Description of Work: A/C diagnostics/minor re-route of intake duct. |This was the second time that I've used Blanton's. They are quick to respond, knowledgeable and professional. Will use again.

Description of Work: Replace HAVC unit,relocated unit , install new air ducts

Description of Work: Blanton installed a Carrier AC unit for me. I thought I was getting an Infinity Series but the air handler was a Performance Series. The brochure sent to me by Blanton was the Infinity Series and the quote didn't mention the series name but listed the model numbers. I didn't know you could use a Performance Series with the Infinity until Carrier Rep explained it to me. Of course when you mix and match the parts all the features on the Infinity do not work per Carrier Corp. To make matters worse Blanton installed the heat pump with the hot air from the Carrier blowing into the Trane upstairs unit. The unit overheated the unit 2 times. The humidity was reading up to 70% and Jimmy Blanton just kept wanting me to add parts saying it was my house.It also made my power bill close to 1000 per month. Since I had a HVAC company with some since come out and raise the air handler, my power bill is running about 350 per month. The humidity is normal now without adding all the extras Blanton wanted to add.Bottom line, Jimmy Blanton did not care about fixing the unit and he did not fix it. I should have taken Blanton to small claims court but I became sick and I don't have time to mess with someone as incompetent as he.

Description of Work: The technician came out to see why our upstairs A/C is not working. He told us we were out of freon, but that putting new freon in may be futile, since there's probably a leak and a coil would need to be replaced. He quoted $1875, which I know is the going rate for that kind of repair, but unfortunately, we have to put off getting it done because of finances:-(

Description of Work: Clogged toilet. I thought I might have tree roots in the line running to the street. When I asked if he had a fiber optic router and he said they do not have one. He did have a hand held router and did find a blockage in the pea trap of the toilet. Guess I can thank my granddaughter for that. It was cleared and I have no problems since. He also replaced a water supply line on my kitchen sink and a toilet kit on a different bath room. Over I was satisfied with the work.

Description of Work: Blanton's installed a new heat pump in our home. Everything went well. I had several questions when I first contacted them and all were answered quickly. They completed the installation in one day and the new unit is working great. Very professional and reliable organization.

Description of Work: Very impressed with the representative that came to our home. He was very punctual, very professional, very knowledgeable. We were not in the position to have the work performed at this time as we had several other repair needs that were very critical. The rep. reattached some duct work that had come loose to tide us over until we could have our duct system replaced. Very satisfied with their communication with us.

Description of Work: they installed a new HVAC system and spray foam insulation. they did an excellent job and worked their schedule around another contractor replacing plumbing. My only regret is not having them do both the plumbing and the work they did. I will gladly use them for any work they are capable of performing in the future. Very personable and professional in everything they did.

Description of Work: I called to have a plumbing leak checked out. I already had another plumber look at it and said "it isn't a plumbing problem" I knew it was a plumbing problem because the water only showed up after the kitchen sink ran for a long time. I told the receptionist I needed to have a camera-snake. I waited 3 days for the plumber and when he showed he said "you need a camera-snake but we don't have that. Three days wasted and another plumber came later that day with a camera-snake and found the problem.
