Thompson Brothers Exterminating Co Inc

Hired this company November 2017 to install drain pipes in my backyard. They kept postponing because of weather. Then in March 2018, they were supposed to show, but put me last on their list. No show!!! Now I'm searching for another company after 4 months of waiting on them. It doesn't seem to bother them what they do to customers!

The crew was very nice and professional. Did an excellent job. Cleaned up everything afterwards. Todd, the sales rep, was knowledgeable and very good at explaining everything. He went above and beyond to make sure all our crawlspace moisture issues were resolved. Total work time not including the electrician was 5 days spread out over 2 weeks. It took about 8 weeks from the time of getting the written quote till work started as they are in great demand and very busy. However, the result was well worth the wait.

Thompson Brothers did an excellent job waterproofing our basement. They dug down 12 feet around 3 sides of the house, put in French drains, put "rubber coating" on the exterior walls, routed the water to the back of the lot, filled in the "moat", and leveled the soil. Lastly, they put out grass seed and straw on the lawn and put pine needles where the shrub beds had been. The project drug on for several months because wet, cold, and icy weather hampered progress.

It went well, but it took them 6 months to from the time they came out to the time they finished the job. Know they are extremely busy with all the rain.

Everything started out well, though my experience with the provider only worsened as we moved forward (or I at least tried to). The initial $1000 (plus $150/mo. for three months) fee I was quoted to spray for carpenter bees in my modest bungalow was outrageous compared to other pest control companies. The gentleman that gave me this quote (via the owner of the company) agreed that this seemed like a lot, and that he would try to talk the owner down a bit. Whether or not he did, I'll never know, since despite repeated attempts to contact him, after he initially responded to my email, none of my other subsequent emails were returned. Likewise, there were no telephone follow-ups or otherwise any type of communication. If a company is not interested in my business, I would appreciate knowing that upfront, as I don't have the time to beg or chase them.

Had an ant problem. Nothing we tried worked. Called Thompson Bros. and a person was on site the next day. Worked quickly and effiiciently. Ants are gone. Prompt, efficient service at a very good price.

We have a termite inspection contract with Thompson Brothers. They are good enough to call and remind us of when our inspection is due. They arrive promptly and do the inspection in a timely manner. I've found all the representatives to be friendly and professional.

The technician was very friendly...sprayed and gave us a few bait traps just in case.

The service person arrived on time and went into the crawl space. He did a thorough inspection,spending a long time in the crawl space. Afterwards, he informed me of the results and recommended treatment for spiders. I enjoy doing business with Thompson Brothers. They are always prompt and professional.

They're excellent. They're just always very nice. They always call me the day before and tell me they're coming and I like that.

When we first bought the house we had a leak in the basement. They are great. They were on time and they were professional. They were so pleasant and the quality of the work was great. They have an awesome warranty and I feel sure that years down the road if I had a leak they would take care of it. and that's why I went with them. They know what they are doing.They were not the cheapest but not the most expensive. We did a lot of research and seen that they had no negative reviews and that's why we went with them. There were several weeks of work. They would always let me know what they are doing. It has a life time kind of warranty and once they seal it, it is supposed to remain dry.

My experience with them has always been good. I have worked with them for 25 years.

They are reliable and their system seems to work. We would give them a first class rating.

The same guy comes out every time. I found out that the price has gone up. They do great work.

I called Thompson Brothers because we had an infestation of pantry moths and also occasional silverfish. The man on the phone told me to make sure that I removed the food from my pantry and check for moths. He told me some things that the service man would do. I did as instructed and had removed the stuff from my pantry. When the exterminator came I again told him of the pantry problem. He sprayed our large house in less than 15 minutes. He did not offer any advice or spend any time looking at the pantry. From the start he stated that he would probably need to come back and he wanted to set me up on a long term contract. I found that annoying. He gave me 2 glue traps. The moths only got worse. After doing some research online and looking more closely at the pantry, I found things were worse than I suspected. I fixed the problem by removing shelving, where larva were hiding and buying moth traps at Lowes. He was the one who should have told me what I needed to do. The only reason I didn't give him an F is because he did get rid of our occasional silverfish. To add insult to injury, he called back to set up another spraying! I think he did a bad job so he could set up another visit. 95$ was ridiculous for less than 15 minutes.

They are very prompt and quick. They come out when they are supposed to and they do their business early. I would use them in the future.

Overview of chemicals and spraying process. Performed basic spraying service. Signed up for quarterly maintenance. Didn't try to up-sell, and was polite and courteous.

They talked to me about how the process works and how the chemicals perform pest control. They arrived exactly when they were scheduled. They talked to my wife about her questions. They performed the pest control inside and outside the home. They gave a thorough report of their findings.

Danny calls the day of or before to verify. The company is great!

They sent someone within a couple of hours but were unable to determine what was causing the problems. I was very happy with their quick response. I am planning to call them for treatment.

They didn't charge anything for the inspection and they were great. They came on time and they seemed thorough. The person who came out was really nice too. I might use their services in the future.
