I'm normally one to do the work myself because I want a job done right. This is one case where I'm glad I hired someone. In this day and age it's not always easy to get a contractor that returns your calls, arrives when he says he will, and does a great job for a fair and honest price. JT Winn is all that and then some. He goes that extra mile to make the job right and makes sure the area is clean after he finishes. I had a door with 2 sidelites replaced with double doors and they look great. He installed all the hardware and had everything working perfectly before he left. I have no qualms with recommending JT Winn for any door installation you're considering. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Be very specific on the work you want done. The color of our new door does not match the trim he brought or our other doors, and not sanded on the edges where he needed to shave off to fit the frame. Otherwise, he was very pleasant.

Super nice guy! Showed up on time, completed job in a very professional manner. Installed a rear entry door that I had done (incorrectly!) myself several years ago. He did not laugh although I'm sure he was bustin' a gut inside! Would hire him again in a heartbeat!

I would hire him again. Found and fixed a problem that the builder had already repaired (15 years ago). Builder had replaced the wood above exterior door when we discovered it was finished in MDF. Builder had replaced with plywood and painted it (Not exterior plywood). Door was not flashed properly frame had rotted.

Joe came out right away to measure and advise on what doors to order, measurements to use, etc. Between the two of us, there was a misunderstanding around the size of doors to order for my space, and it required a good bit of extra reframing work on his part to get them to fit. But he made it work! His attitude throughout was respectful, upbeat, and confident, which alleviated my concerns. He was even receptive to advice from the man who ordered the doors for me when Joe encountered a problem with the bottom bolt of the door. He was the definition of diligence. This is a project I have been dreading getting done because I just didn t know where to start and it s hard to get contractors to return calls or show up. Joe was immediately responsive to texts and calls and he showed up when he said he would. He wasn t going to charge me extra for the reframing beyond his original estimate, but I insisted on paying extra for his time and effort. It s worth it to me to pay for a fair job well done and Joe most definitely did that. I would absolutely use him again and recommend him to friends.

I do not often leave reviews unless I am thoroughly impressed. Joe came out promptly and looked at the work that needed to be done. He completed the work on time, his craftsmanship was awesome, and he was very honest and easy to talk to. You will be happy going with him.
