I would love to be leaving a great review, but sadly I can't. 14 months since we signed the contract and finally got everything semi-working, I mean it's not plumbed right (even after being done twice) but it works. That is really sad to say since we paid sooo much! It got ridiculous, us having to beg them to come out and just finish the project. When we signed the contract the very latest our pool & hot tub were to be done was end of January, yes we had rain but not enough to delay until October! So many times we called with no answer, so many unanswered texts, so many broken promises, so many times that someone was going to be there and waiting at home all day and no one showed up. Now I can say that the guys that did our concrete and the guys that did our stone around the hot tub really did great jobs! It is not worth all the headache, frustration and tears.

Why are you not on these websites trashing them? We don't know what will make you happy [Member Name Removed]. Oasis has went above and beyond for you. Oasis Pools was just at your house 2 days ago. We see you didn't put that in the review. Oasis Pools will keep continuing to try to satisfy you just like all of our other hundreds of happy customers.

Came in the first month in a hurry digging out the pool. Tore out waterline and sewer lines without notifying me about it and left hurriedly. After 3 months, I had to hire another contractor to backfill and clean up the mess. I would call every couple of weeks and be told they were sending someone out. But no one ever showed. Finally, after a year, they poured the concrete patio around the pool. After 13 months of them having my money and giving every excuse in the world as to why and when it will be completed, it is still not even close to being completed. I told them not to come back, and I am having to hire another company to complete the job. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Just review the attached photos, and you will see the mess they have made in my backyard and in 13 months what they have accomplished. If you want excuses, hire them. If you want a pool, find a reputable dealer!

In response to Mr. [Member Name Removed] Review- Oasis Pools, Inc is sorry that he is trying to put a bad review on us. We were not even contracted with Mr. [Member Name Removed], we were in a contract with his girlfriend. They live in a very remote town far away with little resources to get materials. I explained this to her when we was in contract to build her a pool. She then bought a custom built pool that had to be ordered and took months to come in. Then once pool was in, we was behind on schedule and took us longer to get done. Once started with them being in a remote town with little resources, materials was hard to get and took extra time. We went thru the winter season and came into a time to get pool done. Again, materials to complete pool was hard to get. There pool would complete and finished today if not for weather conditions (rain storms). And not to mention that they are behind on their draws for contract of pool. We was going to finish in good faith and hoping they would pay us.

Very timely, with the all of the subcontractors there for their appointed tasks. Any little thing that comes up with the ownership of a pool, Caroline is more than happy get us back on track and back in the pool!

The best compliment one can give is to use one’s services on a big purchase again. Caroline is amazing! She built our first pool in 5/2010. We built another house in 2018 and only contacted her for the next pool. Over the years, we not only have a client relationship, but we now have a great friendship. I would use her again in a skinny minute!!

It went well the job was handled well. They where very helpful throughout the whole process and was very impressed with there way of doing business. My parents still buy all their chemicals there and Caroline is always a great help to them. Would definitely use them again.

