Steamatic of Greater Greenville

We sold our house and the home inspector found mold in the crawl space during the new homeowner's inspection. We needed to remediate the mold prior to closing, but we were already living in a different city. I contacted several companies for quotes and Steamatic of Great Greenville was BY FAR the quickest to respond in getting out to our house to provide a quote, as well as the cheapest regarding mold remediation we needed performed. They worked with us being out of town during the remediation activities, kept us up to date on their progress, and sent receipts by email when requested. Their quick service enabled us to keep the closing date on the sale of our house. I would recommend this company.

They always provided proactive, quality work. They never failed to take time to listen, react, and answer questions. This level of service is very rare. That it was provided, without exception, is a direct reflection on the quality and work ethic of the people who were here.

They did an excellent, fantastic job. They came in under the quote. They did great work. That was the first time I used them. It was an easy process. They answered all my questions. They took care of everything and there was no problem at all.

All went well. We had to reschedule since we did not close on the house when we were supposed to. They were very accommodating

The ducts and covers are all really clean. They were prompt, but didn't re-attach a 14and quot; return to the intake plenum...kind of a big deal. An HVAC guy said that I could have had all the duct replaced with new for probably about $1200. We may go that route in the future.

We had just purchased the home and the previous owner didn't have the carpets cleaned before they moved. Our realtor called and set up the cleaning on very short notice. They responded quickly and did a great job.

They did an outstanding job. When I went to pick it up they were not happy with a small area and offered to clean it again and then delivered it for free. If they hadn't shown me the area I would not have noticed it. I was very impressed with the degree of customer service attention to detail.

Clint looked at the work being done and gave me his recommendation, but what really impressed me was his professional, friendly and respectful manner. He is knowledgeable and was able to tell me exactly what should be done in certain situations with regard to water damage and mold inspection and remediation. He even mentioned that his company has a protocol for working in homes where the family is chemically sensitive. I have no doubt that he would do an excellent job with whatever service he offers. I ended up not needing him this time, but I wouldn't hesitate to hire him if I have a problem in the future. His office staff were also genuinely very nice, patient and kind in listening to me voice my concerns and in contacting Clint to call me back when I called. In this review I checked that I did have work performed by Steamatic because while they did not do any physical work here, I did receive a very valuable second opinion in the form of a consultation.

Steamatic arrived on time, and performed all work in a very professional, and careful manner to achieve 1st class results on each and every job we have hired them to do. It looks like we will have a long-term relationship with Steamatic, and they have earned it. I will always use Clint and his team of professionals for any of their services we need.

The day we purchased our house, we realized that a cat had been living there. My husband and I are both allergic, and so we made 6 telephone calls looking for someone who could clean the carpet the next day, before our furniture arrived. Carol, at Steamatic, originally said they could not accommodate us, but then she called back to tell me they pulled a team from an ongoing industrial job to help us out. The crew arrived the next day and did a very thorough job cleaning. Carol called the following day to be sure we were satisfied with the work. The price and quick response from this company ensured that I will hire them again for carpet cleaning.

We had some very expensive draperies with significant pet odor and stain problems. We were at first interested in a cleaning on the rod because of the size and complexity of the hanging. Clint came on the day and time agreed to for the initial estimate. Because of our problems the recommendations were to take them to the shop for a more thorough cleaning. Clint assured us that he could rehang them. The results were outstanding!! While there is a little staining remaining, we were told up front that would be likely so we were not surprised. In our case the staining cannot be seen anyway so the results overall were better than expected. The draperies look great! Clint did an excellent job rehanging the draperies. One set was very long and hung in a very ornate fashion with multiple scallops and pleats (probably the wrong terminology as I'm not a decorator) over a long rod and when he left they looked exactly as they did when he came, except now they are clean and smell fresh. They picked up the rug as scheduled ($40 pick-up charge) and I was advised that the total cleaning process would be between 5-8 days. The total process took over 3 weeks to complete and return versus the 5-8 day committment. They even missed there second delivery time. After 2 weeks, we had not yet heard back from them so called and were told it was cleaned but now drying and would be a couple more days. The original delay was that it is a 5-8 day cycle but there was a large queue in front of ours so it took longer to get into the cleaning process... they never mentioned that during initial discussion... When we called again after a few more days, it was ready and they finally set up a delivery date... but it was another few days before they could deliver it... the while the furnature was located in another room pending expected delivery. My suggestion is to ensure you have a committed date from them when they will pick-up, ask if they have anything in and quot;queueand quot; ahead of them. confrm the cycle time to complete the service with an established return delivery date and quot;beforeand quot; signing up for their services.

They were 30 minutes late and didn't call. I asked them to clean beside a couple beds and go underneath the all beds as much as possible. They did not. In fact, the carpet was not even damp in any of the places I had asked to focus on. They also did not cover their shoes before entering my home so they actually made more dirt than they removed from my carpets. One of the guys was nasty with ear wax draining out his ears. I'm thinking that if he has no sense of hygene how can he possibly clean my house? They had a nice truck and machine but were out of my 2400 sq ft house in only 45 minutes. There is no way they could have done a good job at that rate. They are highly trained and I did a lot of research on the certification this group has. Too bad they did not follow through with the knowledge they are suppose to have. I was also suppose to have them do more with scotch guarding and such but just told them to leave asap. I got a carpet rake from them and that is the best thing about the whole experience.

Excellent! Clint came and checked all my areas of concern, and more. He checked for moisture, and gave me many suggestions, never pressuring me to spend any money. He told me about Steamatic electrostatic air filters for the house, which never need to be replaced, and only need to be rinsed once a month. I told him I would think about it, because we were concerned about our air quality. I did some research, and I wound up purchasing two filters, and am very happy with them. I ordered them from Clint and they arrived at my house by Fedex three days later! He was very honest and extremely helpful without ANY pressure.

Excellent. They gave us a time to come and give us an estimate and were there when they said. They made a separate trip to bring a commercial air filter to catch any mold spores in the air while the sub-flooring was being replaced. They gave us a time when they would do their work and showed up exactly when they said they would.

Our gutters had become clogged and caused our basement to flood. We called Steamatic and they came right out. After vacuuming out the water, they assured us they could save the carpet by removing, drying it and reinstalling it. This was not the case. After it was dried, they tried to reinstall it. The carpet began to fall apart and then they still charged us for it. I do not think I would call them back for this particular work.

They did a good job with the areas that they cleaned. We were told they would move the furniture themselves, but they didn t. We moved the furniture in the areas we wanted most, but in other rooms they just worked around the furniture. The areas they cleaned were very good, but where they didn t move the furniture you could really tell the difference. If we didn t have a gift certificate we would not have used them.
