I had a terrible experience with her. She came out an I was asking her different things like what I could do to remodel the bathroom, using a closet to put the toilet in and doing different things and she said, "Okay, I'll give you some ideas." It was several weeks and I hadn't heard from her so I called her back and she said, "Yeah, we'll come out." She came out with an associate and she had not given me ideas but had a plan and had take down floors, wall cover, the sink and everything and had the estimate like $20,000.00. I was just shocked because she had picked out everything. No choices and no ideas but a plan and I'm like, "Ah! Okay, we'll think about it." She called me back and I said, "No, I'm not gonna do this, I'm gonna think about this further." Then she sent me a bill for $800.00 for all the time she has spent on picking out tank, floor cover and everything. It was just a general plan of the things I could do. She came out with everything picked out and a price. I called her back and I said, "I'm not paying this bill. I did not ask you to do this. We did not discuss anything and I did not sign a contract." After two months, she gave me a 20% for the late payment so it ended up like $850.00 and then she took me to small claims court. We had a quote friend who was a lawyer and we called him and he said, "This is ridiculous." He did not put papers in time when he was supposed to so I had to go to the small claims court and I had to pay her $850.00 for nothing. Then I got this contractor to come out and he gave me ideas, we talked about it, then we signed a contract and then he did it. That's the normal way things are done and I did not pay him a dime for his consultation or anything and nowhere did she tell me that she was gonna charge me for consultation. After my experience with her, I just had to hold everything on hold because I was so upset.
