Spartanburg was decimated with several big hail storms, and most people had to replace their roof. We saw many roofers working in our neighborhood and heard stories of them being gone when the roofs they installed leaked. We were irritated that so many roofers refused to give us an estimate. They would say they just wanted the insurance money. We wanted a real estimate. Leon gave us one, which was very reasonable. We like the fact that he has such a good name in town. We liked that he has his own crew rather than hiring day workers from Home Depot! The crew did an excellent job on our roof. I had to mark him down for punctuality because it took a very long time to get our roof started due to the incredible demand for roofers at that time. However we thought it was service worth waiting for.

A coworker recommended Leon Easler as a good honest Christian man whom I should get a quote from for a new roof. Leon came to my house right away to show me the different styles of shingles he had and give an estimate. His estimate was much lower than the other estimates I had received and he was using Elk 30 year architectural shingles. I took nearly a year in deciding on a color to use and Leon was very patient and helped me in making up my mind as I called him several times over the year. He brought samples of whole shingles by my work for me to look at and he named different houses around town that he had done with various colors of shingles so I could view them. He even met with me one Saturday evening and drove me around to show me different houses with the different colors of shingles he used. When I finally decided on the specific color of shingle then he and his crew came right out and did a great job in replacing my roof. They removed the old turbines and installed a ridge vent as well as replacing damaged wood around my chimney. They cleaned up everything and did not leave any mess. When I payed him after the work was finished then he shook my hand and told me to call him if I had any problems. He said that as long was alive then the work would be covered. I was very impressed by his honesty and quality of work as well as his patience and his going out of his way to accommodate my indecisiveness in selecting a color for my house.
