It went very well. They were polite, they really have a good customer service, they did a good job, and they cleaned up after themselves. They were good company to work with and we reviewed a lot of companies before we hired them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was good. They came on time and did good service. I was happy with it. There were no additional costs. The guy came on time and he was very professional. He took time to explains things to me so I was pleased with it.

My master bathtub faucet had an annoying leak and the garbage disposal stopped working. I attempted to repair the annoying link myself but did more damage than anything else. Brothers came out , did an evaluation, provided an estimate, explained the problem , clearly what had to be done, the warranty that came with the repair. Which would be put to the test about 1 month later when the leak returned. THey replaced the entire faucet fixture and garbage disposal. The technician was very professional, and very knowledgeable. A month after the initial repair the leak returned for some reason. I called brothers they looked at the date of repair, no questions, they sent same technician out. he repaired again with new faucet. NO issues

He had to cut a hole in the wall to fix the problem. He did a good job and cleaned up. He fixed the problems. It has been a good experience so far. They were here when they were supposed to be here. I will continue to use them.

They were fantastic and great. They did give me some pretty good advice. They completed they had to open up a wall and I had leaking water pipes and they noticed some other issues and they opened up and gave me some few different options so that was done. I would use them again in the future.

I will never again call on this company. They are the biggest ripoff in the industry. Here's what happened: My hot water heater stopped working so I called my normal excellent plumber who was a little late in returning my call so I called Brothers. They had a $49.00 diagnostic service call special, so I figured what's the harm. I figured wrong!! After diagnosing the unit for a few minutes, the tech said it was the thermocoupler, a small wire like piece that is attached to the water heater's pilot. He said the part is on the truck. I nearly fell down when he said it would cost $355.00 to install. The day before, when I was in Lowes, a brand new Whirlpool hot water heater, gas, 50 gallon just like mine, would cost $438.00. I gave him his $49.00 and told him no. My plumber called me later that night and was out there first thing in the morning. Total cost: $93.00. He said the thermcoupler costs only $18.00 and a $75.00 service call. I really think Brothers either has no conception of what things cost or they are just a gigantic ripoff. I stopped using them several years ago and I will never call them again. They should be ashamed of themselves.

I haven't had heat in two days, and the person who originally installed it was too busy to repair it. I called them and explained that I had no heat and ask could they come on a specific day in the morning (when I was off work) and they said they could come out after their morning meeting. When I called back the day they were supposed to be here, they said that they can't get over to me until after their first afternoon appointment. I had to call someone else to fix the furnace, and I wish if they couldn't make it out here they could have told me that to begin with.

Brothers came out and I was told two parts needed replacing in the furnace. The estimate of the parts only was close to $600. They also tried to sell me a maintenance plan that would save me $75 on the parts.There would still be a service call charge and labor on top of that. When he showed me the parts I said to myself there is no way those parts should cost that much. I asked them not to fix it and leave and I paid for the service call. After leaving I looked up the cost of those parts for my model furnace and I could purchase them both for under $60. I understand that companys are in business to make a profit but it's a shame when people try and take advantage of you because you may have no heat or AC. I would never use them again.

HORRIBLE customer service and very dishonest service men. Brother's recommended over $1,000 in repairs and tried to use scare tactics on my then-pregnant wife. They warned her that if we did not complete the repairs that the entire system would break down and cost over $10K to replace. Complete BS! Obviously something did not seem right so I called another locally-owned heating/AC company for a second opinion. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the unit and that company said they received at least 5 phone calls that week alone from Brother's customers for the same "issues". After speaking with the office manager and finding out that their service people are commissioned, I canceled my service contract with Brother's. They are a SCAM!!!!!

This provider offered a deal for plumbing repairs $50 for $100 of repairs. I am selling my house and the inspector noted a couple of simple plumbing repairs that I needed to get fixed (a loose toilet for example). When I called to schedule the appointment I was told that I needed to pay $135 for a whole house inspection before any repairs could be completed because I was selling my house. I'm not sure what selling my house has to do with anything. If I wasn't selling my house....then you would complete the repairs without an inspection. I chose not to use this company. There is soemthing that doesn't feel right about them offering a "Big Deal" for plumbing repairs and then requiring a whole house inspection before a person can use the "Big Deal". I feel the deal is misleading.

Mr. Ostendorf was extremely polite and professional. He arrived promptly on time after calling ahead. He was very easy to talk to, and I felt comfortable going through the household inspection along with him. After his assessment we discussed the findings and options including costs for the work he recommended. His expertise and honesty made me feel quite confident in his assessment and suggestions as well as his integrity and that of the Brothers Company.. I did decide to purchase a new toilet for one of our bathrooms. Mr. Ostendorf called and had the new toilet delivered and the old one removed immediately. He completed the installation himself within an hour I think. I can't imagine how the whole process could have gone any more smoothly, and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who asks.

