I didn’t hire this company because they wouldn’t give a free estimate. I’m writing this review so that other consumers are aware of this fact. I told the woman on the phone that Angie’s list had a free service call coupon but she said that was only if work was performed that day. After making the appointment and asking about a free quote, she told me that there would be a $40 service call. I rated her low on professionalism because when I then said I would have to cancel the appointment she simply hung up on me. I called competitors for quotes and was given free quotes, so the Service call fee seems to be just a business decision they have made.

We are pleased with the service provided. Technicians were knowledgeable and shared what was going on and why certain things needed to be done. Very happy with overall service.

We had a Lennox HVAC system installed by Carolina Air Care. The technicians were professional, courteous and on time. The job was completed in the time described. The overall price was reasonable. They explained the power company rebate programs to ensure we took advantage of the rebates. They scheduled a Quality Control visit a few days after installation to ensure all was working well.

It went well. They were in and out within 5 hours. The crew was kind and knowledgeable.

Chris did an outstanding job restoring pressure to our line set after a break from siding installation...on a weekend. Extremely pleasant to work with & exhibited professional competence at all times. He even followed up the next day to clear a lockout. We couldn't be happier with the prompt & courteous service.

The process was super from start (bidding) to finish (installation completion). Jake was super helpful from the beginning and Chris and Tony were super professional. The team members were very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. The company has a very organized system of operation that is obvious to put customer service first.

Definitely recommend Carolina Air Care. They were extremely helpful in every step of the process and made choosing them a no brainer.

The technician ran into a problem with the wiring to the outdoors and went above and beyond his installation and corrected the problem.

1. I had gotten estimates from six (6) HVAC companies. Jake, from Carolina Air Care was the most transparent, professional and unbiased of all the sales persons that I contacted. Not pushy, technical HVAC accumen at a very high level and immediate responses to my follow up questions. 2.Office staff @ Carolina Air Care (Allison and Larkin) were very helpful in explaining installation logistics, scheduling and QA follow up. They also provided top notch hand-holding for facilitating both the SCE&G and Lennox rebate paperwork. 3. On-site installation crew arrived on time, as scheduled. There were very professional, respectful of entry and exit ways, took care to not damage walls, hardwood floors and carpet. Cleaned up prior to departure. 4. Too early to comment on performance of Lennox equipment, but confident and pleased with the team from Carolina Air Care for the installation.

Purchased a 5 ton and 4 ton Lennox signature series compressors, 2 SLP98 furnaces, and 2 CX35 air handlers to replace the old ones (also Signature Series), now 13 years old (harsh beach environment). First thing we noticed is how quiet the new units are. The basic iComfort thermostats are light years ahead of the old Lennox thermostats, and simple to use. Plus they don't "click" when the AC turns on. Remote wifi access is a handy feature when traveling away from home. Didn't see the need for the "smart" and "ultra-smart" thermostats (the S30s and E 30). Installation took the better part of a day. Installers did a great job and left our house as tidy as they found it. Best part was the super thorough quality control inspection the next day. Looking at the bottom line, Carolina Air Care bid this job out at nearly 1/2 of what their two closest competitors bid. The 10 year parts and labor warranty is also a plus.

Paul and Josh were very friendly, professional, prompt and courteous. These gentlemen were very thorough and took pride in their work. They kept me updated daily on their progress and kept the debris minimal. i would absolutely suggest them to complete any AC related work for my friends. Great experience.

I am a certified HVAC technician who hired Carolina Air Care for two residential installation jobs. The first was to replace a two-ton split system (air handler in attic) and compressor\coil (outside) retaining existing line-sets and ducting, The second job was to replace crawl space ducting with hard pipe retaining the 3 ton split system intact. I was impressed by everyone at this company! Sales rep was knowledgeable and practical in offering options for both jobs. Installers were clean, fast, thorough and communicative. Admin office staff were helpful and on point with requests about contracts, scheduling and pricing. Quality tester was thorough and provided blast test results, refrigerant and electrical readings (for both zones), and submission paperwork for power company rebates. I had three bids for both jobs from three separate companies. All bids and equipment had comparable SEER ratings and similar warranty periods. This one happened to be the least expensive but, beyond that, I felt that this company wanted the work and knew how to deliver an excellent outcome. Every employee I spoke with had been with the company for a long time and had good things to say about their culture and quality. No disappointments. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Everything went great from start to finish. Everyone was very professional and friendly, from the office employees, to the technicians, to the install manager. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is in need of HVAC services.

Chris, Tony and Paul were very polite and professional. I was very impressed with how fast they worked considering the amount of work they needed to do to install the new unit. The price for the entire install was incredibly reasonable compared to other companies that wanted to charge twice as much for doing less. They instead a 3 ton unit with a split heat pump and new zone board. Touch screen temperature controls(2), and much more. This company guarantees their work %100. I don’t usually write reviews, but this company deserves 5 stars and I highly recommend them.

Quote on Sunday morning, financing by mid-afternoon. Installation of a whole new HVAC system in five hours on Tuesday. Easy, convenient, affordable, no hassles! Total professional work and friendly service. I cannot recommend Carolina Air Care enough!

Chris, Tony, and Doug arrived on time and were very professional and knowledgeable. They worked inside and outside installing the new units, when finished they cleaned up all debris and left the house as they found it. I would highly recommend CAC

They did a excellent job. Took longer then they thought but did a great job. Used them on a rental property and did a great job over there also. Would use them again.

when we needed to replace an HVAC system. This time it was in another house we own. They we're very responsive to all of our requests from the date and time we required to meet them for the quote, to the date and time of the installation. We will use them on an annual basis to perform preventive maintenance and we'll continue to recommend them to other as we've done several times. Congratulations Carolina Air Care! You have them all beat especially with responsiveness and price.

Installation went great, unit installed works great. Be sure to get a good understanding of the equipment you are buying. I was not clear and received a heat pump that doesn't provide all the functions I had wanted. With that said, the heat pump that was installed is providing excellent service.
