Rapps Heating & Air Conditioning

No response to home warranty company, never called or showed up when promised. No return calls to warranty company.

Rapps was dispatched to fix our HVAC through our home warranty because it was blowing warm air. There were on time. After the work was completed, we were told it was corrected and new fan blades would be ordered and installed. Six weeks went by and they didn't return to finish the work or call. Our HVAC stopped working completely and they were dispatched again. We received an appointment rather quickly but they never showed or called. I called the next day and tried several times to get through and left several messages. I finally reached someone and explain the issues and was disconnected half way through my sentence. I called back again several times and when I finally got someone on the phone I was told they would call me back in ten minutes because their system was acting slow. I never heard back. I called, emailed and had my warranty company call. I finally had to go with another company. The new company came to access the situation and determine that they installed the wrong motor, drilled in their own holes and took all the correct bolts and brackets. Now we are in another waiting game having to wait on parts because of their mistake. I do not recommend. I understand this is a busy time of year and expect long waits but there is no excuse for no show/ no calls, no communication and installing improper parts.

2-10 Home Warranty Company (also an "F" for service) dispatched the work order to Rapp, and after several days I've had zero response. I've tried calling them multiple times, and no one answers. When you select 0 for their voicemail, its apparent that no one is checking those messages either. The home warranty group will not dispatch another provider, therefore my home warranty is useless. BEWARE, don't go near these unprofessional organizations.

Rapp provided terrible customer service and were referred to us by out Home Warranty Company. Rapp sent 3 separate techs to assess the A/C unit and all had the same diagnosis each time that the dampers needed to be replaced. RAPP never called to schedule repair. We called Rapp to find out when repairs would happen. When repair was finally scheduled the Rapp tech informed me that they could NOT make the repairs because they had to come out for a 4th assessment visit.

It's been 2 weeks and still waiting on repairs. Took a week for appointment, then they had to order a motor from Georgia to North Carolina and it's been a week and they still do not have the part. This service is unheard of!!

I regret ever having come into contact with this company.

When the technician ED came out he could not find my AC unit. I already paid the fee and he left so I called back for them to come back out and they said that they would charge another 75 dollars but they never did anything in the first place. I even spoke to the owner Scott Rapp and he said there's another customer on the line and they have to go and theres nothing they can do. They refused to refund the money. ED told them that he was unable to get to the unit and the truth is he was able to get to the units they are in front of my window and door but he couldn't figure out which unit was mine.

It went well. The workers were excellent and left the area in a good condition. They were on time. They have fair prices and are hard workers.

I would not recommend them. the guy was very arrogant. He just did not know how to fix the a/c and he is just not professional and had a bad attitude.

I was very happy with Rapp's. They were assigned to me through my home warranty with American Home Shield. The technician showed up the same day I made the request, which was to look into an a/c unit with a flooded water pan. He was right on time, walked me through what he was looking for and what he needed to do. He blew out the drain lines and added 2lbs, of refrigerant.