We used them for a long time. I found out towards the end that they work on commission so every time they came out to check on the unit they would find something wrong with it. Stay away from Brothers! I question their honesty. We spent a lot of money with them on a number of different repairs that we may or may not have needed. We have since found another company to maintain our system.

This provider always wanted to sell additional services. We decided to go with the braded hoses on our upstairs washing machine. The hose was cross threaded and resulted in a very slow leak that almost flooded the laundry room. This was not the first time Brother's had incorrectly completed work and left us with the mess.

They were a little on the expensive side. He had quoted me a price but half way through, he had to shave my counter since it was in the way and the price then went up. Scheduling was fine and they showed up on time for the appointment. One technician came and it took about 3 hours to complete the work. The technician was very knowledgeable as well.

The Repairman showed up 30-mins early for an 8:30am appt. He immediately asked for the location of the water turn off valve to the house. All I had was a simple drip that needed to be repaired; however he said the water pressure to the house had to be checked. I refused to have the pressure checked. He then said he had to do a "build-up" of both sides of the faucet because if one side was leaking the other one would eventually leak. I asked him the cost for such a "build-up" which was $159 according to his price sheet that he pulled out. This means I would owe an additional $59 on top of the $50 Groupon ($100 value) that I purchased. I eventually told him to repair the side that is currently leaking and he said the cost would be $23 additional vs. $59. The repair took him all but 5 minutes to complete. Had I agreed to have the water pressure checked and this so-called "build-up" completed, this entire service would've probably cost $200. I felt as if an attempt was being made to take advantage of me by adding services that were not requested or necessary.

Had I known this I would have never bought the deal to begin with as I know how costly Brothers is. I thought the provider was ARS. I had a clogged shower drain. Plumber quoted me $385 to fix it. I need a stuber vent. I quickly called three other HIGHLY rated plumbers. Their cost for the same service ranged from $165-$220. I gave the tech the opportunity to meet these quotes they declined. I booked another plumber right away (all about the pipes). I Still had to Pay him $20 for gas to come out. I would like a refund immediately. I was not happy at all with the misreprestantion of ARS and the quote being $385 vs $165. Thanks

It went great. It took him 4 hours to get the work done. It was great. It's very clean. We had no problems. He did a great work. The price was what he said. He was early.

The guy, Sam, was excellent. They were very knowledgable and gave me a wealth of information. I would highly recommend them.

They are on time and very professional, and do good work, which they back up 100%.

The price was ridiculous. I needed them to clean the drain and they wouldn't clean the drain, they insisted on removing the toilet rather than just making because it was just a piece of toilet paper, but they just sat here and they kept running the water and the whole thing had backed up into my tub and into my shower. What they did was just run the water and watch it go down and then they sat here over like almost two hours doing that, which by paying the hour so it is not very cost effective and then they said that they don't snake, they would take the toilet off and they did it my hand, so it was a matter of stretching out the hours and after all that they come in and need to replace all my toilet. I would absolutely not use them again.

This was my first time using any services on Angies'. Received notification call 30-40 that plumber would be arriving. Plumber was friendly and very knowledgeable. Plumber first explained prices of services prior to working. I mentioned the coupon I had purchashed and company honored coupon. Service visit went smooth; however, I had to show proof coupon recipt purchase to plumber; unaware of discount coupon advertisement.

The job went very well. The technician was very prompt and courtious.

New to area and was not sure who to call. After looking at various companies on Angie's List and doing some research, I tried Brothers. Called on a Saturday afternoon and they were able to send someone out the next morning which was a nice surprise. I thought I'd have to wait unitl Monday for non-emergency. Tech (Jeff) was very professional and on time. Once he took a look at the sink, he went over the cost to fix depending on what all needed to be done to unclog the drain so there were no surprises. Was very satisfied with the work done and would call again.

Emmit was my service tech. He arrived ON TIME the day we scheduled an appointment. He spent time reviewing my needs based on my budget and my home and even spent time upgrading the plumbing to meet the recent codes. When we decided which unit was best (he had several models to choose from in various price ranges), he picked one up from the warehouse, installed it and had it running the next day. They of course charged me a for some of the extras I needed but he made sure I knew about them in advance and allowed me to make the decision whether I wanted to upgrade the inlet valve (it needed replacement!) My wife and I were treated with respect and without the "high pressure" sales pitch. Their company also extended the warranty on the unit for an additional 2 years! I would highly recommend speaking to someone from Brother's even if you already have a quote from another company. Emmit saved my family a bunch of money on a better unit installed very well.