Terrible. Stay away from this company. Caroline will take your money and lie to your face with a smile. July 8th Signed Contract for Pool, told Caroline would be in touch and keep us updated on all proceedings • Normally 2 wks for steel with covid 3 to 4 o Turned into 8 weeks  4 wk delay July 28th I texted Caroline for an update “Still waiting hopefully soon” August 4th I texted Caroline for an update “I’ll check they are a little behind” August 11th I texted Caroline for an update “I’ll check” August 12th Looking at another 2.5 weeks August 24th Pool Dug August 28th Pool Backfilled, wait 4 wks for soil to settle, 7 Weeks Poll will be completed • 4 wks to backfill 09/25 • Pool scheduled to be completed 10/16 September 9th, will check next week to see how soil is settling then next week for the final grade September 18th will be back late next week to check September 24th will be by next week to check October 6th Final Grade Completed • 1 Wk late from Backfill date October 8th Next week on Electric, Johnny has to get equipment set first October 9th First of next week for Johnny October 15th Johnny completed pool plumbing • Electrician finishing up pool and coming by 10/20 • Electrician 1 wk late October 22nd Electrician quoted October 26th Lining up Concrete October 30 lining up concrete for next Friday • Concrete lined up for 11/6 November 2nd Eladio coming by to look at steps to form • As of 11/9 Eladio has not come by November 3rd lining up concrete for next week November 6th Now will be here 11/10 to form and pour • Currently 3 wks past what we were told for completion date November 9th Electrical completed, gas needs to be tied into house November 10th weather permitting forming and pouring the pool today • Now will be here November 16 • Currently 5 wks past what we were told for completion date November 18th Concrete poured. Will be back on November 30th to put in liner Gas still not hooked up. Carolyn needs to set up inspection. November 30th It rained and a little behind will get back to me by end of day for schedule December 1st Still have not heard. Now too cold to put liner in Gas still not hooked up Carolyn has not set up inspection December 4th Liner will go in today to “appease” me Currently 9 wks past what we were told for completion date. December 4th-Text message saying it may rain so Johnny wont be able to get it done. • Will be Monday or Tuesday at the latest • Put in for the gas permit yesterday (Dec 3rd) will call when it is approved December 8th too cool for liner will be tomorrow December 9th Liner in started filling the pool December 10th finishing up the skimmer • Now the light for the pool isn’t correct. December 11th Should hear on the permit this up coming week for the heater • Will be down first of the week to put in chemicals December 15th. Asked the status of the pool and the heater • Permit should be completed this week o See a pattern on how she lies like a rug • Will be down Thursday to start o Also she how she lies constantly about dates December 21- Gas wont be ready but will be there to start pool and put in chemicals December 22- Ben not responding county is backed up. Working on Ben to get heater hooked up. January 21st- Heater hooked up and does not work. Igniter is bad. January 21- I picked up the new igniter and Ben coming tomorrow January 22- Called and texted Ben no response Sunday 24- Ben “Technically Done” but will put in igniter towards middle of the week. Will let me know Tomorrow date and time. January 27- Called and texted Ben, Thursday afternoon January 28- Texted asking what time, Friday morning was the response January 29- 1:20pm claims on his way and got a call son was in fight will come out Sunday afternoon, he Said this only because it is scheduled to rain Sunday and wont be able to January 31- Checked on when he was coming, no response. February 1st- Texted Caroline about plans for this week and no response, texted Ben no response • Light still not installed • Ladder still not installed • Robot cleaner still not looked at • Heater still does not work o Paid $3300 for heater and $5600 cash to plumber at the urging of Caroline, to install on August 28th still not working Currently 17 weeks behind completion date February 2- Inquired on if Ben contacted. Claims coming some night this week. • Asked about robot cleaner that broke on December 23rd. Claiming because I broke it they can not swap it out or refund me. • Light may be in on Thursday • To date Caroline still has not had the permit pulled for the heater. Currently 7 months from signing of contract to date have paid $49,200.00 February 4th – Still have not heard about the heater or the other items not installed. February 4th- Called Pentair myself and was told the items were never registered. • Was not told or instructed by Oasis that they needed to be registered • Went on Pentair website registered all the products and started a claim for the heather and cleaner • Contacted Oasis and asked for an invoice for the heater that was never provided • Claims started by Pentair and sent to local reps for service February 8th – Service man looked at the heater and the ignitor is fine there is an issue with the gas flow. Needs to test the gas pressure. February 10th-Contacted electrician to fix the outlets that were not properly installed by Carolines Electrician. • Heard “good news” after six months the light will be in and will be installed next week February 12th- Had contractor look at outlet • Outlet not grounded • Outlet not GFI as needed by code • Outlet hot on both sides • Gas line not grounded • Heater not grounded properly • Electrical box doesn’t shut properly • Electric not grounded properly? • 100 amp going to pool and 130 amps in the box • No copy of the building permit or gas and electrical • No inspection of gas or electrical February 22nd- Had Viper Electric fix the problems with the electrical panel. $285 February 24th – Still have not seen anyone from Oasis. Claims this week light will be put in. February 24th- Serviceman hired by Pentair looked at heater and the wrong size pipe was used and is not Letting enough gas flow to fire heater. February 28th-Light being put in this week. This is Three weeks after were told it would be put in. • 21 Weeks behind when told it would be completed.

