Energy Sharks was there to help an already tough situation when my AC unit needed to be replaced. From the beginning, they had fast response and provided great communication throughout the process. Installation of the new unit was fast, professional, and organized. Overall great experience

Had EnergySharks install a new upstairs unit, some new ductwork and an attic fan. The price was reasonable, the warranty coverage was great, and the work was completed quickly. However, I noticed last year that the attic fan stopped working, but it had a lifetime warranty so it should be a quick fix (I thought). I was wrong. Over the last 12 months I have called 10 times about this issue (I keep a log of calls). I've talked to Tonya at the office several times, and each time she said someone would call about the issue. Call-backs rarely happened. I did talk to a technician twice, who said these fans rarely break - which could be true, but I still needed it fixed. On the second call after some troubleshooting the technician agreed that it should be replaced but then never followed through. I had a friend give me the owner Phil's phone number - I called and left a message but was never called back. So this is a buyer beware warning - the work they do might never need servicing, but if the warranty is needed, be prepared for a long, frustrating fight. The attic fan is not expensive item, but I've seen no indication that the response from Energy Sharks would be different if there was a major equipment failure. The warranty should be honored either way. I hate to leave a negative review but I'm not sure what else I can do.

I hired Energy Shark Air and Heating. To install a new AC system. After explaining to Phil the owner, my current system is short cycling. He explained the old unit was definitely sized wrong He said I needed an additional return ductwork for $750. ( I realize now the new AC system would have been sized correctly, so the additional ductwork, return was not actually necessary). However, I finally changed the filter a year later. Because the ductwork was not installed correctly. When I removed the filter I noticed a hack job, the truss was cut and the duct was squeezed through the truss in the the shape of a tear drop. When I brought this to his attention, I included comments from peers in his industry. They all agreed the installer did a horrible job. He called them all idiots!! He explained to me his installers had no choice because the opening could not fit the ductwork. When I went up to my attic to inspect what he told me. There definitely is a lot more workable space to have it installed correctly without cutting the truss and squeezing the duct into a tight space. The ductwork is incorrectly installed and could have been done more professionally. Phil did have his installer call me to repair!! I refused to allow them to return. If they thought the installation the first time was good, to leave it in that condition. I am afraid to allow them back to do anything in my house. I am demanding a full refund amount of so I can hire a real professional company to do it right !! ( I have photos to prove my situation).

The installation team may have had an off day. I had to ask that the unit be leveled out, then asked for them to test the unit because no AC was coming out, only heat. That was corrected before they left. Now the heat will not come on, I left a message with the office to see what they could do.

You will not find anyone better than energy sharks from Simpsonville. If you check around you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Please give them a call, you'll be surprise. The crew showed up on time. They went right to work. They got the job done and cleaned up.

Amazing service, and best price. My heat pump died, talked to 3 contractors, 2 gave me prices, the 3rd could not get the size we needed for weeks. Phil came out the next day, looked everything over good, showed and explained to us why our house had never been very comfortable. 3 days later they came out, put in the new unit, enlarged the existing return air grill and ductwork, added another new return, and a new supply in one room. The new unit works fantastic. Our house has never been this comfortable. No more whistling and/or air noise. Temperature is now even from room to room. We love it and cannot recommend Phil and Energy Sharks more strongly. Even with the added cost of enlarging one return and adding another return and supply, he was still a couple of hundred bucks cheaper than the next guy who was not doing anything extra. On time, neat, cleaned up, done in less than a day.

I would like to give a shout out to Energy Sharks and Phil Esposito for the great and awesome work they did on replacing my AC/Heat pack unit . My unit went out during the last real cold snap and with in Hours my new unit was ordered and installed the very next day. The crew was very professional and had us up and running in about 3 hours. Phil and Danny could not keep on the same page and meet deadlines as they stated they could.

I had several proposals to fix our situation with a very loud AC unit. They actually replaced the gas furnace, outdoor AC unit, and coil for about the same price as the other quotes for just replacing the outdoor unit. They made adjustments to the ductwork to improve airflow and it has made a great improvement. The owner actually listened and answered my questions and explained his reasons for what he proposed vs. just selling me another AC unit. His install team was great too. They were very professional and quick. I had the same thing done earlier in the year in another property I owned in VA, and it took that crew a day and a half to complete the install with two people. Phil's crew of four guys was in and out in about 3 hours. I highly recommend Energy Sharks.
