He said the Freon was leaking somewhere, but did not test as to where. He assumed it was in the evaporator which is imbedded in the back of the fridge -- almost impossible to get to. The suspected part was $261 and labor $250, and then no guarantee that all the moisture could be vacuumed (with acid treatment) out, so it may still not work well. He advised me to buy a different refrigerator and told me one place where I could buy used if I preferred. But I will probably get a new one. I talked to 3 other repairmen about the symptoms, and they agreed with the advice to buy another. I am very disappointed that refrigerators are designed so that some things are almost impossible to work on. I like my fridge layout better than anything I saw in the stores. So am waiting a couple weeks until Memorial Day sales.
Description of Work: My refrigerator was not cool enough -- both fridge and freezer at 48 degrees. I left a phone msg on the weekend and he called me before 8am on Monday and was there within the hour.

Description of Work: I have used this service many times and been very satisfied, recommending him to other people. I had two issues this time, my washer was repaired that day, was told there was nothing wrong mechanically with the icemaker but it continued to leak. I have made several calls he did return approximately two weeks after I called, it is still leaking. I called again on I called again on 10/1 and patiently waited until 10/10 to call again, still no response. I am not expecting this to be fixed for free, he has not replaced any parts so far. I worked in Customer Service for almost 37 years, the last 12 in a manufacturing repair department. I can tell you this is not the way you treat your customers, without customers you would not have a business.

Very prompt, courteous and willing to work around our schedule both trips. He had the part in stock to repair my washing machine, but had to return to repair the ice maker. Explained in detail what was causing the problem, and showed me the defective parts. Highly recommend.

Brad Nichols was called the day before Thanksgiving and he came right out to see what he could do to help us. Since the part had to be ordered and we were going out of town, he returned the following week and repaired it for us. He is a blessing to our community!!
