the scheduled day and everything was finished by 1:00 pm. Workers brought sheets of plywood to minimize damage to lawn at side of house. We are very pleased with the result.

I had to pursue them with the communication end. They answered the telephone but did not show up specifically to bid the job or set up the job when they said. It was all solved by a follow up query telephone call from me each time . They were cordial when on the job. They also put in the forms not exactly where I wanted as they came sooner than I expected and I had not marked where I wanted the forms.I called and we met and they changed the forms without complaints or extra cost. They completed the job when they said and did a wonderful professional job. They also put in a small paver patio.

The end result was awesome and looks just like tile. This company does a professional job and takes pride in their work. I had to be very patient with them as the communications were lacking. I was not in a rush to get the job done but they showed up without notice and left without speaking with us. This resulted in them having to come back out to reframe the job because they came when we were nowhere near town and it was not what we discussed the first time. I would definitely use this company again because the quality of work outweighs any dissatisfaction I might have with the process.

Did a fantastic job in all areas. Very professional team. The stamped concrete design, coloring, and sealing exceeded our expectations!

Tried to get an estimate and the person could not speak english very well and tried to spell my address and could not get it right. Did not act very professional.

My wife and I are VERY pleased with the work. We had a stamped concrete walkway installed on the front of the house and a stamped concrete patio installed on the back of our house. We did have a minor schedulig mishap but the project was completed with in the time frame Augustine had told me. We priced another contractor but Henandez was a little cheaper and we felt more comfortable with his information and details when providing our quote. Once work was begun we did decide to change the layout of the front walk which added some labor to remove part of our existing walk and additional concrete. When we discussed the final bill Agustine kept his oiginal price, we felt that was unfair and gave him a bonus to cover the costs. The entire job was completed professionally and with great quality. The crew made sure that the area around the work was cleaned up when the job was done. Everyone who was working on this project was friendly, polite, and professional. We recommend looking at all the photos of Agustines work. He recommended a border around each area and we were pleased with the idea. He took the time to show us options which we appreciated especially when we saw our completed walk way and patio. Agustines patience and willingness to provide the product you want made it obvious why he get's the ratings he does on Angie's List.

Very expeditious with original contract (referred by assoctiate wife works with), design and quote w/in a day, all others took 2-3 days more, easy to make mods with, showed us cosmetic work they had done (ref. friends job) and they were nice to be flexible with us while waiting on HOA Variance Authority. Once authority granted, they came the next week, worked half to six hours/day starting at 8am and were there, 0800 - 1300 Mon/Tues and 1100 - 1400 Wednesday. DIdn't bother animals, kept clean workplace, left street driveway area clean and removed all broken up concrete and stacked pavers against house. The work was done clean, well and quickly- Dogs were back out Thursday in the back. The design was superb, the detail on the topping of the stamped areas is excellent and the dye patina looks natural not too bright or glossy. They said they will come back and reinspect at about 4 weeks to check sealant and dye. Professional work, weren't asking to use bathrooms (although had they needed) or anything else. This stamped and dyed concrete is fantastic and these guys really did a bang up job.

It went quite well overall, completed in one day. They did have to drive over my lawn (unfortunately a necessity), leaving deep tire impressions which I will have to repair myself.

I contacted them by phone, and they answered by "Hello", then handed the phone to someone else. They scheduled me for after 1pm on 7/23/13, and when I asked him if he needed my name or other information, he said he had my phone number on caller ID. No one showed up or called. Needless to say: I WILL USE SOME OTHER COMPANY.

CONTRACTOR SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID AN ACCEPTABLE JOB.

Fantastic. They did everything that they said they would do and on schedule. When it rained and washed some of the stamped concrete stain away, they returned to check (without our asking or calling) and redid the stain! Needless to say, I was very impressed.

Contacted us promptly, provided an estimate, obtained building permit after we received HOA approval, performed work per contract, kept us advised of planned scheduling.

The patio looks great, it honestly looks like it's real stone, which is what I was hoping for. They lay the patio, stamp it, and come back to 'grout' in a different color to make it natural. Then put a sealant on top. Mr. Hernandez and team did a great job - I would use him again, and might for some small concrete work in the front of the house. My only nick might be that the warranty for the patio is 3 months, it's hard to grade the durability/quality at this point as it was just put down. In terms of looks - everything is great.

Augustin Hernandez and his crew do exceptional work. When I called for a quote, Augustin came that day, looked at what I wanted done and gave me a very favorable quote. The work was done quickly and very professionally. The end product looks fantastic. When the work was completed, the crew did an excellent clean up job. I would definitely use this company again.

Very prompt response to my call, came an made a proposal, then was able to execute the work within about a week. Installed the forms one day -- poured, finished and cleaned up the next. Not an overly complex project but very professional, well done.

They answered the phone and were professional. They asked me to text them my address and said that they would come out to take a look at the worksite later that day at around 5 PM and give us a quote (I told him that I would not be present at the time, and he said that this would be fine). The next day, at 2 PM, I got a call from them that I missed because I was with family. I called them back at 4 PM when I saw that I had missed the call, expecting to get a quote; instead, the guy said that he did not come out the previous day, and also did not come out today; apparently he was in the area around 2 PM and decided to call once instead of just coming by as per the plan. I regret that this service provider had a problem with following the course of action that he himself recommended, and failed to notify or apologize when this problem presented itself, then failed once again to make amends the next day. I will take my business to someone else who takes their work more seriously.

They did a great job, they were very tidy. His machine for bringing the concrete to the backyard left no damage to the grass. He gave us instructions for how long to wait before driving over the new concrete and even marked it off with caution tape to keep anyone else from driving on the concrete until it had fully cured.

Agustin was always professional and answered the phone. He showed up on time and was easy to work with as he never complained about anything. He had professional workers completing the work and they did a good job.

My overall experience was great I wish more companies had the level of professionalism that Mr. Hernandez and his crew have. I have some friends who came over and couldn't believe the job they did. I would highly recommend anybody that needs any concrete work performed to give them a call.

Mr. Hernandez came out and gave me an estimate. At the time it was raining almost every day. He came back as soon as the weather cleared and removed the old slab. The clean-up was excellent. The next day he and his crew was back and poured the slab. It is an 8' X 12', 4" thick slab. I would highly recommed Mr. Hernandez to any one who needs any type of concrete work.

IT went GREAT! The company was very detailed and easy to work with. They busted out an exciting slab and built a new one about 8 inches higher than higher than the last.

Mr. Hernandez promptly gave me an estimate when he said he would. He called and we scheduled the work. He and his crew were there on time for both the preparation visit and the actual pouring/finishing of the concrete. He and his crew cleaned up the site after finishing the work. It was an excellent experience - I just wish all contractors were as good. I have no reservation in recommending Mr. Hernandez.

Augustine Hernandez and his crew are true professional artisans. They were always here when they said they would be and did what they said they would do. They are most pleasant and always cleaned up behind themselves. We are SO pleased with our beautiful new patio! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of concrete work done. We would definitely call on them again.

He did an excellent job. Very please with his work an punctuality. If I ever need any other concrete work done, I will definately call him first. Highly recommend.

AMAZING!!! Could not ask for a better operation. Did amazing work and I sit outside on my new beautiful patio as I type this. What a great deal and what great craftsmanship. More than pleased. Really could not ask for anything better. I highly recommend Augustine for ANY and ALL concrete work.
