Couldn’t be happier with the work, work men, and outcome. We had our kitchen and a bathroom completely remodeled. Despite issues cropping up, an unexpected water pipe in a wall being removed that had to be rerouted and a snow/ice storm that stopped the work for 2 days, the work was completed on time. The work men were efficient,skilled , and polite. We highly recommend Evangeline Construction.

The services that I contracted with Evangeline Construction were beyond Exceptional. From our first meeting, Vanessa could see the vision of the remodel that I wanted to do. She was able to build on that vision, and it went quickly from a bathroom, tile and painting redo to a full remodel from floor to ceiling that turned out beautiful. With this being our 2nd home, we wanted everything that our first home has, but, thought we would do a little over time, but I am so glad we choose the full remodel at one time. From the demolition, that begun the same week we purchased the condo, to finish time, which was just a couple weeks ago, everyone we worked with was s professional, responsible, thorough and exceptionally qualified. We live approx. 2 hours away and the tasks they told me that would be accomplished each week was spot on. The relationships vanessa has with her subcontractors who perform Tile, Cabinetry, plumbing, flooring, electrical, patching, painting, quartz, doors etc., along with working with her designers on Fixtures and flooring also exceptional. Vanessa called with good news and bad news but that's what a true contractor does. They stay in touch to keep you up to date on both.. We were so excited every weekend to make our way to Charleston to stay at the Hilton and view the achievements of the week. We didn't know what to expect then we would open the door to amazement. If you want a dedicated, honest and professional contractor and team, you found them. What I learned was; listen the experienced professional's advice, it will make your remodel easy your home beautiful and your life much easier. Thank You Vanessa and Team. We added carport to existing garage. The project used several different teams for different parts of project. I was impressed that all communicated well. If inclement weather, I received call with explanation and another call to tell me when work would resume. The quality of the work was excellent. The price reasonable, the material selected first class. I heartily recommend with no concerns whatsoever.

Evangeline transformed our “builder special” bathroom into something that gives us joy to use every day. It feels like we live in a luxury hotel now! Vanessa has a great team of subcontractors that she manages to do everything from carpentry, plumbing and electrical, and Danny brings tremendous expertise who helped construct a fabulous steam shower and tile bathroom that has been a dream to use every day, with an adjacent custom closet. They provided very quality work at competitive rates and would recommend them for your next project.

Evangeline Construction did an amazing job for our renovation; this included 2 bathrooms, a laundry room, mud room, a closet, and living room. They were on time & on budget. We were so happy with their work that we called them back 18 months later to renovate an additional bathroom in our home. 10/10, highly recommend!!!

Vanessa is a true “unicorn” in the world of contracting. From start to finish: A+ for communication, A+ for scheduling and efficiency and A+ for cleanliness and for having subs that I felt very comfortable being in my home doing quality work. Oh, and I must mention that she supported me even while making selections and has great rapport with her vendors. Evangeline stuck with me until the end and then some. Diego and his team were excellent,showing up on time and install the beautiful ceramic floor in my new kitchen—just to my liking. Vannessa, who runs the show managed everything seamlessly, working with an attentive and knowledgeable team. I would highly recommend!

We have used GMJ Painting LLC for numerous projects around our home. They not only do painting, they employ skilled carpenters, electricians and plumbers. We first encountered Guillermo Mejia and his crew during our kitchen renovation. Subsequently, they have done additional painting and installed a Murphy bed and shelving cabinets in a guest bedroom. The most recent project they completed was a total tear down of screen porch after which they constructed a 23’ x 14’ all season room. This included framing , electrical and plumbing, installation of windows, sliding doors, electric fireplace, flooring, siding to exactly match existing siding, and architectural shingle roof to match the existing roof. They also removed an old shed, which was on blocks, and laid a concrete foundation and erected a new shed on the new foundation. We are thrilled with the results and intend to use them for future undertakings around our home.

Excellent! The workers showed up on time and were extremely courteous and professional. They removed an old vanity and replaced it and the bathroom faucet. They left the workplace spotless and got the job done very quickly. Would recommend Evangeline Construction to anyone needing repairs or remodeling.

It was a great from start to finish! Vanessa and her crew did a great job. They were a referral from a co worker. There was someone on site everyday. Finished when promised. The crew was on point. I had several days that i left them alone without me there. They were reputable. I was making the bathroom handicap accessible, they gave me alot of help along the way and I now have a awesome handicap bathroom with the feeling of a spa. Vanessa and team will have all my business. Thanks for a positive experience.

The project went very well. Follow up and communication was top notch. If there were any issues or concerns, they were immediately addressed. I really appreciated the options that were presented along the way - gave us ideas that we had not always considered. I would use Evangeline again and highly recommend their services. Danny and Vanessa did an excellent job! They coordinated with an electrician, painters, and plumber to get all the work done in efficient manner! We highly recommend them for any remodeling cabinetry that you needed.

Danny did a great job and we will be hiring him again soon for more projects. He built a door and installed a safe with built in shelving for a custom closet project and turned closet doors into barn doors. He basically made what I imagined a reality.

The best!! Vanessa and Danny are a great team! Vanessa is on point with communication. No need to worry about what’s happening next because she’s on it. Danny’s focus and attention to detail are amazing! Couldn’t be happier with his work. Hoping to get on their schedule for guest bath remodel.

Pretty much as they said it would and better than I expected

Danny is a perfectionist and the finished product looks like it has always been there. He also does the construction and installation in the time he told us he would. Do happy we chose him!

Vanessa and Danny are great to work with and explain things well. We had some issues that we were not aware of from our previous HVAC installation and right from the start they recognized these issues and made us aware of the situation and were able to help us get this resolved and taken care of so we did not have any other problems down the road. We are excited with how well the kitchen and laundry room really turned out and it looks great. And by the way if Vanessa mentions she feels you should go with the back splash, just go with it because you will be surprised how well it actually gives you a great finished look! The most important thing for this project was for the work to be finished before my guests arrived, and she accomplished this! I've worked with many contractors, but this one, Evangeline Construction, came in with a plan and stuck to it. Vanessa started the very first day possible, which got the project off to a great start. She actually had plans and a calendar, which she used, to set up work to be done daily by her subcontractors. Vanessa had a start date and she began that demo on time. That entire first week was very important. She had scheduled for each trade to come in and do their job. It was smooth, and constantly someone was at the house working. No lost days. Scheduling is very important, and that is why the room was finished on time. Her various suppliers hold her in high esteem. She uses the same companies and gets along very well with them. They gave me great service when I needed to make purchases. They also sang her praises, and told me they like working with her. This goes far in helping her to stay on task and on time. When there was something that went wrong, I could contact Vanessa and she would handle the problem . And she handled it immediately. She kept in touch with me throughout the process, touching base to see how I felt about what was done so far. For example, when a door had to be rehung, the tile next to it not longer touched the threshold. I told Vanessa and the next time I was there, the tile guy had already fixed it. She's immediate with her actions. Most contractors put off repairs of their mistakes. She makes them right immediately.

Evangeline Construction had superior customer service and ensured that every aspect of the project went smoothly from start to finish. Danny was an expert contractor and craftsman and Vanessa made sure that there was total coordination throughout. The final project was a beautiful kitchen which absolutely exceeded our hopes.
