They did a great job. Jamie arrived in the morning shortly after his guys had an opportunity to survey the job. They had an apprentice do most of the work, and then Jamie checked over it to ensure everything was proper. Took about 4 hours, and left me with much confidence the job was done correctly.

Yeah, using Acme Plumbing was a train wreck. First, the owner came, Jamy. He said he fixed the leak under the sink but it wasn't fixed. They sent other guys out 2 more times but it's still leaking and now they won't return my phone calls. Acme Plumbing was also supposed to fix my disposal. Jamy told me it was "on it's last legs" but didn't suggest I might want to replace it. Boy, he wasn't kidding! After he left and I used it I couldn't believe it! It sounded like it was dying. It was dead a couple of weeks later. I guess he wanted to come back out and charge me again rather than replace it when it obviously needed to be replaced. So, here I am, a couple of weeks after I paid Acme Plumbing to fix a leak and my disposal. The leak still leaks and the disposal is dead and I'm out $135!!! If you decide to try Acme Plumbing don't say I didn't warn you!!! I'm going discuss getting my money back with my attorney.

My toilet was clogged at my small business. They came the first time and claimed to fix it for $280. After they left it clogged again. When I called them back they told me it must be the city's pipes that were clogged. I called the city to come out (another $30 service charge for me). The city said their pipes were fine, but found a release valve and cleared out our line again. The nice man from the city came in and made sure the toilet was flushing properly. After one week the toilet was clogged again. I called and called the company to have someone call me back or come out to take a look. No one ever called me back and I had to call another company to come out and fix it. Terrible customer service, unprofessional, and they don't know what they're doing because the other plumber came out and fixed it for $78. I would just call Roto Rooter if you ever have a problem!

I called Mr. Cote of Acme Plumbing three times on May 2, 2011 to hire his company to come out to my personal residence to take care of a plumbing issue that had necessitated in turning the water off to the whole house. When he finally called me back at 5:06 that evening he screamed at me that I was a liar, that there was no plumbing issue and for me to find someone else. Needless to say I hung up on him and the next morning found someone who was more than willing to come out and repair the problem. Mr. Cote has stated that the reason he would not, did not return any of previous calls was that they were from two different phone numbers assoicated with my office. Mr. Cote owes the company I work with money for advertising he did and assumed, wrongly, that I was calling about the overdue invoices. It seems that my boss, without me knowing, had called before claiming he had a plumbing emergency when in fact he didn't. Every message I left I explained that it was for me, Denise Paglio, and never once said I was trying to contact him for the company I work for. I was amazed that a man who was in business for himself would treat a prospective client in that fashion.

Jamy arrived at our house exactly when we expected him. He is personable and professional. We told him what we wanted and requested feedback for some ideas we were mulling over. He provided excellent feedback based on past projects and we were able to make an immediate decision and a plan forward. We scheduled 3 days to perform the entire statement of work. Jamy's crew was professional and courteous and performed their statement of work on time. Their workmanship is excellent and aside from a manufacturer's defect on a valve and some caulking that needed to be reworked, there have been no problems whatsoever with any of the vast amount of work that he performed! As far as the caulking rework, Jamy came over on a weekend and took care of it. The valve couldn't be reworked, but we decided it wasn't a serious issue because it isn't leaking and performs just fine (these types of valves are difficult to find and it appears only one manufacturer still makes it). Jamy was flexible with the contract because we haven't purchased our gas stove, barbecue, or fire logs. He told us to hold back some money from our contract until we are ready for ACME to come back and install these items (our electrical remodel hasn't gone quite this smooth). This is just another example of how Jamy tries to do what is right for his customers. Anyhow, Jamy takes significant personal pride in the work that he does. He has a great crew and he takes personal responsibility for their work. Another difference maker for us is that ACME Plumbing drug screens their employees prior to allowing them work on a job. This was a big deal for us because we want to be comfortable when we leave for work with strangers in our house. ACME has completed 3 projects for us and we are looking at a 4th project. I recommend them with enthusiasm for any plumbing issues you may have.

great professional service. Provided a quote and tried to stay as close as possible but the job required extra work. Kept me in the loop throughout and allowed me to make decisions that were going to affect the cost. Great service, very friendly.

The overall experience was great. I received multiple phone quotes for this job. I feel I received excellent service and product for my money.
