Description of Work: Missed the first estimate appointment because of traffic problems - not an issue. Then promised to come the next day and asked what I wanted painted. I told Jimmy just the trim. He never showed, never called, nothing. I called his office and left message with his assistant to have him call me. Never happened. Apparently job wasn't big enough for Freshcoat to bother with. A company that treats a potential customer like this won't be in business very long.

First, I would like to say that EVERY client or potential client is important to Fresh Coat of Charleston, and there is no job/project that is too small. Customer service is of the utmost importance to us, and we strive to exceed our client's expectations in every way. This is evidenced by our excellent reviews and A rating on Angie's List. It was an unfortunate circumstance that prevented me from making my appointment with Mr. [Member Name Removed]. There was a closed bridge due to a diesel fuel spill that kept me from being able to reach the client's home, and I promptly made him aware of the situation. Being that it was unavoidable, Mr. [Member Name Removed] was understanding and agreed that I could drop by the next time I was in the area. It seems that there was a misunderstanding between that client and myself as to when this visit would take place. I did not make another appointment at the time due to my booked schedule, but I guess I didn't make this clear to the Mr. [Member Name Removed] and for that, I apologize. As for the phone call made to my office, the message was never relayed to me. Since, reading this review I have tried to access where the breakdown in communication took place. As I said, client satisfaction is a top priority for Fresh Coat of Charleston. Even though I didn't meet Mr. [Member Name Removed] and we never performed any work for the client, I am terribly sorry that he had such a negative experience with my company. I welcome the opportunity to serve Mr. [Member Name Removed] on any future projects that he may have.

Description of Work: We needed to have our stairwell to the upstairs painted. Jimmy returned my call the same day and came the next day to give an estimate. We felt that his estimate was very fair for the job. Since it was a small job, he was able to get us scheduled quickly; within a couple days. | |Oilbin and Brandon came promptly at 8:00AM and quickly went to work. They were very professional and did a great job. When they finished, Jimmy came and Inspected their work. |We were very pleased with the work and would recommend them to anyone. Great Job.

Hi [member name removed], Thank you for allowing us to work for you. The rooms did turn out excellent! Unfortunately, there are times when we may be delayed due to unforeseen challenges: car trouble, weather, etc. In this case, when I found out that one of my team members was running a little behind, I made sure to call right away and explain the circumstances. Also, because of our commitment to customer service excellence sometimes a third coat of paint is needed or desired due to color choice or preference. In this case, after a coat of primer was applied and then a finish coat we all agreed that a third coat was needed which extended the job by two hours causing us to stay until 7pm. Fortunately though, the job was finished in 1 day as promised. It was a pleasure working with Mr. L and he was extremely happy with the job performed. Please take the time to read our many previous "A" rated reviews. We look forward to working with [member name removed] in the future and our many previous and future Angie's List clients.
