Description of Work: The chimney sweep from Ashbusters arrived promptly (actually 45 minutes early) yesterday & cleaned the chimney & did a safety inspection & said my chimney pipe was all shiny inside & good to go! (It's cool that they attach a little camera & can examine the inside of the chimney all the way from bottom to top & view it on a monitor.)They put down plastic sheeting on the floor & the technician wears booties to keep the carpet/floor clean. They use a high powered vacuum to suck up the residue produced during the brushing so that none of it comes out of the fireplace to make a mess. When they leave, the area is as clean or cleaner than before they arrived. You might want to schedule to get your chimney swept soon to beat the rush in October. Please don't skip this most important preventative fire safety item! Description of Work: Chimney sweep and inspection. It was a pleasant surprise. I was prepared for a hard sale and additional work. I was not available when they came so my wife was there during the work. They explained everything they were doing and when she ask about something that would have been additional work they told her that what we had was fine and did not require additional. That could have been an easy spot for them to grab money but they were honest and that is much appreciated. They have gained a long term customer and I will be sure to recommend them to all my friends.

Description of Work: They cleaned & inspected the chimney. It did not take very long & they were very careful not to track in any dirt onto the carpet. Also no ash dust was allowed to escape their powerful suction vacuum. They use cool technology that allows them to view the inside of the chimney with a video camera & they can show you photos of actual sections of the inside of the chimney. They were very nice. I had used them the previous year for my chimney inspection so was thrilled when they ran this special for this year. I will call them again next year, too. They are great.

Description of Work: Cleaned out chimney. Did a good job. Removed some dead squirrels we didn't even know were in it. The guy recommended a set of ventless logs, but we're going to get a 2nd opinion on whether or not we need ventless, as opposed to regular ones.

Description of Work: Ashbusters' response was rapid. John, the technician, to arrive between 10-11am, was in my driveway by 10:10. He was very personable, professional, and knowledgable. The chimney was thoroughly cleaned and there was no evidence of his work in my living room when he was done. John took pictures of areas that I could not see and made logical recommendations for additional work that needed to be done. I will use Ashbuster for this work. Further I would strongly recommend their service to anyone.

Description of Work: The representative was certified in all aspects of chimney inspection and repair. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Part of the service was visual chimney inspection for any problems and a poorly drawing cap was noted and repaired for much less than my original estimate.
