Application was filled out online for a new AC unit online. Within 15 minutes a phone call from Carolina Air Care was received and within 4 days a new unit was installed! Impressive service & turnaround time.

A good friend told me to check out Carolina Air Care for a quote to replace my failing 12-yr old HVAC system. My first call to them was at 5:30pm on 7/12/16. Their website said they closed at 5:30, so my first pleasant surprise was that they answered the phone! "Larkin" was courteous and unhurried in helping me with a ballpark price. We scheduled an appointment for them to come out and take a look at what I had and what I needed. "Jake" arrived as scheduled two days later and checked everything out and formalized the quote for my new system. He was friendly and professional as he explained all aspects of the old system removal and the new installation. Shortly thereafter I arranged for the installation on 7/19/16. "Jamal" and "Demond" were excellent on the installation. Courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, professional.. a recurring theme for the people of Carolina Air Care. The very next day (today, 7/20/16) "David" was here for the Quality Control follow-up. He inspected the installation, tweaked the system for peak performance and showed me how to use the new digital thermostat. I've been thoroughly impressed with this company. The people make it what it is! I have no reservations whatsoever in recommending them.

This is the second system CAC has installed in my properties & I could not be happier. All of their people are first class & they have been lower arrived on both jobs. They excel in all categories.

It went great. Two men showed up on time and went upstairs in attic and removed old unit and installed the new unit upstairs. They wired and attached all connections. They also remove the old unit outside and installed the new unit. This done all in one day. They also followed up with another visit and check all lines and pressure. We are very pleased this new unit and the service we were provided.

Carolina Air came out the same day I called them and diagnosed our issue. Our 2 ton heat pump unit was 17 years old and too small for our home. It was the Friday before July 4th weekend. Due to the cost of the repair, the age of the system and previous on and off problems we've had with the system my husband and I decided to replace the whole system. The technician who came out on Friday was Andy, Andy gave us the option of several units to choose from and said he could give us more if we wanted. Andy was courteous, knowledgeable, and showed up within the 2 hour window we were given. Andy even left our home to go back to the shop and bring back a portable air conditioning unit for us to borrow. He set it up and showed me some key buttons to use and turned on the unit to make sure it was blowing cold air before he left-which it was. After a short while the portable unit was blowing cold air then warm air. It was after hours when I called about the portable unit and while Larkin was going to send someone out to replace it, it was late so I asked if someone could bring a new unit out around 9am the next morning that would be fine, she agreed and they showed up before 9am with a replacement unit. They set it up and it worked perfectly. This was loaned to us at no extra cost. With temps being in the upper 90s this was a true blessing and life saver for my family and I. Our appt was scheduled for Thursday but Larkin called on Tuesday with an opening on Wednesday so we accepted that without hesitation. Jamie and Ricky were at our home about 9:30am on Wednesday and worked until 10pm. Since we went from a 2 ton unit to a 3 ton unit tubing, duct and other peripheral items needed to be replaced so there was a lot to do. While replacing the unit outside was easy the issue was in the attic. There wasn't room in the attic to place the larger duct pieces in the same location as the existing duct (plus the air handler was several feet longer than the existing one) so in my opinion this was no easy job. However, Jamie and Ricky spoke to me as if this job was not an issue-clearly they are used to doing this which made me feel even more comfortable than I all ready was. When I saw some of the items they brought out of the attic it's amazing that we were feeling any cool air at all-some pieces were rusted through, others were taped together, filthy...and just disgusting. Coming from a person with allergies including being allergic to dust I was happy to see those items leave our home. One last concern I has was at one point the temperature in the attic was 188 degrees yet Jamie and Ricky kept working without missing a beat. I was shocked to find this out so happily gave them a fan to use. Not only did we get a much more efficient system but we also received a new digital thermostat and Jamie showed us how to work it before he left. The folder of paperwork Jamie provided us included a completed SCE&G form that we can submit for a rebate. It also included information to receive a free preventative maintenance service call as well as $25 off if I refer a friend. Oh...and I almost forgot. Before the install was even completed Larkin called me to schedule a quality control check. This means that a QC technician will come out and inspect the installation and performance of the new system that was just installed. I find this to be an added bonus and impressive! All the staff I worked with from Carolina Air LLC were nice, professional, courteous and easy to work with. They are a BBB accredited company which was one of the things I was looking for when selecting an HVAC company. They made a miserable situation much more bearable to live with being in SC in July without any air conditioning. Thank you Carolina Air!

Unit went out on Thursday and Carolina Air Care replace with new unit on Saturday.

Had a great experience with Carolina Air Care. They just installed our new A/C upstairs and 3 new thermostats for our home. All the way through from diagnosis to install to quality control the folks were courteous and informative. The unit is working phenomenally. I was impressed that they gave us tips on how to better preserve our older units and they will be the ones we call when they do kick the bucket. Great job folks!

Great service, very professional, they were here when then said they would be here. They also sent out a quality control person a few days later to make sure everything was working properly and make sure everything was cleaned up.

This unit is amazing and worked like they said. I most say the thing I like best is the time the installers took to explain what they were doing and why. The installers were polite and very respectfully. I now recommend to all I come in contact with.

