Description of Work: Cleaned chimney from inside the home & on top of house. Took pictures of chimney outside & inside & recommended what else needed to be done.

Description of Work: Ashbusters cleaned my chimney and inspected fire place. They found a crack in the back wall of the prefab fireplace. They came back one week later and replaced the back wall. Very professional, prompt, and great service provider. I will definitely use in the future.

Description of Work: Re-pointed my fireplace. Had to grind out old and chipped and missing mortar and replace it with new cement mortar because of rain leaking into fireplace.

Explained to me before using the chimney camera what he would inspect and look for. Described the good and bad that we might see. | |Sidenote: Chris mentioned something that I didn't think of when purchasing the home, should have had a chimney sweep come out and perform an inspection just like you have a home inspector inspect the rest of the home. | |My inspection revealed lots of missing grout and cracks in the chimney sleeve. Currently my fireplace is not safe for wood logs fire use. Chris did give me a couple of options. I could repair the sleeve, which Ashbusters can perform, or I can switch to propane logs with two different types of systems available with many different designs and configurations. | |We are going to go with the propane gas ventless system so when we use the fireplace, all of the heat will help warm the home. Ashbusters (Chris) will come back to perform the service. | |Thanks to Ashbusters (Chris) for a great job and I look forward to the work you are going to perform. Description of Work: The service was great. Job well done. I will use again for chimney sweep only. However cost quote to repair was very high and will not use.

Description of Work: On a previous inspection of our fireplace, Ashbuster rep Chris found that the back piece of the firebox was cracked, top to bottom, presenting a severe safety hazard. He gave me a quote that day for repair and told me what would be involved, how long the process would take, etc. I called and made an appointment for a later time for the installation. Chris called me on the day scheduled & suggested re-scheduling because it was raining. He needed to cut the new piece to fit while at our house, and usually did this outside. The rain meant it would have to be accomplished inside, and even in the garage, he didn't want to make a mess. I rescheduled for about a week later, and Chris showed up promptly and got right to work, putting a tarp down to protect floors/rugs, and was finished in less than an hour. I would heartily recommend Ashbusters again to anyone. Great experience!
