This is the best example of service....the way it ought to be. Hats off to Edgar and Enrique who installed my new Trane dual fuel heat pump today. Exactly on time and completed earlier than my expectation. Cleaning up every step of the way. Walking us through the new install and how to use the new thermostat. I don't think it gets any better than this. Great product and a great company. And I taught exemplary customer service for a living!!!

Working with this company has been a nightmare since day one of the installation. Panther began installing the furnace early 2019. We moved into the house in August of 2019. I have since had 7 (yes, 7!) thermostats installed (Panther blames the problems on the manufacturer - Trane). In January of 2020, Panther was at my house to do one of the many repairs needed and recommended that I purchase a Solaris (air scrubber). In addition to the Solaris not working, it was discovered in March, 2020 that the Solaris was blowing the transformer for it as well as for the furnace that it was connected to. In fall 2020, we had additional issues with the heating system not working. Panther sent a repair person out and it was discovered that when the furnace was installed, there were two incorrect dampers installed. "On/Off" dampers were installed rather than "Modulating." Needless to say, the system has been malfunctioning the entire time we have lived in the new built house because of this. In late November, 2020, Panther then sent a "repair team" to replace the dampers. We are not sure if the damper problem was fixed because the repairmen said that there were only two Head Technicians that knew how to connect the newest thermostat to the system (which includes sensors that were installed after we moved into the house because the system was not working efficiently in two rooms). We have contacted Panther to have a Head Technician come and connect the system (still not connected as of 12/1/20). Additionally, when the repairmen were at the house in November, 2020, severe damage was done to our ceiling and flooring. The owner, Mike Gedding, was at the house to inspect the damage (in addition to the photos that were sent to Panther via email) and as of today, no repairs have been made. If you are reading this review because you are considering Panther as your heating and cooling company, God Bless You!

Representative was friendly showed up on time walked the property then said the quote would be sent over in 1 week or less. It's been 3 weeks with no response. I even called to ask if it had been delayed due to a summer rush. My job may not have been the biggest but I atleast expected a quote be provided.

Jonathan has been out to my house a few times now for various repairs/checkups. I was having an issue with my older downstairs Geothermal unit with the AC not working. Jonathan diagnosed an insufficient flow issue and recommended an acid flush as the unit is nearly 15 years old. He showed me the gunk that came out of the system and it was nasty. That and a new valve did the trick breathing new life into an aging system. There are not that many Geothermal techs out there, but I believe that Panther has the best ones around.

Their service was great. They sent out 4 trucks and like 20 men and got it all done in one day. Edward Woods was the one who gave me the estimate and he gave me some ideas on how to improve the circulation and air flow, and it was just amazing. They were really polite, all the workers wore booties, laid out carpets, and when they were finished, one of the guys even asked me for my vacuum cleaner to clean up. They had great attention to detail and really listened to what I said during the process.

Mike and his crew at Panther were professional, prompt and very thorough all through the process, even through the clean up when the job was completed. We will not hesitate to use Panther for any heating or cooling needs in the future.

We have been using Panther for about 8 years. They are very responsive and they don't promise things that they can't deliver.

They did a nice job. The installation went well. They showed up on time, work was completed in a day and they way the connected and tied down all the outside lines looked much better than the original equipment. They point out a couple of things they suggested that I change. There was some mold starting to build up inside the box on the fan unit that connects to the duct work. They showed it do me and explain why it was happening. The were not pushy about anything and didn't try and sale me a bunch of things I didn't need. I now have them on an annual service maintenance agreement to check both my furnace and air conditioning units once a year. They check my furnaces (which they did not install) about before the winter season. They said the units checked out fine and didn't try to get me to buy any preventative maintenance. I one point I was using Morris Jenkins for my annual maintenance. Every time they came out, the had $500 in additional things they thought I should do. So for this has not happened with Panther.

