Description of Work: Chris came and did a thorough cleaning of the fireplace. He also inspected the chimney and crown. He provided a detailed explanation of the current condition and suggested some repairs. He was very professional, punctual, friendly. Excellent service would definitely use again.

Description of Work: CLEANED OUR CHIMNEY AND REPLACED THE CAP AFTER A SQUIRREL HAD FALLEN INTO OUR FIREPLACE; RECOMMENDED REPAIRS NEEDED, POINTED OUT DANGEROUS LOOSE BRICKS IN THE FIREBOX AND URGED US TO GET THEM REPAIRED, WHETHER HE DID THE WORK OR NOT. AGREED TO PROVIDE MY HUSBAND WITH THE NECESSARY CONTACT TO GET MATERIALS TO DO SOME OF THE WORK HIMSELF.

+ -1 moreCHRIS BROWN IS A TREASURE. ALTHOUGH EXTREMELY BUSY, HE DROVE OVER 40 MILES ON A SATURDAY TO CHECK FOR LEAKS AROUND OUR CHIMNEY. THE CHIMNEY LOOKED SECURE, BUT HE CAULKED A COUPLE OF PLACES WHERE A PREVIOUS ROOFER HAD LEFT BENT NAILS AND WHERE JOINTS IN THE ROOF MEET. CHRIS HAD PREVIOUSLY CLEANED AND SEALED OUR CHIMNEY, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO WANTS QUALITY WORK.

+ -1 moreHAD A CHIMNEY AND FIREPLACE INSPECTED ON THE HOUSE I AM BUYING. THE INSPECTOR WAS ON TIME (ACTUALLY EARLY) AND INSPECTED THE CHIMNEY INSIDE AND OUT. HE PROVIDED ME WITH A WRITTEN REPORT INCLUDING PHOTOS, AND HE TOOK A GREAT DEAL OF TIME EXPLAINING HOW MY FIREPLACE AND CHIMNEY WORKED (WHEN/HOW TO OPEN/CLOSE THE FLUE AND THE VENT) AND HOW TO PROPERLY USE THE GAS STARTER. HE RECOMMENDED A CLEANING (FORGOT THE PRICE) AND INSTALLING A CHIMNEY CAP, WHICH THEY WILL DO FOR $95 PLUS TAX. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THEM AFTER MY HOUSE CLOSING TO INSTALL THE CAP AND CLEAN THE CHIMNEY.
