+ -1 moreMarvin was great about returning my call and scheduling a consultation quickly. He was punctual the day of the assessment and provided an estimate within 24 hrs. His pricing was quite reasonable, almost $5,000 below the original contractor's bid! Ultimately we opted for a company that assumed the responsibility of pulling the permit.
Description of Work: My original contractor fell off the face of the planet, so I needed to quickly find an experienced company to install 11 Marvin Integrity windows that had already been purchased. These windows were to replace the original single-pane, aluminum frame windows of a 1957 cinder block home.

+ -1 moreMarvin came the day my call was placed. He was prompt, on time, very professional, experienced and pleasant. Marvin repaired the window issue, and also advised of possible areas of concern with the window. Would HIGHLY recommend him!
Description of Work: Marvin repaired the window that would not stay up when opened. He removed the window, and diligently checked all areas. He then adjusted the spring; it was too tight.

+ -1 moreA week before selling my house, I had a window that wasn't working properly. I contacted Marvin at Carolina Windows and Trim and he was over to my home within a few short hours to investigate the problem with the window. After checking out the windows and getting the window model number, Marvin called around to to his part suppliers to see if parts could be found. Unfortunately, the parts are no longer available. Marvin was very professional and very quick to look into finding the parts needed.
Description of Work: Marvin checked into getting parts to repair a vinyl window that wasn't working properly.

remodeling, replacement windows
+ 0 moreWork was done very good and on the estimate. The same contractor also was the window installer for our window contractor. He did an excellent job of installng the new windows and the flashing covered all the exterior wood which will not need to be repainted agaig.....ever. We ordered custom brick colored windows and the flashing matched exactly. From the outside it looks like one piece conctruction. They cleaned up after the work in both cases and finished on time. I will use them again the next time the need arises.
Description of Work: Repaired old termite damage to the outside of the garage. It was necessary to salvage the old siding and reuse it as they do not make that type composit of siding any longer. This was also the contractor who installed our new vinal windows.
