Very well - service was performed, and as the customer, I was educated in the process.

He Called LG to find out their was a recall on the mother boards of this machine and got the information for me and told me to call another repair company that works with LG. To find out, the board will be replaced free of charge. I would not have known this if Monty had not taken the time to call LG for me. Very nice, honest person. I would recommend him highly. He is coming next week to install a new microwave for me. I will use him in the future.

My dish washer was not draining. I called AFFORDABLE APPLIANCE REPAIR from their ad on Craig's list. The tech came to my home and examined my dishwasher. He said the problem was the drain pump and the part would have to be ordered. He promised to return and complete the job in a week. About a week later he returned with the part in hand. He installed the pump. The dishwasher still did not drain. (Obviously the pump was not the problem). He promised to research the problem and return the next evening. He didn't show up or call the next day. I called the following day and was told he would come that evening between 6:00 and 8:00. He arrived late (again) at 8:30. He said that the had documentation on how to trouble shoot and put the machine into service mode, etc. After awhile he said that the problem was the main controller board (the computer) and that the part would be $110. (Plus the unbroken pump that was replaced for $80 plus additional labor. The tech arrived late for every appointment, ordered unneeded parts, and finally did not repair the problem.
