I can not say I would recommend this company. In the beginning, for weed control, this company did a fair job. We then discussed a project to get several trees planted and have irrigation put into place for the trees. We told the proprietor of the company what our budget was for this project. We had a specific date scheduled for the company to be out to trench the yard for the irrigation and auger the holes for the total of 32 trees we were investing in...my husband took the day off work to be here in case help or questions came up. I called the company to find out what time to expect them here, they had forgotten they scheduled the day for us. Needless to say they were late arriving and didn't even have all the basic tools they need. We had to lend them our tape measure. We had stated where we wanted the trees and the spacing to use, but my husband and I had to actually mark the yard (using our own tape measures and spray paint) where the trees were to be planted. The cost kept changing as the head of this project kept altering his plan of action. Another day when they were due to be out to work on this project, the head of the project had not procured the needed supplies ahead of time, so they had to go to the home improvement store before coming out to begin the day, then the store did not have all the supplies that were needed. They were about 3 hours late arriving at our home to begin work for that day. Another day I actually had to make a trip to the home improvement store to procure the irrigation timer to be used because the project head had not checked ahead of time if his local home improvement store had the product in stock. Then after all this, the method of irrigation did not have enough pressure to work properly. We were told that he would now recommend making a cut into the water main to feed the irrigation system. This then drove the cost of the project way over our stated available budget. Needless to say we just had them back-fill the trench without the irrigation system. The quality of this was very poor...I was told to give the back-fill some time and allow the rain to help soften the edges and that would help it smooth out. I did this, but when I contacted the company about the fact that the trenched area had not softened at all I was then informed they did not guarantee that work, nor would be be given any guarantee on the trees, which a one year guarantee had been verbally told to me. Needless to say we now need to purchase top soil and properly get the trenched area filled back in and will find another company for any future landscaping needs.