They gave me an estimate to replace my homes cooling system. Their price was 35% higher than any of the other contractors for the exact same unit! Nice people, but unless you have money you're looking to throw away, go elsewhere.

The gentlemen showed up on time and removed the old unit, cleaned the lines for the switch from R22 to R410 freon, and and made the neccessary "adjustments" to get the new air handler to fit in the closet where the previous air handler was installed. The gentlement wore "booties" to keep the floors clean during the installation and kept the closet area neat and clean as well. The City of Rock Hill building inspector came the same day to review the install (that doesn't happen very often) and Panther assisted in getting us a $400 rebate from the City of Rock Hill for the 15 SEER system (still waiting for the check). The items that sold us on using Panther was; A) the 4 year financing package, B) our upstairs neighbor had Panther put a new unit in her condo last year, C) the American Standard unit had a better consumer rating than the other competitiors, and E) Mike Geddlings was very responsive and professional as was his installers throughout the entire install and purchase process. Also, I feel if I ever need maintenance on the unit, I won't have to feel uncomfortable about calling this company to keep it running well in future years.

They are very neat; they even take off their shoes when they come in the home. I’ve only had one issue with them which they promptly corrected. I initially bought the units from them.

The job went very well. Panther started the job at the prearranged time and finished a little earlier than they estimated and at the price quoted. The jobsite was left in very clean condition - all unwanted materials were hauled away. The workers were courteous and professional. The company owner kept tabs on the progress of the workers and gave us a full system run-down after installation was complete.

We obtained 3 estimates from local companies before selecting Panther based on their price, their quality assurances and their detailed discussions and estimates. We had to replace a 10 year old broken air conditioner and wanted to get any tax breaks and rebates from local power and gas companies. Panther gave us exactly what we needed at a fabulous price; we were able to restructure the ductwork with their estimate to distribute the air flow more efficiently and properly. The work crew was great - they were extremely professional and communicated as necessary. They even helped me unload my groceries! They had to remove the attic stairs to remove the old system; they made sure the trim work was perfect before completion. They cleaned up after their work both inside and outside. They installed a new programmable thermostat and trained me how to use it. They checked on the air flow and the installation after everything was finished. They even filed all the necessary paperwork with Duke Power and our gas company for our rebates. I was really impressed with how thorough the estimate was, how well they presented our options and how well they completed the work. It is exceptionally rare to find a company that does exactly what they said they would do and at a competitive price. I would work with them again anytime! In fact, we switched companies so they can do our year round 'seasonal' checks. We were really pleased with their work, honesty and positive helpful attitudes. They really do make it 'perfect'.

Panther's bid was exactly on target and they beat major competitors (big ads in yellow pages) by as much as $20,000. Yes $20,000. But that is not the best part. The best part was under what conditions my work got done. What happened - on the day my install was to occur, Rock Hill/CLT got hit with an amazing rain storm (8+ inches in just a few hours). Any other company would have called and canceled, Panther called to ask if it was OK to come! When Ronnie Moore and Edward Woods (Install team) showed up, it was pouring buckets and they worked tirelessly in one of the worst rain storms ever. They were more professional and courteous than anyone who has ever worked at my house and they did this while working in unbelievable circumstances; part of the time covered in mud under my house and another part of time working outside in a monsoon. But here was the best part - they noticed water under the house in the crawl space during the torrential downpour and suggested I go get a sump pump. Even told me where to go to get one and how much to expect to pay. They then installed the sump pump and drained the water from underneath my house without even blinking an eye! Amazing, these were A/C installers, that saw a potentially huge problem like flood waters under my house, and fixed it without wanting any money or without expecting any kind of recognition! Ronnie Moore and Edward Woods are the real deal! In summary, my A/C was installed on a day when it rained 8+ inches (8/26/08) and Panther should bottle whatever they are drinking and sell it! World class! I wish every other company was 1/100 as good as Panther. Everyone I dealt with was honest and professional! Panther is deserving of great recognition and more deserving of whatever profit they are making - the American dream!
