Description of Work: Remodel of Master Bath including tile, shower, countertops, painting cabinets, walls and ceiling. Project is still underway, but close to completion. Workers are pleasant and professional. Workmanship is very good. This is the first time I've remodeled, so was new to the process. I would do some things differently in hindsight, but overall this has been a good experience.

+ 0 moreThis company works in conjunction with American Wood Reface and does their countertop installation prior to the refacing of kitchen cupboards. We will not have the cupboards refaced until 2015, but Prestige Stone's owner, Tom, came out to my home and measured the counters. He scheduled the installation at my convenience and sent three men to complete the installation, which included a new sink and faucet installation, and the reinstallation of my garbage disposal. The work was done in one day, and the clean-up done was an excellent job. I am so happy with their work that we are having the same company do the backsplash installation. I will review that job when it is done.
Description of Work: Measured, cut and installed new quartz countertops in my kitchen.

+ 0 moreThe granite cracked while cutting it, but they allowed us to pick out another one. They quickly replaced and cut the new piece so they could still stay on the targeted delivery date. Communication was difficult at first, but picked up later. Due to this I don't know if I will use them in the future. I will look around a little first. Very good price and installation/service was very good. Also, they cut the granite originally to wide, but they corrected it one week later no problem. Only took them an hour. Really good customer service.
Description of Work: I bought a slab of granite for a bathroom vanity. I also bought an all hardwood vanity cabinet for the bathroom.

+ -1 moreThey were patient and helpful to us in making a decision as to the pattern to be used. Once we decided and gave them a deposit, there were several unexplained delays and we had trouble getting them to return telephone calls. We gave serious thought to cancelling the contract and demanding return of our deposit. Our sense was that their office procedures were not well developed. Over a period of a few weeks we were told repeatedly that they were having computer troubles, which did not seem legit to us. However, once the final plans were made for installation, they were here on time and did a really good job of installing the granite. In the process they damaged some of the cabinet, but they immediately repaired it to our complete satisfaction. They actually provided a bonus service, perhaps to make up for the delays and missed calls, etc. Overall, we are quite pleased with the granite and the quality of the installation. We were surprised after the completed installation and payment, that there was no follow-up call to make sure that things went well and that we were satisfied.
Description of Work: Removed and disposed of old counter tops in kitchen and replaced with granite.

Description of Work: We went to Prestige Stone with our interior decorator after the manager had been to our home to view the master bathroom to be remodeled. We worked with a design specialist and our interior decorator and quickly came to decisions as to tile work, types and color or the tiles and plumbing fixtures. The work did not begin until about a month after we had expected, and took longer than we had expected, but we were very satisfied with overseeing of the job by Tom, the head honcho at Prestige. For example, on one Friday afternoon after the plumber left for the weekend, we discovered we had no hot water, and when when the tile man attempted to turn the water intake valve into the hot water heater back on, it not only broke off in his hand (water heater only two years old), but it began to drip. I called Prestige at five-thirty on a Friday afternoon, not expecting to find anyone in, but Tom was there. Even though all plumbing stores were now closed, he asked me to take pictures of the broken faucet and e-mail them to him while he was at Home Depot. He obtained the correct parts and came and successfully repaired the valve around seven in the evening, on a hot summer's night. I am not certain who was "at fault" for the breakage mentioned above, but we were not charged by Prestige for the valve nor the repair work. While the work was being performed, Tom called us daily to check to see if we were having any problems with the work. None.

+ -1 moreEverything turned out beautifully. They were very good and very professional. We were very happy. The price was good. I think we could have done a little bit better on the price but they took out all the old countertops and installed the sink and they put the stove in. Everyone else we talked to said we needed different contractors to do all those different things. Trying to coordinate that would have been a headache that I didn't want. We didn't even add up what it would have cost to go to all those different contractors. He came back once or twice when we had questions. They were on time and they got it done quickly.
Description of Work: We used Prestige Stone Fabrication in Bluffton to install granite countertops in our kitchen and bathrooms. We used them twice; they did the kitchen first and two years later they did the two bathrooms. They did the bathrooms last spring. When we went to them the first time they were in New River, a commercial neighborhood in Hardeeville. When we went a year ago, they had moved their office to Bluffton. In the kitchen they did a backsplash, a big island and a big countertop. They replaced the sink with a stainless steel sink. He replaced the countertops, sinks and faucets in the two bathrooms.