Personnel arrived Monday 6/20 on time to install new a/c unit. All the men were very polite, friendly and informative. When work was completed they swept my floors clean of all debris, hauled off old a/c unit and boxes from new unit. Was shown how to operate unit. A quality control check was to be made on 6/21 and the they arrived on time and performed the check. Personnel was very nice, polite and we enjoyed a few laughs and stories during the check. I am very happy with the company, their employees, the job that they did and the equipment that they installed. Carolina Air also loaned me a portable a/c unit which sat on the floor and vented out the window. This machine was so wonderful and cooled my living room (which I had blocked off from the rest of the house with sheets because it was 92 degrees inside) to 68 degrees. Thank you Carolina Air care, job well done.

Very responsive, competitive price. Jake, our salesperson, was knowledgable, professional and a very nice guy. Install team, led by Reggie, completed installation in approximately 4 hours and left our home as clean as when he began David, the install supervisor, came to our home several days later to inspect the quality of the install and to set everything up as we preferred. Overall, very satisfied customer.

Salesman Jake was super nice and very helpful in explaining the whole process and how Caroina Air Care conducts their business. The installers were prompt and easy going and didn't leave a mess. They even accommodated the baby gate at the end of the staircase until we figured out a better solution to keep my toddler off the stairs. The quality control inspection after the install was good to ease peace of mind but a bit of a waste of time. My only complaint is we have an issue with getting heat and air into one of our bedrooms and the salesperson, installers, and quality control have all three come up with different suggestions on what will or will not fix our problem. The overall concensus is to wait and see if the new system fixes the problem and then if not come back out and reassess. Also the installers left some minor damage to the siding while fixing a pipe and when brought to attention after the fact, I was told it happens.

The 2 gentlemen arrived on time. They got right to work, removing the old units, and replacing it with the new ones. They were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They even took the time to answer my questions about how the new unit worked, and why. Between price and service, Carolina Air is the best choice!

Kyle came to check unit that wasn't working said it needed to be replaced. By the end of the week my new unit was installed!

My first experience with Carolina Air was last summer/ fall when I was shopping around for a new unit. I solicited three quotes from other HVAC providers, including the one that replaced my upstairs unit the year before. I wish I had gone to Carolina Air for that one too. They did not try to upsell me with a larger unit and held the quote for 90 days. When they finished the work and replaced my thermostat, I noticed the next day it was not programmable like the one I had already installed. I called them and they promptly came out and installed a new programmable one no extra charge. Recently I needed quotes for duct work, including moving one duct/register to a new location, they sent someone out the next day. He crawled under the crawl space even though it was pouring out, answered all my questions and again, did not try to upsell me. They came to do the work when they said they would and were on time and fit into my schedule. I called them about a register not quite fitting and they sent someone out the next day and he fixed it immediately. All of their workers were nice guys and cleaned up after themselves. You could tell they liked working for this company.. I will only use them for any HVAC issues in the future.

It was great! They arrived on time; were very professional; and worked non-stop until everything was installed & working properly, approximately 5 hours from start to finish. They also removed all of the old HVAC equipment. Once they were finished, I was given a quick tutorial on routine maintenance and everyday use, as well as how to use the Honeywell thermostats. I was extremely pleased with their technical knowledge & skill, work ethic, and excellent customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs anything from basic HVAC repair to total system replacement.

The installers, Reggie, Steven, and Josh arrived at 9:30. Well within the specified time. They started right away. Josh worked outside while Reggie and Steven worked inside. They all were very polite and courteous. They did not hesitate to answer questions that we had. They hit a snag when the unit outside would not work, but it worked inside. They worked together to figure out that a wire was no good. They finished the job around 2;00. They explained how the new control panel works and even gave us the booklet if we needed to refer to it for any reason. I was truly impressed when I went outside and saw the area near the air conditioner cleaned up. I would recommend Carolina Air Care. They were great.

They first checked for the leaks, then they gave us all our options. We could have just put more coolant in, but knew that was just a band aid... and our electric bills had been astronomical the summer before. So when we decided to go with a new unit they gave us options of all those that were the correct size for the the size of our home. They explained all the options thoroughly and as soon as we had decided on one, they had us scheduled and they were out promptly. They put the new unit in and then went up into the attic and replaced all of the working up there as well... They were very polite and had it done that day. Then they sent out another man later that week to check everything over and make sure it was all running smooth. This is now our second year in and our bills in the summer are almost cut in half. Our daughter just bought a home this spring and they were having trouble with their a/c unit and we recommended them.

We must say that we are very pleased with the service we received from Carolina Air Care. They were very professional in every aspect of the job. The price was right, they arrived when expected to do the job, they installed the unit and cleaned up everything, then the quality control technician came by the next day to inspect the superb job the installers had done. He explained to us all about how the unit works, what filters to use, what we can expect out of the unit, and how the warranty works. Very knowledgeable guy with some valuable information. The unit itself is extremely quiet and works just as they told us it would. It is so nice to have a cool house again! The carpet and floors feel so much better, our bed is so cool and dry now that the new unit has pulled out the excess humidity from the house. We are HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY with our decision to use Carolina Air Care and have the Lennox heat pump, air handler and ComfortSense thermostat installed. Wish we would have done it last year!
