After several phone conversations, pics of the furniture both up and downstairs , questions answered about what we would move ( boxes, dishes etc) we received an estimated cost of $3400. The week before the move we asked if they would have room for 4 safes we had a safe mover who would do it if not, . Detailed descriptions again were provided about size and weight. The individual we spoke with said it would not be a problem and since the base fee is by the hour it would add some to the total based on the added time needed. 5 guys showed up who were hard workers, polite and focused. They made quick work of the safes which they loaded first. 30 minutes extra tops. When they had almost finished the down stairs they said the truck was full so they were heading to the new house. We were shocked. We had moved three years prior, nothing added to contents during that time except a safe which was already at the new location, no new furniture bookshelves etc and it was done in 1 load with the same size truck. I took a pic of the “ full” truck and they left. They also left some items from the downstairs. They left glass shelves from curio cabinets, didn’t even wrap them just stacked them on the kitchen counter. The upstairs was all bedroom stuff. There was clearly room on the truck to take bed frames and mattresses. They unloaded then asked my wife to sign basically a blank check. The foreman said he needed her to sign the form so he could process the payment which we were paying with a debit card when she asked what the amount was he said he didn’t know. She said she couldn’t sign the form until she knew what the total was so he looked through some paperwork and came up with three or four different numbers wasn’t sure about this, but they added that but then they weren’t there as long and after a while it became clear that he just wanted her to sign the form and he was going to turn it over to the office and they would process whatever they wanted . So the foreman got someone on the phone and they told him $1400 over the estimate. After a bunch of questions from us the bottom line was they had added $700 to the original estimate which we could live with but that number wasn’t given to us until a guy from the office literally got on the phone screamed at my wife, told her he was calling the police that we were trying to steal their property and that if she didn’t sign the form, they were gonna put everything back on the truck and take it back to their storage location and we’d be charged the fees to reload the truck and store the furniture , because that piece of paper was there property and she was trying to steal it. He didn’t even say how did things go, how are you he was full blown Aspberegers meltdown before my wife even said hello he immediately launched into a fit when she did speak the first thing she said was I’m not going to speak to you unless you can speak civil to me. His reply was I’m not going to speak civil to you until you stop trying to steal our property. It Was unbelievable and 64 years I have never seen or heard such without any explanation or discussion he literally just didn’t even say hello ma’am my name is ———- and we based the additional charges on ——-he just went off. I think he thought we were just two old people and he could trample us under his feet like he does everyone else. The workers indicated that was par for the course. When I asked one of the workers about not taking anything from the upstairs and they’re still being room on the truck, what he said (reading between the lines) was something along the lines of well when they tell us that we’re done or our time is up , we don’t have any choice we have to just say OK we’re full or we’ve reached this point and we close it up and we leave he said it’s not the first time it happened and was apologetic about it. We still tipped all of them hundred dollars each because they did work hard and they did work fast and in the end I accepted his explanation after hearing and dealing with the office person that it wasn’t them but rather they were told you’re done close the doors and go. We ended up using another moving service and paid them $2400 to get the upstairs moved and looking into small claims court with the first set of pirates.

Absolutly excellent. They charge by the hour but they are extremly effiecent. I estimated 3hrs of moving work but it only took them two hours to get things wrapped and packed. At the new place they took 2hrs to get unloaded. They set up the living and bed room with furniture and put the boxes in the empty spaces and it made things easy to put away. This crew was just spot on and calm. Once you call and make a reservation they call you 48 hrs before moving date and they did. They also called me the morning of the move prior to showing up they were very timely in all aspects of the move

The delivery went well. They did a nice job, but the only "brain" was the foreman. My gasoline charges were several hundred dollars . For a 5 or 6 mile trip they charged me a couple of hundred dollars in gas surcharges. I know they need to follow certain routes so they may have gone over 6 miles,but that extra bit should not have resulted in a couple of hundred bucks in gas surcharges. Let me go over the other thing chronologically. One of the men asked to use my bathroom and I of course said yes. About 45 minutes later he asked to go again I said yes. This was on a Wednesday. On Thursday evening we noticed that some of my wife's medication was gone. There was a whole new bottle that was empty! I called to report the event to the moving company and a guy who hadn't given his name answered. I told him of the problem and he said he would check and get back to me Friday PM. I never got a call. I can't say for sure the guy took the pills but it sure looks that way. Those were scheduled pills and my wife can't get more for a month, thus suffering while the junkie gets high. I recommend keeping an eye on them and closing areas off you have important things in. TOO BAD 1 BAD APPLE RUINED A BETTER RATING FOR HIS TEAM. The other 3 were fine.
Description of Work: Movers packaged the baby grand piano for safety, loaded it on their truck and delivered it to my house. They then unwrapped the piano, put it back together.

