AMERICAN WOOD FENCES DECK

I contracted AWFD to install a fence like my neighbors. The installation was frustrating due to a lack of communication. The sales agent told me he would be there at the beginning of the job and would relay all the details. The crew arrived without any idea of the fence layout and the sales agent was not present. The fence is now set in 6 inches on one side. The construction of the fence does not match my neighbors. I found out after installation that AWFD does not build the kind of fence I asked for because it will not last. However, there are several of these fences in my neighborhood. I wanted the boxed in look of a shadowbox fence and now have the ugly side facing my house. They built the fence with exposed posts where my neighbor's post are enclosed. When I challenged the difference, I was told everybody wants something for nothing and they would come remove the fence entirely if I did not want it. Also, AWFD subcontracts its fence builds.

It took about a week to build and if there is anything I would change it would be to build it bigger. As far as holding up in the weather; it did warp but they fixed it by replacing just one board. They were professional and we had no problems. They showed up when they wanted but it was always early. We didn't decide on a time so they really couldn't be late as there was no set time. They built it exactly the way I wanted it with high quality products. They charged me what they quoted me.

All A s for this company. They were just the greatest. They were at my home as scheduled, they were very well prepared, and they were extremely professional. I have no complaints about anything. I can honestly say they are the best of the best. However, I do regret not remembering the price or keeping the bill handy because many people have asked me how much it cost because it was just so beautifully done. I do not remember but it was reasonable for the hard work they did to get it perfect for me.
