C & B Electrical Services

This is the third time we have used C & B Electrical and must honestly say they are the best electrical company we have ever used! The owner, Brian, is tremendously knowledgeable and his employees are well trained, very polite and professional, and provide excellent service. Sam, the last electrician from C & B Electrical who came to replace our ceiling fan, did a superior job with what could have been a tough job: installing a ceiling fan in a pine-panelled ceiling and getting it to look like it was the perfect match and always there! We were very impressed with his skill and he was exceptionally nice, as well. We are very glad we found this company on Angi's List 2 years ago and have used them ever since.

Excellent. Brian was on time, very polite and knowledgeable. He immediately got on task, checked out all possibilities, and explained everything as he went to make sure I understood the problem. He even repaired an outlet for me that I had not requested service for.

The GFCI work was done within 24 hours after they were contacted; concerned it was a safety issue. Done quickly and professionally. The can install was done perfectly. It was a retro fit, so they took incredible time to ensure exact placement of the four lights. They were able to tie into some existing wiring and installed dimmer. The real tribute has been from our visitors who all have stated, “gee we thought those were there all along, looks like they were part of the house from the beginning”. Both electricians were professional, pleasant, and informed us every step of the way. The actually had to go buy a 12 foot ladder to reach the ceiling as all other ladders were tied up that day. They did this rather than have to delay the job ! Just outstanding work. Very pleased.

They were super friendly and helpful! Got the job done quickly and let me know what was going on every step of the way. Will be hiring them for any job big or small!

I appreciated that the service was started on time. They were knowledgeable and professional in the task. When they were done I was happy with the completed job.

Brian Byars replaced the broken breaker for my dryer. Standard work but oh so important to me and especially because he did it when I was not an existing customer. He answered the phone at 7 a.m. on the day after Thanksgiving when I called because I did not know the company was closed for a long weekend and most of the staff was out of town. He was at my house two hours later and less than 30 minutes after that I once again had a working dryer! I had not had one since Monday evening and my usual electrician didn't bother to show up at the appointed time (and I haven't heard from him since) and another electrician said he would be here Wednesday evening but got tied up and blew me off. Brian, on the other hand, went out of his way to help me and I'll definitely call C&B in the future.

Job was done promptly and accuratly.The electrician discussed location and what circuits were important to us before starting job. He even made suggestions with our interests in mind. I really appreciated that.I knew I had put my trust in the right hands.I would hire them again with out question..

Very good work. Showed up right on time and finished the job in less than 3 hours. Owner sent two Electricians and the job went very smooth. When it was completed they went over the whole transfer panel with me and explained the few steps i would need to do when and if the power went off. Very happy with the whole install and the two very nice young guys that did the work. This is a good company.

The owner, Brian Byers, is the most knowledgeable, experienced, and professional electrician we have ever had the privilege to work with on our aging, oft-remodeled home. He evaluated our current electrical situation and identified what areas of wiring needed to be brought up to code, what was fine as is, and how to fix or replace the light fixtures/switches in nearly every room of the house, the garage, and on the wellhouse. He even came up with an ingenious way to safely and attractively get the new wiring he had installed in our attic down through the upstairs and into the downstairs panel box without disturbing existing drywall or visible ceilings. And he came up with another ingenious way to install a Bluetooth switch in the main house to turn on and off the light on the wellhouse. His employees Anthony and Tommy were excellent, as well, and everything was done cleanly and perfectly from what we could see. All our new and repaired fixtures and wiring work like a dream. We would highly recommend this company for any and all electrical needs, as Mr. Byers has the expertise to do it all!

C&B Electrical called me immediately and asked several questions, having me check for any outlet with a GFI test/reset feature. I located one on this circuit that I never used, hit the reset and power was restored. I call back and thanked them for walking me thru the steps and saving me $$. I would highly recommend their services.

Mike and partner did a great job doing a generator set-up and an indoor and outdoor plug. Fast and cleaned up everything!

Fast and Fair. We were scheduled and received our service call within 24 hours of contact. The problem was quickly determined and we were offered several solutions with no pressure from our technician. We chose to have a larger breaker installed. We were up and going within 2 hours of their arrival . AAA and highly reccommended

It can be tough to get an electrician to come out to Kiawah Island, but this project could not have gone better. After speaking with the owner of the company (an electrician) on the phone in advance of the project to make sure that what I wanted was actually feasible, the very nice field electrician arrived at my home on time and got right to work. He did exactly what the owner of the company told me that he would do and the outlet looks and functions exactly as I wanted it to function. C&B is now quoting an additional project for me because I was so impressed with their expertise, professionalism, and work ethic. I highly recommend C&B Electrical and will use them again anytime that I need electrical help in my home at Kiawah Island.