Showed up promptly. Head man brought folder with papers and first thing he did was have me sign 3 or 4 documents with rules, policies and also the Bill of Lading and Freight Bill which he signed in 4 places with a rapid, distinctive signature. Payment was required by cash or debit card only. After they had moved items to new home, head man was given debit card for payment and I assume he used the old fashioned press devise to record name and account number and amount ($1567.33). He gave me a receipt which was the Bill of Lading and Freight Bill after I paid and he signed it again 4 times like he did when he arrived that morning and gave it to me as a receipt and everything appeared to be in order as far as payment was concerned. I didn't sign this copy and never gave it a thought until Friday evening when my wife was checking our bank account on line and asked me about the amount which was $100.00 more than the amount on my Bill of Lading and Freight Bill. I called All My Sons Moving and Storage Monday morning and spoke with Larry and requested to speak to someone about a payment issue on a recent move. He informed me that he was one of the managers and could help me. I told him I wanted to find out why I had signed a debit for $1567.33 and my Bill of Lading and Freight Bill total charges was $1567.33 and my bank account showed a debit for $1667.33. He informed me Monday was their busiest day and he would look for the "hard copy" of my bill and get back to me but it probably wouldn't be that day. I really tried to be as courteous as I could be and informed him that I would think the company would want to resolve an issue like this in a timely manner and at some point while I was talking he angrily stated "wait a minute" and put me on hold for less than a minute and had the "hard copy" Had a bad attitude by that time and started going over charges for labor, transportation, etc and I informed him I had no problem with the price and that I only wanted to know about the discrepancy between my debit card receipt ($1557.33) and Bill of Lading and Freight Bill total charges ($1557.33). HIs only reply about 3 times was everything is in order and you were charged correctly. I asked him what his total was on the Bill of Lading and Freight Bill and he stated $1667.33. I asked if he had a copy of my debit receipt and he said he did and I asked the total and he informed me it was $1667.33. I asked if the 6 looked like it possibly could have been changed from a 5 and he and he stated "Good Day Sir" and hung up on me. I took my debit receipt and Bill of Lading and Freight Bill to my bank and waited for a manager who informed the amount could not be changed on a debit receipt and I should call and ask for my money back but they couldn't do anything. Before talking with Larry at All My Sons, I thought there could be some sort of explanation for this. Like I mentioned above, I signed a Bill of Lading and Freight Bill as soon as the movers arrived and was given another after paying when the job was done.The last one was completely filled out and signed four times and initialed twice by the mover in my presence with a total of $1557.63 but not signed by me. I didn't give this any thought at the time and assumed that this along with my debit receipt was sufficient. The move from my old house seemed to go ok although I found new scratches and indented areas in my old home. In my new home I noted a 36 inch and a 21 inch scratch/indented area where they pushed my washing machine over hardwood floors and informed the 2 of the movers of this and just asked them to please be careful of the floors. There are many small scratches and scrapes where they carried furniture. When they left the lead mover told me I could go to Home Depot and buy a pencil to cover this up and you wouldn't be able to tell it and I didn't even reply. After they left I found 5 gouged out areas in the hall. I didn't complaint because I didn't figure it would go anywhere and it would take a lot more than a touch up pencil.

Multiple smoke and phone breaks. Inappropriate music. Offer to do side work unpacking boxes the following day. Dropped boxes and did not notifiy me of the sound of broken glass. By 530 they stopped putting boxes/furniture in designated rooms and left them in the garage.

Driver said "a tip would be appreciated" before they even started. They took the long way to the house after loading. I sat there and waited on them almost 20 minutes at new residence and called the office to see where they were ( the meter is running) Put a large bed together without adding the slats under the box spring (a 3am surprise!) After getting things sorted, noticed dings and scratches on furniture that wasn't there before but for less than $1/pound for damage, that isn't going to buy anything. Two fellas worked hard, the other looked a mess and seemed more concerned on how much he could charge. I did not find them through Angie's List but since they are on here...call someone else!!! Why do they need a tip? Don't they get paid by the hour? Tips are for service that is above and beyond,..not just because you showed to to do the job you were hired for. This was awkward $119/hr turned into $610 due before they unloaded.
Description of Work: Moved a 2bdrm home to a house 15 minutes from loading site. Nothing had to be packed and we moved alot of the smaller items ourselves.

