Arrow Termite & Pest Control

On 5/5/22, we paid Arrow $4050 to finish encapsulating our crawl space. In 1/23, we had a foundation company inspect our home for potential foundation work needed. What they found in our crawl space was very concerning. I have pictures that show that the encapsulation work was done very poorly. You can see bare spots, torn plastic, water and mud over the plastic due to it not being properly attached and new fungus / mold starting to grow on our floor joists. Also, because it wasn’t properly sealed, there was new debris in the crawl space from animals bringing items in. Lastly, and almost most disturbing, the employee who did the work left old snake skins hanging on pipes rather than just disposing of them with other debris. The inspector is the first person to be in the crawl space since the work was done. We are now having everything removed and the crawl space encapsulated properly before we can have the foundation work done. I wanted to resolve this directly with the business but the owner, David Garner, does not believe that they did anything wrong. He says they did what they were contracted to do. I told him that the estimate Scott, the employee, wrote up said they they were completing the encapsulation (I have that estimate with Scott's writing which starts "to complete encap" and then he lists out several things they will be doing. Scott told me verbally that most of the area was covered properly and he would complete that covering. This was not done (or if so, done so poorly that you can't tell now 9 months later). If they felt that a better or replacement plastic encapsulation was needed, why wouldn't they have told me that? Either way, the encapsulation had to be completely redone. Mr. Garner said we should have let them correct it and I pointed out that at this point I could not trust them to do it properly. Updated: 3/14/23 - Two weeks ago, Mr. Garner's office called and told me that they were going to refund me the $2500 and he would call me the next day. When he called he was, again, very condescending and irritated (complaining about my complaint) and offered a $1500 settlement if I would remove my reviews/complaints on BBB and Angi. I didn't want to argue anymore so I accepted the $1500 offer to be done with this and agreed to remove those reviews. Trusting him (why, I don't know) I sent info to both to remove those reviews. Then I received, not the check, but a release he wanted me to sign. We had not agreed to it but I read through to see if it was acceptable - it said my complaint was 'doubtful’ and that he was basically buying his peace. Also, I would have to agree to confidentiality. And he even has the audacity to require that not only should the negative complaints be removed but UPDATE THEM WITH positive. I called and let them know I won't be signing this. Mr. Garner has been condescending and angry every time I've spoken to him. So, my husband called him the next day to try to resolve the issue and offered for us to sign a standard release for the settlement/refund. Mr. Garner will not return his phone call. He takes no responsibility and just keeps talking about how long they've been in business. Honestly, if he had apologized and been more concerned when I first spoke with him we probably could have resolved this.

I was simply attempting to get pest control from this company as I am a current customer. I started calling on Thursday and literally no one would answer the phone. Called multiple times and left messages to get a call back. No one else get called back. I then submitted 2 requests for service directly from their very own website. All these requests have since gone completely ignored. No one will answer their phones there and no one return phone calls. I should not have to beg to give someone my business.

It was fair. They didn't come for a follow-up treatment like they said they would. They billed me for extra things and they said there were no extra costs. I was not very satisfied. We still have roaches. They were supposed to come to do the outdoor treatments three times a year and they haven't done that. They billed me to do something on my yard which they didn't tell me there was an additional cost. I think they were on time.

Not well. This was the second visit, 3 months after the initial visit. Clearly Arrow had taken no notes about our house during the first visit. They had to be corrected several times about what was agreed to. Tried to spray where they weren't supposed to spray. Did not bring any paste like they were supposed to. Although paid to spray the lawns they only did the parts of the lawn in which they thought they could be seen (we have video security around the house). They drove out exactly one hour after they drove in (again, video surveillance) so it became obvious what their primary goal was/is. The time the tech took out to call his boss about what the agreed service was and the time for him to re-park his truck twice all came out of our one hour.

I called Arrow Termite and Pest Control to inspect and treat my home for termites and other pests. Tim, the technician, came out and inspected, giving me a price. He came back to do the treatment on 7/27/2016. He was prompt and courteous, very pleasant to work with. He will come on a monthly basis to treat for other pests! I had a great experience with this company.

Spent close to 5 hours treating my home and installing the plastic. Seemed to be very thorough and none of their competitors come close to beating their price.

This company was prompt, courteous, and professional and I recommend them without reservation. Their price was considerably less than that being charged in this area by some other companies.

They were good. They did come on time. They could have put extra spraying down because it seems like the mosquitoes came two days later probably because of the rains also.

The person that came out to our house sprayed the yard, as well as up into the trees. This went above our expectations and our yard has been much more enjoyable since.

It was good I guess. They did respond at a timely manner. It was effective. I knew exactly what they were putting down. I knew how long it would last for. I would probably use them again.

James was the technician and he was very professional, kind and punctual. He went above and beyond what he was scheduled to do. He spent 2 hours at our home and helped to also fix our rodent problem. He took his time with treating the entire yard. I kept an eye just to make sure he was doing a thorough job and he was. He was honest as well and I felt that he really cared. I ended up leaving my previous termite/pest company and will likely sign up for routine pest control with Arrow. I felt like I was receiving individual personalized care from this smaller company compared to other big name commercial companies.

I thought the $299 termite treatment would turn out to be some kind of a scam, but Tim was the technician who came to my house, and he really did do a termite treatment for $299. He was very punctual, professional, and nice. He did find powder post beetles which required an additional treatment, but that's just how it goes sometimes. I would use them again.

We had a problem with fire ants. We have a pool area that we wanted to protect! After they sprayed, we didn't see a single fire ant all summer! We'll have them back.

Miss understood the details of the Big deal. Did not end of having the work done.
