C.I.D. (Consider It Done) Painting, LLC

A large painting project was recently completed at my home in Rock Hill, SC. Since I am relatively new to the area, I asked for recommendations for a painter at the Cherry Road Sherwin Williams location. I have been using Sherwin Williams paint for nearly 50 years. The store employee handed me three business cards and said that other customers had been happy with their work. After meeting with two of the recommended painters, I decided on C.I.D. Painting in Rock Hill. Gary Dean, owner of CID Painting, was very helpful with suggestions as we discussed the project. He called attention to areas that I had not noticed. He left the final decision to me, but I'm glad I followed his advice. I was also impressed with his manner of taking the time to write down everything we discussed in detail before giving me a quote. His price was reasonable, and I was given a copy of the contract that listed everything to be done. The project was recently completed and I'm very happy with the results. Gary's business plan includes coming back after the project is completed and going over any necessary touch ups with the homeowner. There were a few minor "fixes" that were attended within a day or two. I will contact C.I.D. (Consider it Done - Right) for future projects.

New neighbors moved in next door and had CID paint their walls; we needed our walls painted also so inquired who was there and introduced ourselves to CID. They came over right away and gave us an estimate. When it was convenient for us to be out of town we called CID to complete the job. We are very pleased with the excellence and beauty of our walls. the edges and baseboard trim PERFECT. Pictures were hung back perfectly, furniture placed perfectly. Great Great Great job. Floors, counters, fixtures in bathroom, all cleaned. Thank ou CID for a wonderful job.

Gary Dean, the owner, did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! I had been wanting to have my living room painted again for a while but the ceiling was just too high for me to do it myself as was the awkward stairway going to my basement and I did NOT want to use the previous painter again. I asked some realtor friends of mine for suggestions and was soon introduced to Mr. Dean. I am SO GLAD I met him! Not only was he very professional AND CLEAN but his price was lower than the companies I have used in the past that did NOT do near as good of a job as he did. All areas he painted are perfect! The edges are all perfect and he didn't even use the blue tape! He had the job completed on time and I am a happy lady! I have recommended him to others and would recommend him to you too!

Work was not complete but worked Jan. 21, 22, 24, 25, 26 2019. We paid $596.00 deposit to him on Dec. 5, 2018, for materials. Upon letting him go, we offered to pay for what he had done, ( 2 small rooms, 1 lrg. bedroom, started in bathroom when we stopped him.) He was originally to paint 1-loft upstairs & bath room, 10-room 1 level home, 1-fairly lrg. garage. Our total bid was $5965.00 minus the $596.00 we already paid. He charged us $2015.00 for labor, $280.00 for unused paint which we paid for in the beginning. He did have to purchase approx. 2 more gallons of one color. He charged us a total of $2295.00 to leave, in addition to the $596.00 we already paid, for basically 3 rooms. Furniture was not covered as told would be until 4th day when I complained & all tools when moved to 2nd room were all placed right on my uncovered furniture. Already had paint on furniture, all across hardwood floor, on bathroom vanity witch put a lrg. spot on wood of vanity, paint can ring & paint spot on bed spread, sloppy taping in bathroom where tape was actually on wall & painted right over, so to remove tape, had open spot.Uneven, very sloppy cutting in from wall to ceiling, (ceilings were not to be painted) due to paint going on ceiling, his touch up didn't match now our ceiling needs painting too.

C.I.D. did a great job on all accounts and they were very responsive and had great communication. The price was very competitive and they offered to match other quotes. They repaired several problem areas before painting and worked with us on a cost.

Gary was originally recommenced by the staff of our local paint store. He responded very quickly to our call, and came to provide the estimate the next day.He was very knowledgable and provided a great deal of time and information in response to our questions. He explaind the details on the work and gave us a great deal of help exploring options and even did some color consultation for my wife. He was very pleasant and patient. Unfortunately we were unable to reole some schedule problems, and we not able to get the work done by him. I will definetly give him a call the next time we have work that needs doing, and will gladly recommend him to my friends and nieghbors.
