When a contractor ruined my HVAC with sheetrock dust, I was scrambling to get repairs. CAC came out quickly, accessed the problem, offered options, and was able to get me a new unit installed and cleaned the ducts for much less than the other two quotes I got. Their crew was very friendly and professional, and they have demonstrated exceptional followup service. I would highly recommend them.

Everything went good while dealing with Carolina Air Care. I called on Monday morning to get someone out to give me a quote on replacing my HVAC unit. The customer service representative told me she could have someone out in the afternoon. She said he would call before he arrived to give me a more specific time and he did. Once he arrived he looked over my system and once he finished I was given an estimate with five options to chose from. He explained each one to me and answered all of my questions before I made my choice. We then called into the office to schedule an install date and they were able to get me in on Thursday. About an hour after the person who came out and gave me a quote I received an email from the company confirming everything and it contained the quote and explained what I could expect on Thursday. I received a call on Wednesday to confirm my install on Thursday and was given a window of between 8:30 & 9:30. Again I was told the installer would call to give me a more confirm time. The installer did call and arrived when he said they would. We went over the paperwork and they started the installation. After the installation the installers went over the system with me and answered all my questions. I was really impressed with this First Rate company and will definitely recommend them for any HVAC system needs.

They were on-time, professional, and cleaned up everything, including small bits of insulation and paper - all of it, both inside and outside the house. Our old unit had water in it. They laid a tarp down to protect my carpeting and did everything they could to ensure that their work didn't affect the rest of my house at all. After they were done, you'd never know they'd just replace an HVAC system. The system has worked wonderfully, and is noticeably cooler and quieter than our old unit. I also really appreciated the follow-up quality check they performed several days later. The person checked all the work, thoroughly checked the system to ensure it was operating properly, and asked about the workers and the work performed to ensure we were satisfied.

Jake the estimator was very through in defining the requirement's providing options. The installation team read by Reggie was knowledgeable provide a superior quick (1 day) installation and cleaned up after themselves. Daven came 7 days later and did a through on the install.

My 16 year old AC unit was past being on its last legs and had a major leak that was beyond fixing. It was blowing cool in the winter and warm in the terrible heat wave we were having at the time, so I didn't use it. From the estimate to the finished work, the process was seamless. I got a couple of other estimates from different companies and not only was Carolina Air Care the most reasonable, I knew they were going to be professional and friendly. The man who came to do the estimate was wonderful (Thanks, David!) and was upfront and thorough explaining every step that would be taken. While I was in the process of getting an estimate from another company, I had an issue where I was hoping there would be a way to get the old unit to work temporarily due to out-of-state visitors coming, but I wasn't optimistic. David came back very quickly and was able to add some refrigerant that would temporarily hold me over (which it did for about 2 weeks before it leaked out). When it finally died for good I was very pleased that they were able to get here quickly to replace it. The 3 men who came were nice, friendly, professional and very hard workers . I felt so badly for them because it was a sweltering day. I think it was no better outside than in my attic. I was told it would take about 4 hours to complete everything and they were right on the money. They tested everything from A to Z to make sure everything was in perfect working order before they would leave. The new Lennox unit is extremely efficient (it's been very nice to see my electric bill decrease!) and my house has never been cooler They made sure the heat was tested as well and I know it's going to be nice and warm in my house next winter. After the job was done I received a follow-up call a few days later to make sure all was well. Carolina Air Care's $40 service call fee is the lowest of any other company in the area. I have nothing but good things to say about them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them!

From the thoroughness and explanation of the estimate to the quality control visit two days after installation Carolina Air Care was very impressive.

Two years ago, when my home HVAC unit failed, I used Carolina Air Care to replace my unit. They showed up promptly, gave a good quote, performed the work in a professional manner and cleaned up afterwards. Since I was happy with their work two years ago, I decided to call them last month when two of my rental properties had HVAC issues. They sent a tech out within a day and, after attempting to get the compressor running, he informed me that it could not be repaired. Since the unit was over 10 years old and used R-22 freon, I decided to replace the whole unit, inside and out. The tech gave me a quote right then and even set up an appointment! The installation crew showed up on time and we're finished in less than three hours and left the work areas clean. A week later another rental property of mine had issues as well, so I repeated the process. Again the tech showed up on time and pinpointed the problem as the evaporator unit being clogged and having many bent fins. Again, since it was an R-22 syste., I decided to replace the entire unit. Again, the crew showed up on time and did great work. Carolina Air Care also provides a quality control check a week after installation to assure that all is working well and that the installation was performed correctly. This provides the customer with peace of mind, knowing that everything is working properly. I'd recommend Carolina Air Care to anyone!

They were very quick to come out and gave me a free second opinion. I had already had the company I had been using come out and they said that my HVAC had broken to the point that it is not worth repair. The thing was 17 years old in Charleston so I figured they were being truthful, but it's always good to have a second opinion. Within an hour of calling Carolina Air Care was able to have one of their tech come out and take a look. They came to the same conclusion about what parts had failed on my unit and that it needed to be replaced. The pricing on their replacement unit was significantly lower than the company I have been using... I'm talking about 25% less! I was a little weary, but they had just replaced a system for someone else that I knew and did a great job. We ended up going with them because of the significant savings and found them to be very helpful and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a system replacement.

Carolina Air Care Team from Sales Rep to Quality Assurance and especially the Installation Team of Deamond and Jamal could not have been more professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and especially punctual on times/dates set to perform services. We were extremely satisfied with our new unit. We also obtained a 10 year upgrade and maintenance agreement. We are hoping that IF we have any issues with our unit that Carolina Air Care will provide us the same satisfaction with any follow up care/service.

I called at 8:55p on a Saturday night and left a message with the answering serivice. Within 15 minutes I received a call back to discuss scheduling service for the next day. I was impressed with how professionally everything was handled. The next morning I was called back to schedule and confirm the appointment and address. The appointment was scheduled for 4pm, but they were running ahead of schedule and called to see if they could come early. This is some of the best service I have ever had. Once they got here everything was handled quite simple and quickly. I would do business with them again.
