+ -1 moreTerrible customer service! How is asking for an estimate/quote before a repair so unreasonable? What if I only have $800 in my checking account and the repair person then charges $900? Overall very disappointing experience and I hope to never have to use them.
Description of Work: I called to ask for a quote to repair the heating unit for my pool and was told that I would be contacted again for more details and possible dates. The young man quickly called me back, A for punctuality, but he said they would charge $85 an hour plus parts for the repair. I reiterated that I only needed a quote because I needed to know how much to budget for before the repair, he said it would be $85 an hour and they would not be able to quote me until they were working on the job. I said to the young man that when I take my car in for repair I need to know how much to budget before they start fixing the car or otherwise I might not be able to pay the mechanic, he agreed and just said it was $85 an hour.

+ -1 moreWe spent about $35000. We would probably use them again. We did have some problems. However, they did work it out on time. So as far as repeat service, they would be someone that I would recommend.
Description of Work: Genco Pools & Spas installed a swimming pool for us. They started in June and were finished in September. It was a gunite swimming pool which is 16 by 32.

+ -1 moreThey would show up on time when it was time to get payments for the pool and spa, but otherwise they were always late and they would leave early. It took them over 3 months to complete it and they left my yard all tore up. They would return my calls and there wasn t any follow up from the company. Other than that, most of the work was alright and there wasn t anything wrong with the spa.
Description of Work: They put in an 18x36 foot pool and a spa for me.

We haven't had a single thing go wrong with the spa and that was credit to their crew who installed it right. Things couldn t have gone any better in this experience and we loved the results and the spa. I couldn t remember what the price was for the installation.
Description of Work: I had them install a new 8-person spa in our home.

+ -1 moreI encountered some communication problems right from the start. They had a hard time letting me know before hand when they would be coming to work. There were also a few minor problems that they were able to fix such as not installing the ladder and using the wrong grout on the tile. I do give them credit for correcting these things, but, am not certain I would go as far as to hire them again.
Description of Work: Genco installed an 18x36 ft. in ground swimming pool along with the decking.
