Horrible experience. Walter Ryan Brice, the owner, promised he could remove the water marks and etchings from our kitchen countertops. When he was done, I inspected the surface and they looked great so I paid him cash as he requested (Venmo). About 24 hours later, we noticed dozens of water mark etching, including several large etchings in the shape of circles and squares. The tops actually look WORSE than before he started!. I called and asked him to come back and look at the tops. About 8 days later he returned. He promised he would come back on 12/2/20 and fix the problems and that he accepted full responsibility ("this is on me" he said). He promised He never returned. In fact, he ghosted us. He ignored my pleas to return, ignored multiple texts (and I know he got them because it shows he read them) and ignored repeated phone calls and voice mails. He is dishonest and does horrible work. DO NOT USE THIS GUY! I wish I had seen previous reviews of others who had been ghosted after he promised to fix his own problems.

I hired Ryan and PSM to repair my tile flooring on or about October 2018. I bought all of the materials and the agreed upon price for labor was $1600. I noticed very quickly that Ryan did not show up on time and tended to leave early on most days. On the final day (when the grouting was done, and you could actually see the lines) the new grout lines were not aligned with the existing grout lines by about a half inch. There were also humps that were so big,, you could stump your toe on them when walking. I discussed this with Ryan and he said that he would come back 8 days later and "fix" it by moving 3 tiles....I told him that would not work because when you moved those 3 then the next 3 would be out of line etc. etc. In a subsequent conversation over the phone, I told him it would all have to be torn out and redone and that I felt he should pay for the materials that I was already out of pocket for. He became belligerent, cursed me and hung up. I had to hire someone else, re-buy all materials and tear it all out and re-do it. I have pictures.....

Great. The owner, Ryan, was a pleasure to work with. Very professional and he knows his products. Besides the shower work he did I also had other natural stone in our home looked at by Ryan for suggestions on repair/maintenance. Ryan provided info and didn't try to sell work that wasn't needed. His honesty was appreciated. His price is competitive and he did quality work. Our shower looks like new.

Ryan from Palmetto Stone Magic took the finish off our marble tile kitchen floor, then put a new finish on. He was very personable and did a great job for a reasonable price.

Ryan was very professional and responded immediately. He scheduled the appointment right away for the next week which was perfect. The day before he personally called and the next day he texted to say that he was on his way 1/2 hr before the scheduled time. His work was exemplary . He cleaned and polished the kitchen counters and filled multiple chips. They were perfect. Also, he cleaned and buffed the marble bath counters. Again, perfect. In addition, I didn't find his company when I listed granite cleaning and repair in Charleston, SC. I can't remember how I found that he was an Angie's list recommended company. Nevertheless, he should be listed in Charleston even though he comes from Rock Hill.

We had a new marble countertop installed by InStyle Charlotte. They left etch marks all over it after they installed it. After I complained to InStyle, they agreed to hire Ryan to come fix it. Ryan was fantastic -- carefully taped off the kitchen so he didn't make a mess, was quick and efficient, asked it how highly polished (or not) I wanted it, and, most importantly, left my marble looking absolutely perfect. He even went back and redid some of his own work without me even mentioning anything because he thought it didn't quite look perfect yet. It really did look quite amazing, and he got all of the scratches and etch marks out of the stone. I would highly recommend this if you have some older, beat up stone, and I would DEFINITELY recommend doing this before you try to sell a house -- it made a huge difference in how our kitchen looked. My only caveat: since I didn't pay for it, I don't know how much he costs.
