Diego and his team were excellent,showing up on time and install the beautiful ceramic floor in my new kitchen—just to my liking. Vannessa, who runs the show managed everything seamlessly, working with an attentive and knowledgeable team. I would highly recommend!

We have used GMJ Painting LLC for numerous projects around our home. They not only do painting, they employ skilled carpenters, electricians and plumbers. We first encountered Guillermo Mejia and his crew during our kitchen renovation. Subsequently, they have done additional painting and installed a Murphy bed and shelving cabinets in a guest bedroom. The most recent project they completed was a total tear down of screen porch after which they constructed a 23’ x 14’ all season room. This included framing , electrical and plumbing, installation of windows, sliding doors, electric fireplace, flooring, siding to exactly match existing siding, and architectural shingle roof to match the existing roof. They also removed an old shed, which was on blocks, and laid a concrete foundation and erected a new shed on the new foundation. We are thrilled with the results and intend to use them for future undertakings around our home.

Excellent! The workers showed up on time and were extremely courteous and professional. They removed an old vanity and replaced it and the bathroom faucet. They left the workplace spotless and got the job done very quickly. Would recommend Evangeline Construction to anyone needing repairs or remodeling.

It was a great from start to finish! Vanessa and her crew did a great job. They were a referral from a co worker. There was someone on site everyday. Finished when promised. The crew was on point. I had several days that i left them alone without me there. They were reputable. I was making the bathroom handicap accessible, they gave me alot of help along the way and I now have a awesome handicap bathroom with the feeling of a spa. Vanessa and team will have all my business. Thanks for a positive experience.

The project went very well. Follow up and communication was top notch. If there were any issues or concerns, they were immediately addressed. I really appreciated the options that were presented along the way - gave us ideas that we had not always considered. I would use Evangeline again and highly recommend their services. Danny and Vanessa did an excellent job! They coordinated with an electrician, painters, and plumber to get all the work done in efficient manner! We highly recommend them for any remodeling cabinetry that you needed.

Danny did a great job and we will be hiring him again soon for more projects. He built a door and installed a safe with built in shelving for a custom closet project and turned closet doors into barn doors. He basically made what I imagined a reality.

Danny is a perfectionist and the finished product looks like it has always been there. He also does the construction and installation in the time he told us he would. Do happy we chose him!

The most important thing for this project was for the work to be finished before my guests arrived, and she accomplished this! I've worked with many contractors, but this one, Evangeline Construction, came in with a plan and stuck to it. Vanessa started the very first day possible, which got the project off to a great start. She actually had plans and a calendar, which she used, to set up work to be done daily by her subcontractors. Vanessa had a start date and she began that demo on time. That entire first week was very important. She had scheduled for each trade to come in and do their job. It was smooth, and constantly someone was at the house working. No lost days. Scheduling is very important, and that is why the room was finished on time. Her various suppliers hold her in high esteem. She uses the same companies and gets along very well with them. They gave me great service when I needed to make purchases. They also sang her praises, and told me they like working with her. This goes far in helping her to stay on task and on time. When there was something that went wrong, I could contact Vanessa and she would handle the problem . And she handled it immediately. She kept in touch with me throughout the process, touching base to see how I felt about what was done so far. For example, when a door had to be rehung, the tile next to it not longer touched the threshold. I told Vanessa and the next time I was there, the tile guy had already fixed it. She's immediate with her actions. Most contractors put off repairs of their mistakes. She makes them right immediately.

Vanessa and Danny are great to work with and explain things well. We had some issues that we were not aware of from our previous HVAC installation and right from the start they recognized these issues and made us aware of the situation and were able to help us get this resolved and taken care of so we did not have any other problems down the road. We are excited with how well the kitchen and laundry room really turned out and it looks great. And by the way if Vanessa mentions she feels you should go with the back splash, just go with it because you will be surprised how well it actually gives you a great finished look! Just as other people said it would. They are professional, efficient, easy to work with, reasonable and the work was excellent. They told us they could do the remodel within a certain period of time and they were true to their word. We would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Evangeline Construction were awesome! In our search for a contractor who takes on our project, two gave us the runaround but Evangeline Construction replied to our request for a quote the very next day and came out to meet us the following day. Work began a week later and finished in three weeks! We asked to combine two bedrooms and put in an en suite, all we had to do was meet with each individual contractor and accept their quote. Vanessa and Danny organized and coordinated all of the teams. They worked together like clockwork, always on time everyday. We were offsite and the daily communication was fantastic. Danny's Construction and tiling work was excellent. A shout to Guillermo at GMJ Painting, Rodney at Attaboy Plumbing, Charles at J3 Electric, Bruno Flooring, Leslie at Palmetto Tiles and Jude at Five Island Glass for their professionalism and quality workmanship! I wanted to combine two bedrooms and add an en suite barhroom. I can’t be more pleased with Evangeline Construction! After contacting 2 other contractors who did not get back to me for weeks, I called Evangeline Construction and Vanessa responded within 24 hours and on a weekend! They came out to look at the project within days and had their crew in to get quotes in a timely manner. Once work started the project was completed on schedule! Communication was excellent with Vanessa giving me daily updates and always available to answer my questions. All members of the crew were professional and respectful of my property and the level of workmanship was excellent and beyond my expectations! Wonderful working with the entire team from Evangeline! We underwent a major remodel of kitchen and entire downstairs which we expected would take four times as long as it did. Not only were we back in our house in record time, but the quality of work and craftsmanship was outstanding. We’re thrilled with the results.

Our project came in on time and under budget. This was a full kitchen demo with all new cabinets, countertops, plumbing, electrical, Sheetrock, paint, and new floors throughout. we moved the whole kitchen from one side of the house to the other. Evangeline’s team was communicating and showing up daily. The work was of the highest quality with great attention to detail. Our friends and family are amazed at the speed of the project and the final result. I’ve been involved with six+ renovations over time and this was the fastest, smoothest, and most professionally handled project of them all, by far.

We started the remodel of our Kitchen and Bath in November... right in the beginning of holiday season. It was a tight timeline, and daunting to know that we'd be hosting Christmas for family in only 6 weeks. Vanessa assured us that it would be done and we'd be ready for a feast in our new kitchen on Christmas morning. I trusted her... but I've heard horror stories from neighbors with other contractors so I had my doubts. She and her team MADE it happen. A whole new kitchen, floors and guest bathroom in about 6 weeks. Primary contractor Danny is a true craftsman. All the subcontractors were fair and committed to our tight timeline at all costs (Tile workers working well past dark, electrician going above and beyond working after hours in week in the week leading up until xmas to complete). Vanessa handled any and all escalations/challenges with any vendors and sub-contractors promptly and fairly. I'd 100% recommend and use them again.