Pool inspection was performed without me being present as multiple inspections were being conducted at once. Was told that there were minor issues with the concrete in one corner and that the main pool pump would not start. Previous owner were able to get pump started after the inspection was completed. Winter moisture was the primary issue. However, come spring just a week before Oasis Pools was supposed to come out to open the pool the cover and the buckets the previous owners used fell into the deep end. The next day I noticed that the liner was ripping as the liner was very brittle and major discoloration between where the water level had been versus were it was not. The liner was supposed to be only a couple of years old. Ended up ordering a new liner. When I took my family up to select the liner, we were shown samples that were available. We all actually agreed on one sample fairly quickly and then the next day was told that was no longer available and that we had to pick another sample. The entire family was tremendously disappointed and I do not understand why the samples have not been removed from the selection if they are no longer available. Was told that the liner would be arrive in about 10 days and then they would call to set up when the liner was to be installed. After 12 business days I called and the liner was not in, but was scheduled to be in two days later. The liner did arrive and I was told that I would get a call to schedule the installation. Call never came. I ended up calling multiple times and finally got a text message that they would be doing the scheduling on Monday morning and would be notified what day our liner installation would be scheduled for. Monday late afternoon after not getting any messages, I texted the company and was texted back "I think you are Wednesday". Wednesday came and no one showed up and no message from the company. So I texted the company again just to be told that they are a day or so behind. I got a gut feeling that they were going to push my liner installation into the weekend so I made sure they understood that we do not allow any work to be done on our property on Saturdays. In which I got back that if I didn't allow the installation to occur on Saturday then they would attempt to work me into the following week, but they would try to get it installed this week. The initial installation began on Thursday the following week. Once they installed the liner we had to fill the pool half way and then they were suppose to come out the next day to finish the installation. As directed I notified the company that the pool was filled half way, which happened to be first thing Friday morning. I was told the guys would be out there later that day to finish the install. However, it became clear that afternoon that they were not going to show up. I contacted the owner who said she would try to get the guys out there but it looked like it was not going to get finished till the following week. In which time, I stated that was unacceptable as I had visitors coming and needed the pool to be ready for their visit. The owner and one of her workers did finally show up around 5 pm that night and finished the job. The old liner and tools were left and were not picked up for a couple of weeks following and I ended up returning one tool to the store myself. I had to also have them come back out to push the shallow end corners back in as they pull out due to not enough bead lock was used. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable however communication and scheduling is horrifying. If I had to used them for installation I would make sure that everything is in writing and would still think twice.

Poor service. Promised to be at location at certain times, but didn't show up or showed up several hours late. Service providers cut a pipe that was needed. Left a mess of concrete. After I called, they did come clean up, but still a sloppy job. They did install the liner well, but all filter work was less than satisfactory.
Description of Work: Installed a new filter system and liner for an in-gound pool.

Description of Work: Pool not level, concrete had to be cut out and redone. Took over a year to install because they rescheduled every thing multiple times. Routinely Didn't show up when they we're suppose to and didn't call. Sloppy work, unreliable and unprofessional.

Signed contract April 4 2013. Was not told how busy they were. Told it would be 3 wks from ordering pool to having it ready for installation. 4 months later received word they were going to start on property prep for pool. Brought out contract to check date when signed and noticed WRONG COLOR had been written by pool person. She knew the color we had chosen because it was a MAJOR decision and discussion. We wanted California. Pool person suggested Pacific. She said we would be much happier with the blue--it was the one in all the pools I was looking at in the brochure sample. Took color samples and had family input. Decided to go with Pacific. Pool person wrote down OCEAN. If you are unaware of the pool color shades and differences imagine going from aqua to dark blue. It was that much of a difference. When she was confronted about it the day they were bringing the pool down our driveway she said they no longer made Pacific. If that was the case we should have been consulted. She made the mistake by writing Ocean. My mistake was sitting right at the same table and not checking the word she had written. When i said Pacific she wrote OCEAN. Sorry I am deeply upset about this error as we now have a pool in our backyard that has a deck that is more beautiful than the pool! now for the spa. We ordered a pre-fab that overflows into the pool. We wanted blue and were told that it only came in white. Ironically there was a problem last week with the piping and a return that is not allowing us to get pressure through the jets. When we asked for paperwork or instructions for the spa we were told there was none. We asked the name of the distributor and spoke to them. Sure enough when we brought up the website they had several colors to choose from for the spa we have. We spoke to a representative who was helpful after we sent photos. He said it may be an older version of their spa, he was uncertain since he did not have a model # which is Information the pool people are unable to provide. A week after the propane was hooked up we were still unable to use the jets. The people at Oasis in Seneca SC are nice enough people. Totally respectful when we encountered them personally. We just were not told the truth, and ended up with product we did not request. It has been a journey we have learned from. We were told we would LOVE the pool and spa once it was finished. There is a pit in my stomach. It was an awful experience. When I look out the kitchen window and see that dark blue pool with a white spa flowing into it, it is totally upsetting. The lights hardly show at night in the pool. The right thing to do was order the pool and spa in the color we wanted.
