Prompt, fast, clean, courteous, pleasant, and we highly recommend Ashbusters.

They looked at it and they gave us a huge estimate on the cost to fix it. We had another guy come out and he said we did not need it and gave us an estimate that was about one quarter of what Ashbusters quoted us. Ashbusters gave me a quote for about $5000 and the other company gave me a quote for about $1200. I would not recommend them to anybody. They did arrive on time and had nice uniforms. The other company that I got the quote from knew immediately that I spoke with Ashbusters when I told him the other quote that I received.

This big deal turned out great. He was very professional and the work was perfect. We did have to wait about 2 months for an appointment, which was the only negative thing I had to say. The technician that came wasn't aware that I had the Big Deal coupon so when he listed the cost, it was at least $50-60 more, so having the big deal was a great discount. I was satisfied with the service.

It was good. Our chimney works great. They did a great job. There were no extra charges

It was wonderful. They came out a couple of weeks after I purchased the deal. I had to call them because they were supposed to call me and they didn't.

They were right on time and very efficient and clean.

John Perdue, our technician, was very through and used a video camera so that we could see personally the interior chimney damage. John gave us our options to repair the fireplace to its original funtion or install a gas log set, which we chose to do. No more mess!! John personally installed the new logs and has been very attentive to be sure they are working and performing properly. All calls to the local office have been very perfessional and responces have been timley. My wife & I have absolutley nothing but praise for Ashbusters in Charleston, SC.

Appreciated their assessment but decided to use fireplace without repairs with satisfactory results obtained. Of course use of fireplace was for a few weeks only.

This is my 2nd time using Ashbusters for a chimney clean. The owner is very professional and clean. Confirmed the damage in our chimney. Definitely would use them again for a clean. Getting other quotes for the chimney rebuild that we need to do. He was very timely in sending me a detailed line item quote (which I asked for).

They tried to sell me more services. They very clean and they cleaned up well after themselves. There were two technicians here doing the work and scheduling was very easy.

A camera was run up the chimney and several areas were pointed out that needed to be fixed. Estimates were left so that when we ready to do repairs we would know what to expect. It was also suggested that we waterproof the outside of the chimney which was a little ridiculous to us. It was suggested that we don't burn it until repairs were made which my husband thought was too much as he didn't see any major problems when he looked at the camera with the tech. We will make our decision about any repairs during the warmer months. At the time I called them there were no special deals going on however I did find a valpak coupon for $25.00 off the expiration date was 1/31/14 and our original appointment was 1/30/14, however it had to be rescheduled because of the weather for Saturday 2/1/14. The coupon was accepted.

Offered a special on Angie's List, that I fell for, like many of you probably. Searching to have my chimney cleaned, they came out for $111 and gave me an estimate of what was wrong with my chimney. My wife was at home, and she was left an estimate of $400-600 to clean the chimney, and also was told that it needed a chase and cap (about $750 for the both). This totals $1150-$1350. Their advertisement is blatantly misleading. My chimney was not cleaned. I paid $111 to find out they wanted another $1150 plus! Well, I called another company (Longman Co., Inc), who came out the next day, cleaned the chimney, and analyzed my chase and cap. Chase and cap were said "to be in great working condition" and cleaned the chimney for $185. No other issues, all is great. $185 or $1350??? Be careful folks, do your research and find someone that will be honest with you. Ashbuster's left me with a very poor taste in my mouth.

They were punctual, efficient and explained what they were doing.

They came out and cleaned and inspected our chimney. They told us about issues that could wait and did not push unneeded repairs. All in all we were pleased with everything.

They were very backlogged and they could not fit us in for an entire month. Since they were not getting back to us, we had the Big Deal cancelled and scheduled with another company. After that, they then contacted us to schedule an appointment. They were also short and rude with us on the phone. We did not have any work done.

John came out on 12/13/13 to clean and inspection of the chimney because we had a leak somewhere. John came out on a Sunday to do the repairs. He did an awesome job, I'm very pleased. And I would highly recommend Ashbusters. I've had other chimney companies in the past but Ashbusters is the first company to really address the leak issue.

Additionally they recommended other items for our chimney we might need.

It was very good. They didn't leave a mess. I thought they did a good job. They give me an accurate report on the condition of my chimney.

We own a home built in the 30's and wanted to know if we were safe to use the fireplace. The gentleman that came to the house took a look and advised us not to use it. We really expected that. He gave us a couple of recommendations on what we could do to make it useable. The quotes seemed reasonable. He told us there would be no charge for the visit and they would refund what I spent on my deal from Angie's list! Will definitely give them a call back when we decide what we would like to do.

My experience with Ashbusters Chimney Service went fine. They came in, they did what they said they were going to do. It was very interesting. I was pleased with them. They were prompt. They were actually early.

They inspected the inside of the fireplace and outside of the chimney. It had been totally redone and I wanted to make sure it was safe to use. They found it was very unsafe so I was glad I decided to have it inspected before I used it.

The 2 men that came were punctual, worked quickly, very courteous and pleasant, and made sure everything was clean before they left. I would definitely use them again!
