Description of Work: Mr Hernandez was extremely profession from his guidance in laying out our concrete patio (river pebble look) to choosing the brick edging, to careful grading and leveling of the soil, to an on-time pouring of the concrete with a very careful crew, to clean-up, to a return visit to assure all was satisfactory. We LOVE our new patio and would hire Mr Hernandez again for any further work!

Description of Work: Their team showed up and evaluated the expansion we wanted for our patio. Quoted a fair price. They showed up early and removed the old concrete and was ready to pour the new but checked with us to make sure we were on the same page we needed to be a bit bigger and it was no problem they cleared out additional space and laid the form. The next morning they poured the concrete and the job was done and the they even hauled off the old concrete. Would definitely recommend Hernandez and his crew.

Description of Work: I fired the first person we had (Decorative Concrete) for lack of follow through. Hernandez came, did what he said he would, did an excellent job in a timely fashion for less the price of the original contractor. Would recommend him without any hesitation!

Description of Work: I had to call probably 3 times to schedule an estimate. Someone finally called me back and set up a time, but they did not show for the appointment or call to cancel/reschedule. I tried to call them again, a few times, but the voicemail box was full every time.

+ 0 moreThe owner was prompt for his estimate and then kept in touch with me as the rain delayed the actual pour a few days. Once the weather broke, they were on it and didn't stop until it was done. During the forming I had a few questions that were honestly answered and adjusted my estimate up wards a few bucks. Overall, if I need concrete work done...I'll call him again. Very satisfied and so is my wife, which is what really matters.
Description of Work: Had an estimate from them for approx $1650 to do one large patio, surrounding an existing screen porch. They removed old landscaping, dug the hole, formed the deck and poured it. They did an outstanding job of not tearing the h*** out of the rest of the lawn and cleaned up whatever sod/debris was left. They also hosed off the driveway on the way out.

+ 0 moreExcellent. Showed up on time every time. Provided a quick estimate lower than several other contractors. Agreed to start within a few days. He called the day before originally scheduled to delay due to rain being forecast for the day. Good thing too, as it would have ruined his work otherwise. Showed up promptly at 7AM the next day, knocked out the job by 4PM. Left no trace that he was there other than a beautiful new patio and sidewalk. Definitely recommended.

+ 0 moreHernandez was literally the 7th concrete person we contacted. He was the only one who could guarantee the work would be done in time for our party. In fact, when I asked when he could start on it, he asked if tomorrow would be OK to start. What? Wow. He had brochures to look at, as well as pictures of his completed work. I didn't bother to ask for references...actually didn't think of it, I was just so excited someone might be able to complete our project. After searching the catalogs and pictures and not finding exactly what I was thinking of, I found a picture of the type of patio I liked. He said he could "free hand" it to look exactly as I wanted. I was skeptical, but he sketched it out on the concrete so I could kind of see what he had in mind. I liked what I saw and we went with it. So glad we did as it looks just like I had hoped. So within one week of meeting him, our patio has been completed! We've hired a landscape designer as well and when she saw his work, she asked for his name to give out to her clients. Our neighbor loves the patio as well. It really exceeded our expectations and we are already asking him for estimates for some tile work we'd like to have done. Final note: The estimate was higher because we used a garden hose to mark out what we wanted and more concrete was necessary to match our design. We were expecting it to go up from what he gave us-- even so, the final price was still quite a bit lower than all of our other estimates.