They called me at 7:30 am the day of the move to tell me they would be moving me between 12 and 4:30 pm the scheduled day of the move. At 4:00 pm I called to see when they were coming seeing that I waited all day for them. They told me that they tries calling me but they got a message that my phone was shut off...??? I said the phone I am talking to you on? They then told me that they had to move me the next day because they were running behind. HUH??? The next day no 7:30 am call, so I called them at 8:30 to see if i was on the schedule. The dispatcher told me yes,that he would call me when they are on their way, around 1:00. I said no I will call you at noon to see when you are coming. I called at noon and we were set for1:00. they called at 12:30 to let me know they were coming. 1:10 pm. a man knocks on my door and tells me he is one of the movers. The driver then comes up and tells me they appreciate a tip, and the time they started is when they parked at 1:00. HUH? what were they doing for the last ten minutes? The driver stayed on the truck folding tarps while the other guy and me brought down the furniture. I told the other guy I can't help on the couch or washer or dresser. He started to bring them down by himself. I watched my antique dresser go down the stairs upside down with the drawers falling out. Come On... The driver milked this job like I had never seen anyone do. When we get to the new address he calls his dispatcher and then tells me the total is 445.60, way over my quote.. I talked to the dispatcher and he said NOTHING!!!! I called back and he still said nothing.. I paid the driver 445.60, I then had 2 dollars to my name.. The driver said what about my tip? I said you just got everything I have. He kept badgering me for a tip while they unloaded the truck. I told him not only do you have all my money but you didn't work until now... I said what about this wrapping and packing fee, you didn't pack or wrap anything. He said the truck.. They than got in their truck and left. I called the next day to get my customer number to leave a feedback, the owner told me he would call me Monday"for what? I wanted to leave feedback on their website".. Anyways that is the last I heard from them and that was a week ago...

Schedulers and Owners called premove- sounding quite positive "your in the family" line. After the move- never heard a word or call back even though I called to discuss multiple times, post move issues of costs and damages. They were suppose to send 4 people. Sent 3. Showed late. I was boxed but furniture had to padded. Just fit on the truck as planned. Was suppose to be an AM move but due to the shortage of a person it went later. Time grossly went over projected cost. They added additional charges that were not presented at time of scheduling. These people are not truthful, they are wolves in sheeps clothing. DO NOT USE this company.

TRUCK OVERLOADED. THAY HAD TO MAKE TWO TRIPS TO TN AND BACK TO GET ALL OUR THINGS IN NEW HOME. THAY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB LOADING. MADE TWO TRIPS IN TWO DAYS FOR NO EXTRA CHARGE. Description of Work: They moved a 2 nd floor 2 bedroom apt 3 miles to new address estimate was 2 hours and an hour of travel time 300.00 it probably would have been 2 hours if not for the half hour delay in starting and breaks they took they insisted on wrapping everything in blankets to run the clock up even though told not to would not unload truck till they got payment which was 244.00 over estimate . I feel if they are going to give estimates they need to see what they will be moving before estimate is given.

A little backstory first, I am a fully combat disabled veteran that was donated a home in Greer in July 2013 by the Homes 4 Wounded Heroes program. If you watch Fox Carolina News you may have seen my story in the evening news on 24 July or on the news channel's Facebook page. The home my family and I moved into is only a half a mile away from where we were renting. I don't have the ability to move many things myself so I needed help moving. All My Sons in Simpsonville canceled my original appointment because they were unable to contact me before the move date to confirm the appointment. I contacted them a week prior to the move and confirmed details with them, but they canceled my move without notice. I called the day of the move to see where my movers were and was then told about the cancellation. All My Sons said they could still get a three man crew to me in approximately 3 or so hours. I was initially quoted for a four man crew and was still charged this price for three men and a small truck. Originally the move should have taken place at 9:00am, the movers showed up at 12:00pm without any prior notice which I told All My Sons to contact me when they are in route. only two hours to complete since it was small, I gave a D for quality since they did not break anything. All my goods were placed just inside the doorway and not any further. At the end they tried to peddle a tip for the terrible service. I was forced to pay with credit card and the numbers and info of my card were permanently imprinted on the receipt in which a copy was mine and the driver took the other copies. The price of the move written on the receipt was different than what was charged to my card, then hours later another small charge ended up on my card, the two amounts still do not add up the written receipt price. This has prompted me to take measures to prevent my identity from being stolen since my card information was in who knows who's hands. Please do not use this company's services.

Exceedingly well. Showed up on time with 4 men and had us loaded in about 5 hours. Arrived 680 miles away on time with 2 men. They worked extremely hard (getting stuff into this new house was difficult) but never complained, never said a cross word, were hustling the whole time. Everyone involved in our move from the office staff to the estimator to the movers to the extra help on moving day was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. This was a big move with a great deal of stress for us but All My Sons did a terrific job. And - they were significantly cheaper than their competition! We were extremely satisfied with all phases of the transaction.

Movers were scheduled to arrive between 7:30am and 9:30am. They arrive at 7:15 and got started right away. They securely and safely wrapped all my furniture and worked fast. They were able to do an appliance swap for me at my brothers house on the way to our new home and still finished earlier than quoted. My move went quickly an successfully thanks to they guys at All My Sons. Highly recommend.
