Howe Floor Covering

Charged over $1000 more than originally quoted and owner was rude and very unprofessional. I do not recommend this business and if you still decide to use them get everything in writing before beginning.

I had to call the owner back Phil out to fix where the carpet met the tile. It was not flush with each other. Also Damage was done to our baseboard and when I contacted the owner Phil he claims damage was not done by him and would not come and fix. With my busy schedule I didn’t catch the damage until the following weekend while putting our furniture back in. I’ve had to learn the hard way to take before and after pictures. I Do not recommend using this company. And if you do make sure you take plenty of pictures before and after!! The owner Phil did state that if I got a quote for a reasonable amount to fix the damage that he would “consider paying it” I should not have to out source someone else to fix damage that was done by them!!

Installation was behind schedule by one week due to another job taking longer. Installation went well, but closet doors in both bedrooms were not adjusted high enough by Howe's men at the completion of the carpet install. Phil Howe's install price was the cheapest of 5 companies I got prices from in Rock Hill. I would use Phil Howe again, but I would be a little more thorough about checking doors and corners before final payment.
